Exceptional Service
We connected Electricity with DPG.
They were next day service. Came out promptly because my son has medical equipment that he needs to use. Very easy to deal with. Even rang before coming.

Worst Service.
Customer service take more than an hour to solve even simple problem. Billing system is worst, I almost got excess charge of $100, if I haven't compared bill and account. No electricity Bill untill 5 months.

No bill for 5 months
Had not received a bill for 5 mths rang 3/1 we will get it done 6/1 sorry have to wait 7 to 10 business days 10 days later sorry another 5 business days and supervisor will call you no call 5 days later sorry supervisor will contact you again no call nothing will have to ring again so frustrating second meter almost due

Situation has been explained and is being dealt with in a very expedient manner with constant updates.
Power readings are being investigated fast and efficiently. Dodo staff are in direct contact with energy provider organising a solution. Situation arose when power readings doubled over the last 2 quarters of 2022.

Normal power is installed already, been with dodo for a number of years now. I cannot understand why my night tarrif comes on during the day so I will have to get this rectified asI may be getting charged too much

Friendly and helpful people
I have had no problems communicating with the service people and no problems with my electricity. I have found affordable mobile plans for my partner and myself. I would like the option of a BPay arrangement to contribute towards making my bill payments easier before they arrive. Thanks

Power and gas services are very satisfactory.
But, Internet speed and downloadings are frequently slow though I'm O.K to use my internet,
The staffs are very kind and services are very professional, usually, they catch my inquiries very fast and solve so quickly and smoothly.
They are all good.
Overall, Very highly to recommend them to someone else if they are looking for a great power and gas, and internet service provider.

Steer clear of DODO
So, signed up with Dodo, provided a rate which was decent, then out of the blue, received a text message a few weeks later, when it was due to start, stating that the contract was being cancelled, as they couldn't find my NMI, rang them that day, spoke to someone who said it wouldn't be cancelled and that he would call me that night to get my NMI,

he fact that I've been paying a month of higher rates with my older provider as they jacked up the price) - however, then called back after signing up and told, the rates where wrong, then proceeded to provided much higher rates, told them not to bother and to cancel the contract. they then promptly changed there mind and said i could get the original rates... -- back on track again! received my welcome pack WITH the higher rates! called again! was told, they could now no longer offer those rates, and offered an additional 30 dollars incentive... (note rates where about 15% higher than what i was offered - so it wouldn't have even made the difference in the first month.) ended up cancelling the contact again. so 1. thanks for wasting my time, 2, causing me to pay a much higher rate on with my existing provider due to the price hike - probably equating to 50-100 bux due to the amount it jumped (about 50%), 3. missing out on a much better deal/contract with another provider as they have now increased there prices too. useless, annoyed and would sternly warn against going with DODO - and to think they wanted my internet AND mobile phone! - NOT A CHANCE!Similar opinion? Billing Department and Customer Service team are absolutely hopeless!!!!!!
Firstly, I am OK with the tariffs for Dodo electricity & gas. It has just been a nightmare trying to get Dodo to sort out my electricity billing from quarterly to monthly. The first bill I received was after 2 to 3 hours complaining on the phone after waiting nearly 17 weeks for it to arrive. Customer service don't want to know you as it is all too hard for them to work out what is happening and they refuse to transfer you to anywhere else - such as the billing department - to get it sorted out. Dodo, but again, nobody can give me a straight forward answer as to when that will be. I have just had a meter reading from my current supplier - which was supposed to be my final reading, but again, customer service didn't help, wouldn't transfer or wouldn't have a billing department staff member ring me about all of the above issues. So if you want to have a raging headache and have your hair turn grey, then deal with Dodo Customer Service staff - they either just don't care or are too incompetent to assist. Dodo, you are going to lose customers because of your staff. Have your supervisors properly monitor staff and train your staff (including supervisors) appropriately before you let them loose on your customers. As a former manager controlling over 100 staff, I can say from experience, Dodo you need to lift your game or your customers will walk. Don't believe me, then have a look at all of the other feedback on this site - your brand has been badly damaged by your staff and your unwillingness to help.Similar opinion? Worst customer service
I called them to get a connection. I picked them because there rates were good. Call center agent was extremely rude, I talked to his supervisor and even she was terrible. During that call i decided not to go with dodo despite of their good rates.

Worst customer service ever
Tried to sign up online. Was told they cant service our area...so then from 7am the next morning we started getting spam calls, 7 to be exact between 7am and 2pm...thsts one every hour and why I dont know as they cant provide a service...so i called back the number that they harrassed us from and asked for my number to be removed...the woman on the phone couldnt be understood properly and proceeded to get up me for calling the wrong department...it was the sales department...i explained im not a customer and wasnt given any other option when I ...Read more
called the number they called from and i was simply returning their call and calling back the number they called me on...she was rude as hell and then proceeded to hang up on me when she realised she wasnt getting a sale....so i called back the same number and got another person and explained what just happened and that I just wanted the calls to stop...she then offered a $200 credit I explained their website said we couldnt be serviced...after explaining this a million times apparently my number has been removed. All this before Im even a customer...hellllllllllll noooo, never ever sign up to doodoo.. i mean dodo...nightmare of a company....had internet with them in 2010 and they were awful so nothings changed in nearly a decade.Similar opinion? Overseas call center. Amateur and time-wasting.
Electricity customer. The meter is locked inside, so it required coordination to schedule access for the initial reading. It took 5 hours of calls and 3 incorrect appointments. Their service is a joke. If your time is valuable to you, dont use Dodo.

Terrible system, nightmare customer service
Dodo system is fully crap. Staffs do not know well their system. They send wrong email such as your account balance not enough for payment, when it is enough and even there are no bills. Instalment plan does not work properly, sometimes does not debit. Usage calculation, converting formulas are invisible, you never find anywhere and that formulas change everytime, staffs say we calculated wrong in past, now it is correct. If you want to connect, you should call and hear all details of the agreement during 30-40 minutes by phone. No online service for that.

Dishonest Sales Rep
I signed up for electricity, but the salesperson provided false information about the gas and internet just to get me signed in. I noticed the discrepancies on the welcome pack and cancelled the gas and internet accounts straight away. They wasted almost 3 hours of my time over phone.

Can i have a bill please?
I am staggered how it's possible to have such different service levels from the same company. Have Dodo broadband and it just works. No issues, no confusing bill, just simple. I then added P&G (no gas where i live) and i cannot seem to get a straight answer in regards to anything. well over 3 months in my place and they cannot seem to provide me with a bill, just taking $57 out every month. No matter how often I ask for one they cannot seem to provide it. I even got an email 'apologising' for the service and a statement saying they would refund me (which they haven't). All I want is a bill that tells me what I am using. How hard is that? Very if you are Dodo it seems.

Dodo asked to change my electrical meter to smart meter. The reason is my meter does not Ausgrid standard. The bill price will be changed after. I call customer care for more information. A female staff repeatedly read the reason from email what I received. Sent twice email to customer care, no response. Anybody has same issue asking for changing smart meter.

I called dodo 3 times. The person can not give your answer. the manager isn’t on the phone. transferred me to Ausgrid. after a few selection, ask me go to fill a form request form. The cut off. Bad service+++.
They should be paying for it if they’re requesting the upgrade. Don’t let them tell you otherwise. They’ll try and make you pay for everything.
