ABYSMAL CUSTOMER SERVICE - DARWIN HYUNDAI
Vehicle needed major repairs - had to demand a loan vehicle which took 2 days to organize with inconsiderate and unhelpful staff. I had 10 minutes to collect a loan vehicle - I live rural and was at least half hour away and was told: I can't wait around for half an hour. I knock off at 5pm and I've got things to do. Be here at 7.30am tomorrow to collect vehicle". I had to demand the courtesy bus to take me to the rental vehicle as staff did not offer. I still have not received copy of the service record after numerous phone calls and emails. I do want to upgrade with another Hyundai Sante Fe - BUT NOT FROM DARWIN HYUNDAI - it will be worth a trip interstate.

False Advertising
I booked in for a $135 service online to arrive in store and be charged $275 apparently due to an error on the system. I later called the Hyundai care team who said they were going to do nothing about it, which I highlighted was false advertising and the man was quite rude, dismissed what I was saying and refused to let me speak to any management.

Hyundai South Morang - Un-courteous Service
Poor service and not courteous. I booked for some parts repairs on my Hyundia i30, was given a time for 9:30am. On reaching there, the service person asked me to come back at 12:30..... and also surprised me by saying that they will charge $140 just to have a look. This was not told before on the phone while booking. I feels like they are not interested in small service but since they are Hyundai dealer we are locked with them for Hyundai part. Such a bitter experience from a company that is striving to be best at their cars.
Previously, I have been dealing with Dandenong Hyundai for service and parts repairs. They are such a cheerful and friendly bunch of people. Very very opposite to South Morgan ones.

Terrible customer service
I was charged for a service that was never completed and the service lady insisted that it had been done and that I had to pay for it using threatening words. Staff have a sense of entitlement, are rife and don't really care about customer satisfaction.

Shocking after sales service
If I could have given zero starts I would have.
Our 1 year old Veloster required a new gearbox. Agreement was reached between the dealer and Hyundai to pay for a hire car whilst it was off the road as no loan vehicles available. The Hyundai manager reneged on the agreement. I'm still waiting for the refund 6 months later form and banking details supplied but they will anot return emails or calls... I'm constantly chasing them. When I called them again today (second call of the day) I've been told today it will be another 2-3 weeks (if I'm lucky!).
Disgraceful service. The staff really don't care. STAY CLEAR OF THEM!

Terrific service!
New car salesman Greig Malvenan was very helpful and friendly without being pushy.
The idea of keeping our new car under wraps - before the big reveal - was a nice touch!
Greig will definitely be the salesman I contact should we need another car.
The only thing I was a little disappointed in was - fuel tank only half full on delivery!

Awful customer service
Recently had our car serviced and expressed concern afterwards over some of the items inspected/replaced. When I was contacted back by the dealership, the representative gave the impression that the phone call was something to cross off his 'to-do' list and when I explained my concerns, he actually said to me, "you sound like you're ready to walk away", yet made no attempt to fix the situation (asking me to bring the car back and they'll check it would have been helpful and simple!) or address the problems I had mentioned. Appalling attitude. W...Read more
hen I tried to contact management about the awful customer service and the still unresolved vehicle service elements, the email address I was provided with bounced back as didn't exist. After making numerous attempts to get in touch with management since then still about my concerns, I've heard nothing back. Incredibly disappointed and they've lost a once loyal customer.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

THankyou Jake and Hyundai
I would like to thank all the staff at Werribee Hyundai Service particularly Jake for their service and help over the last few weeks. A couple of months ago I got into a minor accident in my car and I was told by my insurance to go to a panel shop/mechanic in the Sunshine area. First of all it took 3 weeks to "fix" and when I did finally get it back I almost immediately noticed a loud banging and scraping noise but as it was the weekend I did all I could by calling my insurance after hours number and leaving the details, I didn't hear from them...Read more
for a few days and in this time the problem got worse. Therefore this day after work I decided to take it into Werribee Hyundai. From that day onward Jake has been amazing helping me thru the process to get my car fixed and letting mew know step by step what is happening. I thoroughly recommend WH and their service department if you ever have any car issues.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Purchased a Hyundai i30 2016 model on Saturday and very good customer service. Was extremely happy with salesman Manuel Fernandez. He was excellent and made everything very easy for me. Will certainly spread the word.

Bad new car experience
We purchased a new Elantra from this dealer who obviously was careless with a pre delivery inspection. We handed over our hard earned money, drove the car out of the dealership, within 45 minutes I turned the air conditioner on, only to realize it is not working.
Within 2 hours of picking up the new car, it was already at the dealership's workshop to have the air conditioner compressor replaced.
Not only did I drive the car out of their yard with a faulty air conditioner but also with 6 months registration when I was entitled to 12 months as per Hyundai's promotional offer.
As a returning customer, they took advantage of my trust in them and abused it.
These guys won't be getting any business from me again.

Giant thumbs down
Stay away.
You will do far better going elsewhere for your Hyundai.
A complete waste of my time. They are not one bit helpful. Was interested in buying the new i30N.
Do you think I’d get someone interested enough to show me through it and offer me a test drive?
Nup!
They all made up their minds early in the piece that I was not a prospective buyer. Well little did they know, I wanted to buy one for my sons 21st birthday. Will now go elsewhere. Plenty of other dealerships to go to.
Nunawading, all those bad Google reviews about you say it all. Time there for new management and new salesman that will show respect to the potential purchaser.

Rubbish
Full of lies, time taken to do a service, grease / oil all over car body, damaged window tint, broken inside mirror, and both sun vises, lied to about service price, told a major service is required and need car all day ( 4 hours on Sat is not enough time). Get to dealer to hand car in for major service and find out car was only serviced 6000 km and 12 months ago. Chose to do a minor service this time and saved $400 and 10000 km / + 12 months before the major service is required. Reported a number of faults and not fixed. The speedo would stick...Read more
and not move while driving. Speedo read 40 Kmph and Tacho was reading 3500 RPM ( in 5th gear) and car beside me doing 100kmh. They kept saying that speedo was all ok and nothing wrong until i produced the photos ( X 5 pictures) and threatend to take it to the media.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Customer service and the car from hell !!!!!!!
I bought the I20 in September 2015. Few weeks later radio failed - it took them a whole week to fix it and in the process they damaged the outside frame, when I mentioned that, the guy shrugged his shoulder saying "this happens"(!!!) The first service (on warranty) was ok. Earlier in April 2018 I've noticed a strange noise coming from the engines - took it to Zapps and left there for them to check. It also needed a scheduled service. At the end of the same day they said I need to live it with them because it would take a week (!!!!!!) to find...Read more
out what the the problem is. I asked for a curtesy car = "don't have any"(!!) I said I need to get to my regular volunteering work (he shrugged his shoulders "who cares" attitude). I asked for a quote which came to $ 1300 (!!!!) After a week my husband gave them a call to check if we can collect the car. A customer service woman said the car is being washed at this moment so we can collect it this afternoon. Went there and told the customer service guy about the call, he said that the car is NOT ready, that there is something else they need to check. The woman who we spoke with admitted it was her who told us to collect the car. We walked out of the Service Department and still waiting for a call. Zapps have recently redeveloped their premises - a lot of our money were spent on it. costomer service is ZERO stars!!!!!!!!!!! I WILL NEVER GO TO ZAPPS AND NEVER BUY ANOTHER HYUNDAI.Similar opinion? Good car, shame about the service.
I bought a Kona from Keema Hyundai springwood a month ago. This was my first Hyundai, and while time will tell if there will be another, one thing is certain I will not buy another car from Keema. They made buying a new car such hard work. As soon as I'd signed up, I felt I became an annoying inconvenience. Simply getting through by phone is enough to test your patience. Must be good to run a business that doesn't need customers eh? I bought the car at Keema because it was the closest dealership to me, but the servicing will be done somewhere else, anywhere else. Does Hyundai send out customer satisfaction surveys? Or it as I suspected, they don't care once the cheque clears....

Hi, I just bought my first Hyundai, a Kona. I've had the car for about a month now, does Hyundai send out customer satisfaction surveys? Or is it as I suspected, they don't give a damn once the cheque has cleared.....

DEFINITELY NOT THE ONE I DEALT WITH (Zupps). When I went to pick up my car (after 9 days!) I asked the customer service guy for a car key to check what they've done, he at first didn't want to give me the key, only when I said I will not pay until I check what they've done he hesitantly handed me the key. It's been now 2 days, all seems to be ok. for now. Good luck, hope your experience will be better.

You should never go to Zupps !!
Hyundai Northside is the place to go- bought several cars from them and the service and aftercare is A+.. Sun Heo (the sales guy) even gave me a follow up call the next day and following week to see how everything with the car was going and make sure I was happy. They also sent a customer survey the day I picked up the car which was independent of that dealership.

how do you make a formal complaint to Hyundai? I can't find an email address...
2 answers
You need to go onto Hyundai australia's desktop website.
Down the bottom is a contact us section where you can select warranty etc to email them.
Always remember that you will catch many flies with honey and none with vinegar so be diplomatic and factual. I know from just a general enquiry in my case it took a month for a reply so chill for a reply.
Hope this helps :)
Many Thanks for your response.. We tried both Honey and Vinegar with no success... Judge Judy our next hope :)
Love the car though service has been so poor I could not recommend a Hyundai to anyone due to lack of service..
