The battery died after 2 years and 2 months. It had very little use, about 3 times a month, and I never left it charging continuously. For the price you would expect it to last a long time. I have power tools where the batteries last for years. Cant justify the price to buy another Dyson, as the quality obviously isn't there, may as well now look at some of the cheaper brands.

It WAS good, when new..
2 years down the track (as soon as warranty is void)
and its stopped working, weve taken very good care of it and always kept it clean and charged yet the battery just died one day and it will not hold charge beyond 5secconds of use.
It flashes red all the time with a fault and no warranty as its lapsed.. $450 for 2 years use is a bit steep for a vacuume!

It only ever lasted a few mins to clean tiles anyway, wont be purchasing another!

I use it for carpet and tiles. With the max power it is great for carpet but sometimes lacking if it’s just on normal. Waste bib button can be improved as the button ejects the whole canister resulting in everything falling into the bin.

It pays for the price. Love this vacuum, makes the housework easier and efficient in time. Especially for me who have 4 kids. Really can’t go wrong with this product.

Does what it is supposed to do, easy to put together, good enough for a quick run over the traffic areas.
Takes a long time to charge for a mere 20mins of battery life, much too loud.

I have emailed, hung on the phone to talk to someone in regards to an issue I have with our V6 slim hand held vacuum. The battery is not keeping charge seems to be a common issue. It is just over a year old

Docking is great!! Charge time slow at 3.5 hrs. Suction is great on Max power but only 6 mins life. But you would be surprised how much you can do in 6 mins. Other wise normal setting is good as well for around 20 mins. I bought this as I had one last year and separated from the wife. The thing I missed the most apart from the cat was the Dyson V6 so had to get another one cause going back to corded was painful!!

Got this product second hand to tryout instead of our big heavy corded dyson. So far so good. It performs well and cleans very quickly and effortlessly. 20 minutes at max is plenty of time to vacume the areas we need. Very convenient and quality product.

I had this cordless vaccum cleaner for almost 3 years. I believe it’s the best brand in the market . It’s a life saver especially for families with kids. Light weight, easy to operate . 10 minuts of constant working if you use MAX and 20 minuets if you dont use it.

Dyson V6 Slim -is a state of the art cleaning system - it picks up dust very easily, is light weight, user friendly and comes with a good warranty for battery.
The only small drawback is that the battery life is short and often I need to recharge it before my entire cleaning gets done!

I'd put off getting a Dyson for years because of the price, but after the drama I had with an inferior Kogan vac, I decided enough was enough and jumped at the chance to grab this when it was on sale. The only annoying thing is you have to keep your finger on the trigger to use it, so it's really only supposed to be for quick vacuum jobs. But I do my whole house with it - I can put up with a sore finger. The battery life could be longer, but really when something is this powerful what more can we ask for?

Great little vacuum, handy around the house to pick up after the kids. It’s limited to a short time frames and it is still a good idea to sweep first to pick up larger items. Very handy to clean the car and hard to reach places. A normal quality Dyson product. Bought at Aldi

I have had a number of other branded stick vacs over the years, all failed in about a year. I have now had this Dyson for longer than that and it is still going strong.

I think about the money spent on all the rest and I should have instead just put it all together and bought the Dyson. It's power is unparalleled. It cleans my rugs and lounge really well.

If i was to say anything was bad it would be that the ends of the roller bar are difficult to clean the hair out of. I always have to get a knife or scissors to cut the hair out. It's only a minor thing but from here on out, i couldn't see myself not having a Dyson.

Got this stick vac for Xmas. Love how easy it is to wipp it out and quickly vac the kitchen lounge room dinning room with no effort. Only negative I would say is having to hold down the button. Other than that great buy. Looked at the latest models but decided on this one for a number of reasons; lighter, battery recharge less, less expensive. Very happy with my purchase!

I use this vacuum for our wooden laminate floors. It’s the best thing I have ever had. Particularly useful for busy family like ours, whenever something spills we just vacuum it away without the need to get the cord plugged. It’s quite effective at picking up the dust on hard surfaces but not so good for carpets. Overall it makes our life so much easy.

2 year guarantee -Light, fairly powerful, very handy for quick vacuuming. Found out safety feature caused vac to pulsate. Should have warning in large writing - wash filter often as fine dust stops motor. Also take apart the head often to remove bits of fluff. The battery doesn't last long enough. On balance, worth buying.

I love these cordless stick vacuums. Can’t go back to the old corded on wheels type now (my old Dyson). So easy to get around, can pop out to the garage or the car to quickly vacuum something up, no problem. Only downfall is the charge doesn’t last long on Max suction & a little messy to empty. But overall I love this light weight easy access vacuum!
