Typical Money hungry insurance company selling product that is useless.
Took out policy before corona virus was taken seriously, no warnings etc on policy. Cancelled trip, send email to ask about policy cover, no response, send another receive auto response that they would be in contact in 2 business days, a week laster still no response so call hot line, wait for over an hour and told I should be able to claim cancellation fees so don't cancel the insurance policy. Get onto them a week later after cancelling flights, no cover for corona virus issues and only refund 70% of insurance policy. For a company to act like this in these circumstances is unconscionable and that's why insurance companies have bad reputations

Did you read my review, I didn't make a claim and canceled the policy as I was told no cover for anything related to Corona Virus after initially being told I could claim. You did manage to help yours... Read more
elves to 30% cancelation fee though, I'd like that back and by the way cancelled it 14 days ago and was told I would get a refund in 5-7 business days but still no refund?

Lost Luggage
Quite possibly the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with.
Lost all my clothes on a SYD to LAX flight and because I don't have receipts for my socks, jeans or the like they have refused the claim. who keeps receipts for clothes. DO NOT TRY AND MAKE A CLOTHES CLAIM.

Crap communications
Rang to find out information regarding travel insurance, spoke with an overseas consultant.
they had no idea what I was asking and could not answer my questions, and refused to find out or put me through to someone who could help. they just keep trying to sell me more insurance and avoiding the question

Too many exclusions
We took this travel insurance to travel oversee. After we had a issue and lodged a claim. Unfortunately it was turned down. Our fault because we did not read the PDS properly and just accepted all will be good as it was recommended to us by flight centre. After reading the PDS we found allot of exclusions that is ridiculous and might have been cover we would have needed. When I travel somewhere I don't sit and read insurance documents but enjoy my break away. Sad to say rather read the document folks because you might not be covered. We just lost a couple of grand for this mistake.

Our claim number is 1310550. Thank you for taking the time to look into this matter again. We really thought travel insurance will cover us for the unexpected, however we were disappointed with the amount of exclusions on this product.

If I could rate 0 stars I would
Paid out less than half of what I was owed and the claim took over 3 months. They will use any excuse not to pay. I will never use them again, not worth it.
