The Resort is GREAT, better than we expected
No extras to pay. Very satisfied. We holidayed at The Boambee Bay Resort for the 1st time and will definitely be making regular returns to this Resort. It had everything we required and much more, great for families with children with the activities (run by Maddy) or just a couple.

Perfect holiday
No extra fees all included, Labrador was the perfect spot, very clean, quiet beautiful view right across road from beach. Close to public transport and convience store lovely walking path next to beach

The people who manage the property are amazing. The facilities are awesome. Pool room was great to entertain and relax. Great conversations with the staff. The rooms need updating otherwise in good functional order. Can book anywhere in Gold Coast for the same price and not get harassed by a classic sales rep to upgrade membership. I personally don't want to be sold something on my holiday.

Relaxing holiday
We love Boambee Bay and have been coming there for the last 30 years.
Its a relaxing and stress free location. Kids were occupied all day playing in the pool put put golf and organised activities.

We too were picked up at Pacific Fair in Surfers Paradise and were given the hard sell. The demeanour of the sellers changed dramatically as soon as we said no. REMEMBER - you have the right to say NO! Ignore the loud music playing in the background and the rounds of applause you hear - it is all part of the distraction designed to put you off and let your guard down. The system distracts you by encouraging you to not say 'No' and make yourself feel guilty for saying 'No'.

Nice setting
Most of the staff were friendly. Units, we had 3, were spotless and had everything we needed. Bit disappointed that the paddle boats were locked up on Sunday afternoon when we just wanted to spend time on the lake.

Perfect Quiet Location
Sandy Point Labrador Gold Coast was super quiet location and was beautifully presented. Lovely spacious rooms and whole facility was exactly as expected and kept in beautiful condition. Managers and staff were fantastic, nothing was a problem.

Cedar Lake Resort - Great place to relax
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The unit was spotless clean, looked recently renovated and equipped with everything we needed. One thing that I would like to suggest: Why not make some of the units dog friendly ( no carpet ). Strict rules and regulations can apply and even a security bond would be ok. But this would give more pet owners the opportunity to holiday with their 4-legged family members. We would definitely come more often and give you 5 Stars if we did not always have to find accommodation for our dog elsewhere.

Lovely restful place for a holiday
As always we enjoyed, Unfortunately this holiday was smokey as was around Australia.
The wild life are great especially all the birds. We even had a beautiful carpet snake come to see us. We think it must have just shed its skin as the the colour was amazing. It would have been about 2.2 meters, Grand kids think its the only place for a holiday and if we go anywhere else they ask when are we going on holidays

A great family holiday
On both occasions we have stayed at a classic holiday resort the staff have been friendly, the rooms clean with good amenities, it really is a great and relaxing atmosphere and puts you in holiday mode straight away. Thoroughly enjoyed our time with classic holidays .

A week on the Gold Coast
We booked through RCI and did not attend the Classic Holidays presentation after being requested by email and phone, kindly declined and was not hassled after refusal. Well appointed and roomy apartment of 2 bedrooms for ourselves and family with a 7month old son. Harbor Town approx. 3km was excellent for outlet shopping and restaurants. Cafes and restaurants also available nearby. Reception available between 8AM and 5PM providing excellent service, Mix and mingle night was enjoyable and opportunity to meet other guest.

Yep. My partner and I got scratchy ticket and we agreed to go for free gift and because we thought people selling scratchies had a hard gig. Had no intention of signing up so didnt research them.
Sat thru silly info session where they try to connect with you and sound interested and then tell you its over $10K for holiday package when you say no you are sent to another room to collect your free prize where the manager asks you why you are not interested and then offers us deal for only a few grand...Read more

Well it looks like i'm not the only one got sucked in -what ever you do DON'T join. ts cheaper to book your holidays with flight centre or web jet.and far more reliable. o its up to me. Well this is the fun Part -Classic holiday don't send notices via mail, email or phone me to say by the way you owe $200 -$300. What they do is send you to the debt collectors and then when you finally receive a email when its all too late.When i phoned unClassic holiday you get diverted to the Philippines -when you question why they haven't make contact by phone, they say i didn't answer, (my job doesn't allow me not answer the phone) and i ask why they didn't leave a message - silence, excuses.When i ask for the dates and times- they can't give them to me.One saving grace is i got offered 5 yrs free when joining, but only paying yearly fees i SAID no. warning don't join Classic holidays2 comments

nd content of the phone calls - your over seas call centre went vague. I wont use your business and have written and called to try and stop the contract early. I pay 199 a year membership and 100.13 per month x three years and get nothing for that ...with other time share your maintenance fee gives you a week at those resorts

Hi Swivel, this all depends on what type of booking you made. If you've purchased CPO and your cancellation is made up to 72 hours prior to confirmed arrival date, then no penalties with apply and your Points will be saved for a booking at a later date, up to the Points original expiry date which is 2 years from the date of issue.
