Hotondo Homes Greater Port Stephens
The sales team were very attentive & helpful.
Emma our client liaison was extremely helpful and very switched on, very pleased we had her looking after us. Emma went above and beyond to help with picking up our keys due to us not being local, she allowed us to meet her outside standard office hours.
We did not have much contact with the site supervisor apart from arranged inspections, for some reason we were directed to deal with the office only. Supervisor did change during our build and we never actually got to see the replacement supervisor ...Read more
- we were surprised for our final inspection he didn't turn up, we arrived to be greeted by a maintenance staff member. The build was completed quickly, approx 4.5 months. Majority of the workmanship was to be expected from a project home, however there were many things that should have been picked up by the supervisor & fixed prior to handover. These things we will be raising on our maintenance list. Brickwork at the back porch wasn't quite right, it was out of alignment (outside of tolerances) but they did provide a solution quickly to form up additional concrete and tile the porch at their cost to remedy it. Similar front steps were missed off plans, however they provided these at no additional cost to us in order to comply with BCA standards. We were pleased that we chose Hotondo due to it being franchised, it meant a smaller office/team to liaise with and it did feel a bit more of a personal approach for building our new home.

Choosing hotondo was the best decision we made!
Our building experience is coming to an end. Choosing Hotondo was the best decision we made not only do we have a beautiful home but a quality home.
Our experience with Hotondo has been a positive one, and pretty much stress free. We would like to express our thanks to the Hotondo team involved in our build, also a big thank you to Madeline who has helped us all the way through.

Build completing was ahead of time. Site supervisor was very thorough with the walk through inspections. Our client service officer was very helpful all throughout the build. Overall pretty good service.

The subject matter expertise of the Hotondo staff at the design stage was second to none, arming us with the required information and alternatives to support our decision-making process. Throughout the build process we had exceptional interaction with the site manager and the office staff to keep us updated on the progress of our build. It must be highlighted in particular the quality control of the site manager, who consistently displayed traits demonstrating his pride in workmanship for the product that he was delivering on behalf of Hotondo. Our walk-through meetings were always conducted on time and he was more than welcoming to offer advice and guidance on future projects that we would plan to pursue in the future. Overall, we could not have been more thrilled with the experience that we have had with building with the Greater Port Stephens Hotondo Homes team, and would highly recommend anyone beginning on their own building experience to consider their range.1 comment

Amazing Experience with Hotondo Homes
From start to finish, we had a great experience with the Hotondo team. Everyone was so helpful and informative along the way. We recently completed our handover and the quality of the build was above expectation. The whole process was a lot quicker then we had expected too, which was great, and the quality was not sacrificed one bit, everything turned out beautifully. Terrible experience hotondo RAYMOND terrace
I am near The end of my build with hotondo Port Stephens I would not recommend them due to the issues that I have had with them.
They have built my house so far out of standard and have been told by that I will be unable to get an occupancy certificate unless it’s rectified. [name removed] has refused to communicate with me to resolve the matter I am now having to fight through the courts.. all I have asked that my house is built to the Australian standards as every house should be.

Hotondo Homes Greater Port Stephens provided a fast quality build
We found the display home at Thornton great & the sales staff awesome! Very helpful with all my questions. Our build went smoothly & any issues we may have had were quickly handled by Maddie in the office. We received regular updates from Maddie & our project manager Brett was available when we needed him.
We are very happy with how quickly our home was completed.

was always clean and tidy when we went for our inspections throughout the build, the workmanship was always done beautifully and Brett our Build Supervisor was always very polite and informative. Very reliable, nothing was ever an issue. All questions were answered in a timely manner.
We've been very happy with all aspects of our build. Any issues were sorted promptly. Our main contacts were more than happy to answer any of our questions.
We were happy with our final inspection, no major issues were found and any that were are being sorted.
The final cost was comparable to what we were quoted, only a couple of variations, but these were well explained.
