Absolutely disgusting
I have never ever delt with such disgustingly rude people in my life, after spending over $2000 they still have the audacity to hand ball off all the issues they have caused.
Not to mention the gentleman at their Dandenong warehouse..
These people should not work in customer service.
I will be warning every one I know to never ever step foot in that store.

Very Bad Company
I was sold a very expensive Tempura mattress and after 18 months I was suffering back pain and extreme discomfort. When I asked the store what the problem was they referred me to Tempura who immediately asked the type of base it was on, which is an innerspring base, they replied that was completely wrong and it must be on a slatted base, and quote "said that is the same as sleeping in a Hammock". has deteriorated being used on the wrong base. When I approached the store all they could say we will sell you a slatted base. Of course they should have known this in the first place and deny responsibility for not advising that a Tempura mattress must have a slatted base. The least they should do is supply a base for free. The staff at this store were extremely rude and the obviously don't know there products. I am now stuck with a $3500 mattress which is useless. When I contacted Forty Winks head office they promised to have a manager call me back in a few days to address the problem, that was six weeks ago. Promised to exchange and didn't
I made the purchase instore paid in cash with in 6 months my bed has sunk, i called to get a new mattress as promised they told me they had never seen it sink and disfigure that bad. They wanted me to pay $300 for pick up and deliver it back but they wouls only refermish it not replace it. Sales men gave me his word they would swap over to problem. Crap company extremely disappointed never go back.

They lie about delivery
I went to one shop in cheltham they said it would take up to 2 weeks for delivery 3 weeks went by then I called and they said it would be another 3 weeks I then cancelled my order then called another forty winks and again the told the same old tale and they have now called me this morning that it would now not be in till the end of October I will never buy a bed off these guys again they are a joke.

lie about delivery date
We recently purchased a bunk bed for our 8 yr olds birthday present.
we were told delivery would be 1-2 weeks which was perfect because we needed the bunk in 3 weeks.
2 and 1/2 weeks went by with no word from Forty Winks, my husband called them, to be told its actually going to be another 3 weeks before delivery, they hope....
We did end up getting a refund after an argument, which was better than nothing, but the promised bunk bed for our daughter was not going to happen.
If they had just been honest from the start we would have been able to source another product from another store.
Anything to get a sale!!!!!

Terrible service
Shopped for bedroom suite, Forty Winks Nunawading store. Went to sales counter to get a price and first woman i spoke to palmed me off to another woman who looked quite displeased to have to actually serve me. Asked for price. She gave me a estimate and not much else in the way of being welcoming or polite or even trying to sell it to me.

Scum of the earth
My wife suffers from neck pain when she wakes up, and is always trying to find a more comfortable pillow. She tried a Tempur pillow at the Forty Winks stand at the home show and liked it. We bought two, for $387, but when we got home we realised that we had been sold a different model to the one we had tried at the home show. The pillows were much thicker, harder and heavier. We took them back to the South Wharf Forty Winks store as per the card that the salesman had given us when we bought the pillows, to try and exchange them for the same model we thought we were buying, but were refused. Never deal with these thieves.

Don't do it!
My partner and I weren't told that deposits weren't refundable AFTER we put a deposit down, if we had have known this, we wouldn't have put the amount on that we did. Now trying to get our money back due to unforeseen circumstances, "we should have known it wasn't refundable"because its implied, apparently. Worst service ever.
I have purchased a bed in 2008 or 9 the bed is sinking so I want it fixed when I went to Forty Winks they have nothing on their system their systems are on book in the new age they don't have computers everything's logged in books and they don't want to go back and see when I purchased it when I did purchase they were so helpful and nice when I went back they were such a smart crap .do not purchase any goods from here as there behind in technology and they will not give you your warranty because they can't find anything their services so poorly ranked and I would not give any stars for these guys because they don't even try to help you out what's the point having 10 year warranty when they don't have any information on you bloody crap..

Amazing! Eltham Forty Winks
We purchased a premium end mattress and base recently, with the help of the most professional, understanding and pleasant salespeople at Forty Winks Eltham! Not only were they knowledgeable, but their customer service and the amount of care they had to ensure we chose the right mattress, was exceptional. Back problems no more!
I had a serious accident two years ago which left my right side of my body in constant pain and a broken spine which I still need physio for. I went into my local forty winks store and was helped by the staff there who were excellent on giving advice for what I needed. We spent over an hour going through mattresses and ended up buying a mattress which I upsized to a queen mattress and only had to pay the price of a single mattress. Happy chappy!

Horrible customer service.
I went looking for a new mattress at the knox store told salesman what and wanted and he just directed me to sale stock he was trying to get rid of. Then when I didn't purchase a mattress that instant he muttered what a waste of my time as he walked away very rude.

We have had problems with our mattress for over 5 months and the only customers you look after are the ones giving you money.
We will never shop at any of your stores again. Biggest waste of time and money, while our backs are being damaged you don't help.

Worst Ever Furniture Shop - Please refund the money
we bought a bed room suite and a mattress for a total of $5000.00 in Mid -September which should be delivered in end of October, however when we called the warehouse we were told that they had a manufacture delay and could not deliver our items till Feb 2016,so we wanted to cancel the order and go elsewhere to get a bed. however out of the blue i received a call next day stating they have the goods and ready to be delivered in first week of November so I agreed to that, at the end nothing arrived nor received a call from anyone from fourty wink...Read more
s, so we called them again and was told that goods will be delivered within another weeks time, finally we received wrong goods on the 12th Nov 2015, ( Wrong Material, wrong color, wrong bed size, worn out dressing table - maybe floor stock) we contacted the store again they were going to send the correct items again on the same day 13 May 2015, however without surprise they delivered wrong items again !! Finally after talking with warehouse Manager Wayne he took all the items back and was told that we will receive a call from operations manager to organize a refund but we never received a call from anyone. we will never ever go to this shop again nor recommend it to anyone else. we are quite stressed about all this and totally dissatisfied. Tempur Mattress.
We purchased this mattress after telling the sales person who was the manager of the store that I'm getting hot flushes with menopause. I'd had my old mattress for over twenty years and was making me sweat at night. He highly recommended the Tempurer mattress stating him and his wife had that one. I would rather my old one back because for one I would still have my money and another this mattress is way hotter than my old one. Waking up all through the night from being so hot. Same as the pillow, same make as the mattress, had bought all my mattress's from Fourty Winks in the past. Not anymore!! The things that were thrown in, weren't ended up paying for them.

Great.
Great service, well made furniture, timely service (was ready earlier than expected) and delivery was fast and efficient. Bit pricey, but the products are very well made. Would definitely buy from here again.

Could have been better
Even though I found what I was after, I was not happy with the customer service. The staff (specially the males) were cold and lacked enthusiasm. When I asked for some specific information about a kids bedroom, I felt as if I was bothering. Hello! I'm the customer spending money in your store!

Horrified customer service.
We asked if our bed can be delivered before 2pm, because I had to pick my daughter from school. I was told someone from the store would ring me to confirm in the morning if this bed could be delivered before 2pm. No one rang in the morning. And we left home at 11am. Then delivery truck came at lunch time while I was not at home. Store manager accused me not wait for delivery and asked me to pay the double delivery fee. I tried to tell him that I didn't receive the phone call as I was told on the phone to confirm the delivery time, he wouldn't listen. He interrupted me and insisted that I misunderstood the phone conversation. He was rude on the phone. I couldn't image how he can be a manager.
