Please press set up from your remote. Then turn off IR or infrared. The sound will automatically come out of the built-in speakers once IR is off.

Thank you for your query. We apologize for the issue confronted with the unit. We will do our best to assist you with this concern. The stuck on loading page can mean a few things. Can you please try removing the sd card and plug it in a computer to see if it can be explored still? you may also reformat the sd card. Once done, you may put the sd card back in the dash cam to see if it makes any difference. If still doing the same thing, please perform a reset on the dash cam. There should be a reset button on the unit, while its on, please press and hold it for about 5 sec. then allow the unit to reboot. If the issues persist, please let us know. We'll be happy to help further.

I have a elinz dash cam (the only number on it is 4K ?) It has worked well for a few months, now it keeps asking for a SD card to be inserted......I have tried various models and just purchased another one and the cam still asks for the card to be inserted. Can you suggest anything ?

Thank you for your query. If the unit keeps on asking for sd card, it means it can not detect the sd card inserted to it, try pulling out the sd card and insert it on a computer to see if the pc can read it. if it can, try formatting the sd card from there then try again on the dash if it can now read it after the format. You may also try a different sd card class 10 type to see if its really an sd card issue. Please let us know if the issues persist by sending us an email to [email protected] We are happy to assist.
Hello, thank you for your reply. My normal procedure is to download files from the dash cam on to my computer, then format the card before re-using it. I have tried many other cards ranging from 16GB to 64 GB without success. As soon as the dash cam is switched ON or is connected to a computer, it asks for the SD card to be inserted. Disappointed as it worked well for a few months.

Thank you for the reply. There could be an issue with the sd card reader from the unit but we need to have that checked. Please send us an email on [email protected] so we can further assist you with the warranty. Normally you can also set the unit to do loop recording so you don't need to delete from the card manually as the loop record or record interval set will just record over the files there once it gets full.
My dome lights in my CR15T will not turn off, any suggestions?

Thank you for your query. Please check where the Door wire (grey) is getting power from, normally it is dependent on where this is linked up. once power is turned off for that, the lights will be off as well.

Does your dual dash and reversing cam have grid lines?

Just to update you on the question above. The grid lines for the camera will not show if its a small window showing on the screen they will show gridline when the reversing camera image is overwriting the whole screen, that is when the car is on reverse, and the reversing camera is getting power from the reversing light. but when the car is moving forward, when the reversing camera is getting power directly from the dash cam, it will not show gridline when the image is at the corner of the screen.
How do I turn IR on my headrest dvd player?

For the wireless headphones, please make sure that you have turned on the “IR transmission” on the headrest dvd player first,
please press on “ IR-TX” on the remote control, and select either channel A or channel B on the screen, then tune in the channel on the headphone to channel A or B as accordingly. Please also make sure that you have put battery into the remote.

Hi, we have 2 headrest DVD players in the car. 1 has stopped working and the error message says ‘no disc’. The same discs work on the 2nd headrest fine. We have selected DVD/AV/TV and it still won’t read. Any ideas please? We are travelling & need a reply ASAP please!
Penny, my only suggestion is to buy a unit from a reputable company and NOT a ELINZ unit. I have had countless issues with their products and any conversation that you have with them involves "restart to factory specs the unit' or "send it back for a service check" all done at your cost.

We have had our headrests for over two years, so I assume out of warranty? Yes, we have tried multiple dvd’s & all say the same :( we’ll clean the lense thouroughly and try again. Alex: I have no complaints about our Elinz product, they have worked very well for us, until now.

I bought an Elinz 3.2 1080p dash cam from cash of the day, camera us nice easy to install however when is on is blurry not clear enough i thought it was because it was a sunny day but then the next day was overcast and it was still blurry i have tried and play with the resolution but no luck is the camera faulty or is this the way is meant to be?

I have had an Elinz DM17 for a while, and it has worked fine. When I got in the car today, after having everything working fine only 10 mmm inutes prior, the unit came on with Japanese (?) Language and the radio stations were all reset. The speakers are making a loud buzzing noise, even when I tuned the radio in or tried an iPod.
I managed to go to EQ and turn the sub down to 0 which got the buzzing to stop, but now I have no sound other than the touch screen chimes. Any help?

Thank you for raising the issue. Please perform a soft reset of the unit by pressing and holding the reset hole infront of the unit while its ON for 3 sec. allow it to reboot then see if the issue still persist. Hi Jon, that is a good question, i thought the same about the screen been a little bright on night driving . In short I dont know and will have a look at the instructions again and/ or ring Elinz on 1800 881 773 for help on this. If we cant dull the screen manually we could consider attaching a piece of window tint to the screen.

Thank you for your query. The unit has a lamp setting that you can turn OFF and ON, the lamp settings enable the unit to see during night times. I have 2 Elinz dash cams and they are both now continually turning on and of all the time while driving along and now on one of them when going into reverse the screen wont change to full revers screen, any idea why? Brent

Thank you for your query on this matter. Please check the setting on the camera for the reversing camera, there should be an option to set the reversing camera to full screen when turned ON. My newly purchased dash cam seems to be working fine, but I can't download the videos I saved from the memory card to my computer. They all seem to have a lock on them. What do I do?

Thank you for your query. If you are accessing the video while directly connected to a pc from the dash cam, please turn OFF the G sensor from the dash cam as if that is ON the videos will have that lock sign for security. Once you have turned off the G sensor, you can try downloading the videos again. If the issue still persist after doing this, please let us know.

Hi! We have the headrest DVD players in the car and are currently traveling for a couple of months. Both screens were working fine until today! When you turn one if them on you can very faintly see the Elinz symbol, then it turns completely black. Any ideas?

May we clarify that the issue is just happening on 1 screen or both? if only on 1 screen can you please swap the power cables to see if its just that as we are suspecting its the power cable supplied. I recently bought Elinz DC dual dash can, but it doesn’t turn on at all unless it is unplugged. It even turn off straight away after I unplug it from the cigarette lighter. Is that normal or the battery is faulty? I was expecting it lasts for a couple of minutes at least.
I don't have this product. Sorry. I do however have a different brand and it turns ON when ignition turned ON. (Cigarette lighter connection). When turned OFF it runs on for about a minute to record parking function. Sounds as if you have a faulty item, BUT don't take this as gospel.

Please do an initial charge of at least 1-2hrs w/o use to juice up the battery, the battery life however is only good for memory function and for park mode, if you wish to maximize the full features of the unit, please keep it plugged in to the cigarette lighter socket as with normal dash cams out there. if you wish to have it full time with power, you can purchase the hard wired kit as an option.
I bought the Elinz camera that came with the hardwire kit, but there was no instruction that came with it on how to install the hardwire kit. Is there any user manual or instructions on how to hardwire Elinz dash camera? The hardwire kit is called "BaoLin Drive Charger."

I bought Dash Cam Dual Camera Reversing Recorder Car DVR Video 170 FHD... from Ebay, November last year. Since we started using it we have to plug it in the car all the time. Is this normal? I would thought there is a built in rechargable battery? I did wanted to recharge it at home but does not work. Is this normal?

Thank you for your query. As with regular dash cams, in order to maximize the functions and features, they really need constant power to work. So we really do advise to have them plugged in when being used. The battery on the units are normally good just for memory purposes if you are on park mode. If you wish to have continuous power to them an alternate is to purchase the hard wire kit so you don't need to unplug and re plug all the time.
H, I have the Elinz D321M17 and the radio keeps going up and down. Sounds like it's constantly changing from clear stereo sound to muffled mono sound and its annoying. How can I fix this please?
In my opinion, for what it's worth, If every other function of the unit is working correctly, I will assume you have tuned to a distant FM station. Try tuning to a local (closer) FM station. If the fault persists, you have a vehicle antenna problem or poor (bad) antenna connection to the unit.
