Convenient & Powerful
We have a double story house with carpet, tiles and floorboards; a winning combination for exhausting house cleaning. Its a powerful vacuum that collects quite literally everything. The head collects hair without letting it go into the machine which is great for someone like me who has long hair & malts like a dog.
My only negative is that it has a 15-20 minute life span before it needs recharging (15 on max power, 20 without) & it needs emptying very regularly. Even with these however, I would still purchase it again.

Great little cleaning stick
I was surprised at the strength this little stick has.
My old vacuum cleaner was starting to show its age, so I was looking for something that was light, cordless, and did the job well.
The Dyson V7 met all the requirements and was also on sale at the time.
It's easy to manipulate, charge and empty. It has three attachments that allow you to clean carpets and get into those hard to reach areas. The stick can be removed and attachments can be applied directly to the vacuum to make a hand held cleaner of sorts.

ax Suction and Extended Run. Apparently, the Max setting drains power quickly, but I've not used it and don't see the point when the Extended Run, which lasts about twenty to thirty minutes, has enough suction power to clean efficiently. It does take some time to charge up. That's possibly one of the few downsides to the cordless vacuum. Great for an apartment. Probably not ideal for a large house.

Hello
I just wanted to check that like the V7 Animal, the V7 Cord-Free can be left in the charging station all the time without damaging the battery?
Thanks!

All Dyson V7 machines have smart electronics within the machine, battery and charger to ensure they won't overcharge.
It is recommended you leave the machine on charge when not in use, even if you haven't fully used the battery. This will ensure it is always ready for your next cleaning session. The electronics in the machine will ensure the battery charges to 100%, but not over.
We hope this helps, however if you have any further queries, please feel free to reach out to our Dyson Experts via [email protected].

Hi
What is the length of the charging cord (what maximum distance between wall mount and power point)?
Cheers

The charger cord for the V7 is approximately 1.8 metres long. That being said, to secure the charger to the wall mount, approximately 45 centimetres of the charger cord is woven through the back of the wall mount.
We hope this helps, however if we can assist further, our Dyson Experts are available via [email protected] and happy to help.

Why do the batteries keep dying ?

Because of the high power, it uses the battery quite quick .
No, its because they have a major problem with the batteries that so far to date will not do a product recall on them.

While the batteries of Dyson machines are considered consumable items, we wouldn't expect them to require regular replacement.
Should you have a Dyson machine that you are having difficulty with, or you have any queries, our Dyson Experts via [email protected] are only happy to help.
