Actually very good.
I have an Oppo Mirror 5S and I dropped it and completely broke the screen (the display itself was broken). Oppo uses Fonebiz as their chosen repairer. After I read reviews from here, I decided not to use them, but my phone is not that mainstream so I couldn't find the parts online. I sent my phone to Fonebiz on 3/3/16, I received my quote on the 8/3 (it took me a few days to pay because I didn't have the money) and received my phone yesterday (15/3). To repair the screen it was $159.60 and I paid $9.99 to have the handset shipped away. I will defiantly use them again.
Bad
Be VERY careful before sending your phone to these thieves. They tried to quote me $583 to repair the screen. I was quoted $220 locally. They also DEMAND $50 to return your phone (or they will "dispose of it for free" - i.e. use your phone for parts). Sadly reputable companies like HTC are using these low grade companies who make significant profits by basically holding customers hostage. My handset can be bought brand new for less than their quote.
Fantastic service
My phone arrived for service - I had online access with info updates. It was returned repaired including new screen protector. Very happy highly recommend. Thank you Fonebiz
Rip off and bad customer service!
Worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Instructed by Sony to send my phone away for examination which resulted in these guys quoting me $600 for a bunch components that weren't damaged. An absolute rip off! Do not use them!!

Believe the bad reviews. Don't send your phone here unless you have no choice, i.e for warranty
3 weeks already and they haven't even looked at my Sony Xperia Z3yet. Why Sony would choose such a crap agent I have no idea, but if you can avoid using them for an out of warranty repair then do so.
Don't be tricked by their "warranty repair" for Microsoft Care Direct
I have a new Lumia 640 XL and broke its screen. I went to the Microsoft Care Direct website and filled the details and was instructed to send the phone for repair. A few days later I got an quote from fonebiz which is about $150 because they think it's a non-warranty repair. The new phone only cost around $250 so there is no point to repair it. I tried to get my phone back but they said I have to pay $50 "inspection fee." So literally as soon as you send your phone for warranty repair, you'll be charged for at least $50 if you want your phone back, otherwise they'll get your phone parts. Is this how they earn money?
I complained to the Microsoft Care Direct and they contacted Fonebiz and had them repaired my phone as "warranty repair". One tip: if you are not happy with them, complain to Microsoft, Sony, Samsung directly.

Incompetent and liars. Avoid their service
Sony referred me to this useless company for warranty reasons (they are nominated repair agents for Sony). I have sent back the phone 4 times in the last 3 months they still haven't managed to fix my phone. They are rude and Ignorant and more than all they are incompetent. Sony doesn't want to replace the phone despite making a promise to replace it. I will never buy a Sony product ever again nor will I use Fonebiz

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE
My phone company OPPO referred me to use this company for warranty sake; although twice submitted, FoneBiz did not fix the problem - faulty camera. After submitting the hp to the OPPO centre instead, they took the liberty to use FoneBiz again.. Currently, I'm waiting too long without a change in 'repair status' on the FoneBiz website. Total time to fix hp - 1.5 months and still waiting, on top of several unnecessary postage costs.
My second outdated phone has now become my primary hp =(

Incompetent And Ignorant
Shocking. I gave them a full triage of what I had tried and failed to do to fix a rebooting issue with my phone. They responded that they would try step 1 -- downgrading to an old, outdated and unsupported version of stock android -- and entirely ignored my reply that it would not help.
It did not. They held my phone to ransom for $50, ignoring my requests. Now $50 short I have a downgraded phone with the same problems.
Avoid them. They are horrible.

Excellent service, friendly custome service representative.
Sony phone fell out of pocket and smashed front screen. Sony directed us to Fonebiz. We initially phoned Fonebiz and was pleasantly surprised as to the speed the call was answered and the friendliness of the customer service representative. We sent the phone, expecting it to be gone for a considerable amount of time. Throughout the whole process of repairs, we were kept up to date by the same customer service representative that we initially contacted (she was absolutely amazing). The turn around time from when we sent the phone in to when we g...
Read moreot it back was just over two weeks (phone looked brand new), screen protectors arrived with the phone. If we could give 10 stars we would. We have dealt with many companies over the years regarding technical equipment, Fonebiz standards and service is exceptional. Thank you.- 2 reviews

Shut the door before I got service
I took my Xperia z3 to the villa wood branch, I spoke to someone on the phone to tell me the price for a screen replacement, I got told $250 I asked if there are any hidden cost and was explained no.
I drove 1 hour 30 minutes to get there and was disappointed to find out by some guy that it isn't $250 and that the price can rise up. I don't know how the cost of the screen can rise up, all costs shouldn't inflate within a week. I then left with the same broken phone and a big disappointment.

Don't get scared of the reviews.
My Sony Xperia battery went bust. Sony directed me to Fonebiz. Before sending my phone in to fonebiz. I read the reviews and it scared me alot. I was not looking forward having to deal with fonebiz based on the reviews i read. I was expecting the absolute worst thing to happen. I got it repaired under warranty, they replaced some parts under waranty and phone returned to me within 7 days. I sent it to them on the friday and i received it back on the following friday. So it took exactly a week and that was including the postage time. The phone c...
Read moreame back clean with no scratches. Overall. Very happy with the service and I was worrying about nothing. Judging by my experience and the other bad reviews. I speculate that these people might only give good service if phone is under warranty and if it's not under warranty. they do bad because they did excellent service on me and mine was under warranty.Find out how Fonebiz compares to other Phone / Computer Repair Services

They go the extra (several) miles
Sent my phone in for repairs after the motherboard gave up (a not uncommon fault in Nokia Lumias, I later found, so if you own this phone, back up *everything*). It's over two years old so I wasn't expecting a warranty repair but since nothing matches a 1020's 41MP camera I was resigned to paying for it, and ticked the "no warranty" box.
Initially Fonebiz quoted $350, but to my initial consternation I logged on to their site to find the job had been cancelled. Turns out Fonebiz had put in the extra effort to investigate whether it was a warr...
Read moreantable repair and it was. I'm thus $350 better off, with an "as new" (albeit 2 year old tech) phone. I could not be more delighted. It's rare enough to find someone who gives a damn enough to do as they're asked these days, let alone a firm which goes out of its way to create happy customers. I unhesitatingly recommend fonebiz to anyone; even if your repair isn't covered by warranty, clearly fonebiz aren't just after your money and would fix your issue at the lowest possible cost. And the quality of their work is exemplary, too. Now to try and retrieve all the data spread across "the cloud"...- 15 reviews

Xperia Z3 rear glass manufacturing defect
My brand new Sony Xperia z3 developed a crack in the rear glass for no apparent reason in the first 48hrs of owning it. Vodafone were extremely unhelpful & my only course of action was to get it fixed through Sony warranty which meant sending it to Fonebiz which I wasn't happy with after reading horror stories on this forum. The service from fonebiz was quick & well handled with my phone being couriered back to my address within 10 days of sending it. My phone repair is adequate & the service is good. If this happens to you then dont panic if your phone has to be sent to Fonebiz for repairs. You'll most likely be happy with the repair.

There is only one word for the type of service the supply: Flawless
There is really no other way to describe a company with such efficiency. I personally would be the example of a terrible customer, first not being able to make the payment on time, then taking nearly 2 months to transfer the funds along with other minor grievances. However despite these situations Fonebiz handled them with the upmost care and professionalism getting my phone back to me within a week of payment confirmation. Flawless.
faultless service
The service I received was faultless. My phone was fixed and returned in about a week. The warranty was honoured due to fault with phone. The customer service from sally Thai was excellent.
My Sony Phone fixed before my holiday!! Thank you!!
My Sony Xperia E1 broke down the weekend before Easter long weekend, I brought my phone into Fonebiz for fixing as per Sony's instruction. I was very worried after reading all the negative comments regarding the company, as I was due to go on holiday the following week and I'd like my phone back before then, which leaves Fonebiz 5.5 working days to look at and fix my phone.
I did call up over the next few days to find out what is happening to my phone, and was still quite worried as the job status never changed for my job number. Rang up ag...
Read moreain after the Easter long weekend to find out the status of my phone, they ended up creating a new job number and getting it look at straight away. They managed to fix the phone up for me to pick it up the day I due to leave for my holiday, which I am very glad about. I'd like to say thank you for that fast turn around service as per required.- Verified
Help required and freely given
When I received my replacement phone, it was locked and regardless of the numerous calls made to the phone manufacturer or to my mobile phone provider I was going around in frustrating circles. I finally contacted FONEBIZ customer services to whom my original phone had been sent for repair and was greeted by a very polite and understanding operator who took 2 days to resolve my issue which by that time had been ongoing for approx 4 weeks. I was very relieved that FONEBIZ listened and resolved my issue rather than simply say the right things but do nothing.
THANK YOU FONEBIZ.

about average
I sent a HTC desire smartphone away for repairs under warranty and it came back after about 3 weeks just fine then after a week it started to give me trouble though it wasn't their fault / the technology experts really know what they are doing there though they are too serious there and not as friendly as they should be / my advice is to take your time and buy a good phone to begin with so that there is less chance someone needs to take a phone to repaired at least for the first 3 months
I also bought a HTC generation 4 smartphone from there which I didn't like that much / I have found that someone needs to spend 600 dollars or more to a reasonable phone that won't wreck up in a hurry

Poor service
Telstra uses these guys and they are not pleasant to deal with.
They couldn't find my phone in the warehouse so I had to prove delivery of the item. Then they took several weeks. Then they sent out a blanket email that they would wipe the data, even though this was unnecessary for a screen replacement.
Problem with the process is you have to wait a few weeks for Fonebiz, and only then can you start your correspondence with Sony. Too long for a device that may be critical for your work.

Surpassed my expectations
I needed my Sony Xperia Z3 repaired, and was advised by Sony that the only place that could repair it and ensure it was water proof again was Fonebiz. I'd read the reviews here and was so nervous about sending my phone to them that I procrastinated for weeks, agonising over whether to take it to the local store or send it to them, as they both quoted the same price. It was really reassuring to have an online tracking system, so I could check where the phone was up to with it's repairs - the only downside was I wasn't contacted with a final quot...
Read moree - so after a few days of not hearing from them I followed it up, was emailed a quote, which I paid and within 4 days the phone was not just repaired, but delivered to my door! All up the phone was away for a little over a week. The service was great, the communication was good with the exception that I did have to call to remind them to send me a quote. The phone has been back for a few weeks and is in absolutely perfect condition. I couldn't be happier.- 9 reviews

Absolutely horrible, incompetent company
Absolutely, utterly incompetent. I had a HTC One M7 that developed a fault (network radio failure). You can read my review of that phone if you click on my profile. Short story - I took 4 attempts for them to fix the problem, with the eventual fix being a shoddily assembled refurbished replacement. The first 3 times it was "repaired" it returned with the exact same problem, plus additional problems, such as a screen that lifted out of the phone chassis, and a faulty lock button and protruding volume rocker.
For the life of me, I could not ta...
Read morelk to anybody from the company. I was on hold for nearly an hour before I gave up the first time, half an hour the second time, before I realized I was wasting my time trying to talk to them. When I finally was sent a refurbished replacement, I was not surprised to see that it was of poorer quality than my original device. It heats up, battery drains within a day (device restored back to stock with no apps installed by the way) and again, protruding volume rocker and gouges around the end of the phone where I assume they have pried the device open to install second hand parts from other donor devices. Please, please avoid this company like the plague if you want to get your smartphone repaired correctly and without damage. If they are the accredited repairer for the brand of phone you bought or the retailer you bought it from, demand that it be sent elsewhere. You will not get satisfaction from this arrogant, incompetent company.
