I have built with Collier Homes twice: a triplex development when it was still owned by Homes Australia prior to 2016, and my existing residence under the new brand owner Dario Amara. Finally Collier Homes got very active. Well not to serve me but to get the final payment. Repetitive phone calls and emails! I emailed them to confirm them all the works have been done. They confirmed me that it was and pushed me to complete the final pay within 7 days.

Hang on, WOW! Surprise time from COLLIER!!!

I checked the entire house as I got horrible experience with COLLIER through out the entire building process. The thing that I discover can not be even come in my wildest dream ever.

I recently moved into my new home built by Collier Homes. What I can I say? Like any house construction, there are always going to be things that come up. My only advice to any potential client of any building company is to keep an eye on your build from start to finish. We were onsite at least once a week. And don't sweat the small stuff. Frustrating to say the least. They couldn't get the plans right, bank had to ask three times for documents. They sent the wrong draw down schedule to the bank, ran out of face bricks, ran out of sand twice, brickies blame supervisor, supervisor says brickies didn't tell him the needed sand. Thank you Collier Homes! Our slab went down in the last week of April and the brickwork is due to be completed in the next few days!!!!

We already had a house plan designed for our block of land so it was a case of finding the right builder. Collier Homes could provide the level of finish we wanted for a reasonable price so we went ahead with them. Their “Settler” display home has the fixtures and fittings that are included in the Collier Collection package so it was good to see what would actually be installed in our house.

I found Collier Homes to be excellent, I have built many homes including building as an owner builder a number of times, as this home was to be my last I wanted a very high specification and had specific ideas on what I wanted, fortunately I was not restricted to a standard Collier plan and was able to develop my ideas and product selection into the new home.

Do not build with Collier Homes!!! If you have signed up with them, you should keep close attention to the progress of each stage! We had read the negative reviews before signing up however decided to go ahead as the Sales Person did such an excellent job and spent numerous months with us on our plan and requirements. We decided to build with Collier after repeated assurances by salesman that Collier offered excellent standards, trades and materials. The decision was not taken lightly but the right boxes were ticked. Beware Customer!!!
Don't ever go with this builder. They don't even know how to design a house-plan and they are into construction business!!! Unfortunately we had already signed the contract before knowing this glitch that cost us arm and a leg!!! Their design simply didn't comply with the council after the submission of the plans and builder confidently argued that it's not their mistake!!! All wet area tiling was incorrect, most of the falls in the laundry, ensuite and bathroom fell the wrong way which meant we had water heading out our doors instead of going down the waste water drains like it should. We built with Collier which recently got completed in July 2013.

As we have built before with another builder which ended up being a nightmare so we certainly know what that's like.

We must express that the quality and workmanship of the build has been second to none. The tiling is has been done to full perfection. Paintwork, cabinets, plastering all has been done excellently.

We fine it very difficult to comprehend some of the negative reviews on this website as Collier always sorted out any problems we had.

Having built before we certainly can say that Collier is a company to does care about their customers and reputation. Every time we had a problem it was always rectified very quickly and efficiently.

I wish I could give them zero stars! Avoid using Collier Homes at all costs. They are quite possibly the worst builder in Perth. We took handover of our house in 2007 and have had nothing but problems since. The only decent member of their staff was the sales person, but he works on commission so has to be good or no one would build with them. Once we signed on the dotted line it all went down hill. After bought a land, we created our dream home plan (custom plan). We gave the initial plan to four builders for the quotation and estimated costs. Eventully shortleasted two builders for direct comparision of cost vs specification vs value added services vs reviews. At the end we selected Colier Homes becasue of
- very good support from the building consultant at the initial stage of planning
- very good guidance to improve our custom plan. In fact Colier Homes was the only builder who added some good values to our custom plan
