Why does your company have no morals or ethics, do you understand people are now unemployed and can’t pay bills yet you won’t refund policy’s or give credit

Hi Mark, I understand you are upset, and would recommend you go through the formal channel for complaints, which is to email your policy number to [email protected]. Thanks, Anna

Hi Anna, a couple of questions in relation to our 2 month trip to the US. We bought your insurance on 28 Jan (so before the cut-off) & we leave 8 April. Assuming there’s no DFAT alert for the US before we go, are we covered for Corona related medical expenses when we are in the US (I’m assuming we are covered but just want to check)? What happens if we can’t get back for some time due to a Corona related matter (maybe cause we are sick or Oz closes its borders, etc, etc) does the policy automatically extend beyond the anticipated return date? Is there a limitation on this? Thanks in anticipation. Colin

Hi Colin, thanks for reaching out. I can confirm that since your policy was purchased before the 4:00pm 31st January cut off, your polic does not exclude cover for coronavirus related claims. Regarding the cover available if your travel is affected by coronavirus in the ways you have detailed, the information under the heading 'Section C2 - Additional Emergency Expenses', on page 31, of the PDS https://www.insureandgo.com.au/images/ig-ms-pw-ot_tcm1005-157834.pdf (presuming your policy is a one trip policy) is important in your case. The level of benefit varies based on the tier of policy you purchased. I hope this helps. Thanks, Anna
