Good price but impossible to cancel the service fro overseas
I was very happy with Jeenee and used it no problem while I was in Australia. But now that I have left Australia to the US a year ago, I need to be able to cancel my Jeenee and I cannot do it from my account nor can I call them from here (tried several times, they don't pick up the phone, and yes I have paid attention to the time difference).

Never knew a phone company could actually be awesome
I cannot recommend Jeenee enough!!
After years with the big dogs, I had enough and found Jeenee. I pay $100 less a month than I did on Telstra, I never go over my cap and the customer service is always great. Sometimes you have to wait a while on hold, but the service at the end of the wait is always top notch so I don't even care. I try to get everyone I know on Jeenee.

Awful customer service
Amazing how quick the response is on this site from the company rep, yet every one of my emails is completely ignored. OK so i got it wrong about the billing, i thought I had qualified for some data bump up promo and thought I was overcharged, turns out I wasn't. This could have all been explained to me months ago in my original emails, but no I'm left frustrated because all my queries are ignored. So I finally left the service provider and as soon as I write a review here, miraculously, I get a reply within the hour.

Absolutely no customer service
Was with this carrier for a couple of years. In the end I got fed up. They're just a shell company with a buggy website and absolutely no support. They over charged me and I couldn't contact them at all. Emails are completely ignored and their phone just keeps you on hold forever. They're just out to make a buck from unsuspecting customers. AVOID!

Good service, great plans, Charity.
Signed up for second time.Sim card took a little long to get out but got here (7 days W.A).Had small issue with signing into account however customer service on Facebook very helpful and fixed the issue promptly.Only small issue is the hours of contact center if you have a problem outside these hours as I did, however if you take into account of the value of the packages and the charity they provide its value plus.

No issues for a small company
I have a phone plan with Jeenee. No real issues. Great value for money and I like that they support disabilities. Understaffed support centre but if you call outside of the lunch rush (say 11.30-1.30) you'll get through to someone based in Australia who can help you. Overall good!

Service pretty unhelpful . Ridiculous simcard
Coverage is pretty patchy in the country. Simcards only hold 100 contacts. When i quieried this they said all sim cards are like that . Which is not true . I had over 250 contacts on my vaya sim . But didnt notice until id already thrown my old sim away . So annoyed .

Well can't comment on coverage as still awaiting Sim card tried calling customer service you wait 3/4 hr then get idiots that can't explain what you want all smoke @mirrors they don't answer emails or send them to tell you things basic bad service when it finally arrives will look elsewhere will only stay 1month the regulator should tighten up the shonky telcos they are all the same not happy still waiting for supervisor to ring that's takes 48hrs so l was told be aware of this telco

I never write reviews, but I am quite disappointed by the customer service that I never received from this company. Tried a few times to call but was put on hold for more than 10 minutes
Very good data but do not expect to obtain a response if anything goes wrong with your plan.

Great value and ethics
Their online services/app need updates/fixes, and probably a bigger support team and having to turn off auto top ups manually seems a bit opportunistic. But for such good value and fact they donate to those with disabilities should be enough reason for you to look past any minor issues and accept they're a small business doing good

DODGY company. I have a proof.
Jeenee Mobile is a dodgy company... We receive a text every month when the data consumption is around 50% and the next around 75%, text arrives in 24 hours or less.. If 25% is consumed in 24 hours or less how come the rest 75% lasts for 29 days..
This is happening for last few months but I have a proof for last 3 months, since I have change my phone.
I hope this feedback helps someone out the.

by the time it is provided to us by Optus. By law we are required to provide usage alerts when customers reach 50%, 85% and 100% of their included allowances. Unlike other companies we also provide alerts at 70% of usage (ie - 50%, 70%, 85% and 100%). We do this specifically to make sure that our customers are as informed about their usage as is possible. The amount of data that is used in a session can vary and it is possible to for a person to pass through more than one threshold in a single session (particularly if they are streaming video).Similar opinion? Great Company, Great Plans, Just a couple of caveats...
My partner and I have been with Jeenee for any years now, as they support people with disabilities, and we have a nephew with Down's Syndrome, so the cause is close to our hearts. Also, they're a Optus reseller, and any service I can have that doesn't put $$$ in Helstra's pockets is fine by me.
Unfortunately my current plan has been grandfathered, so I'll need to stay on it until they boot me from it.

le: I purchased a new android handset to replace one with a broken screen, which required a nano SIM card. My current SIM was standard and micro only, it had no cutout for nano. I requested a replacement SIM via Jeenee's website, filling out the form, hitting submit and then I waited... and waited... and 2 weeks later, with a phone who's warranty was ticking away on the shelf, and my current handset with a broken screen, I gave them a call. The support representative I spoke with was excellent, and, as always, friendly, but they had no record of my online SIM replacement request. None, not a single reference of it ever being logged. Going by other reviews, some other people have had issues with their online services also. Also, when I tether to my phone to perform testing for internet connections outside of my work's corporate WAN, they block all SSL VPN traffic, which makes testing and adjusting things for work tedious, as I have to drive home to test outside connections. I only want to test connections from my desk, not use the service as a full VPN tunnel. Apart from those 2 gripes, they're a great service provider.Similar opinion? So good to speak to an Australian!
I've used this product for more than 6 months now and have had no issues with it.
Everytime I call the support, I get put through to their Sydney call centre. The person on the other end of the phone has always resolved my problems immediately.
I signed up on the $22.50/m contract which gives 6.5 GB and unlimited call and credit.
The online system is easy to use an set up. I pay in advance, they add it to my credit, and I never get over charged.
Recently they added a few when you change contract, that is the only downside.

Used to be great but the've lost their original focus/purpose
I've been with Jeenee for a long time and have 5 services with them.
I put the whole family on Jeenee due to their commitment to helping others
When i joined 5 connections resulted in a donated service - I helped somebody
If the kids went over with the Data, I paid the high cost rather than looking for a cheaper provider as I knew it was helping someone.
The Staff (employed In Australia) were and still are brilliant but have been abused by the workload placed upon them.
They currently advertise over 200 donated services (21/09/18) - What a Joke
It should be at least 10 times that.
Please focus on the people that need you - not the people the want a cheap deal

Ultimately disappointed with 0 customer service
I never write reviews, but I am so astonished by the customer service I received (or in this case- did not receive at all), from this company. Called but was put on hold for 4-5 minutes to only have an automated voice tell me that no one was available to take my calls. Wrote in twice through the 'Contact Us' tab under the website concerning the invoice I received for that month and it's been 3 weeks but still NO reply to be seen. Good data but horrible customer service. If anything goes wrong with your plan, don't expect to get a reply from the team.

Decent plans but if anything happens expect zero service!
My phone got stolen so I had to get a new sim only to be hit with a $15 sim replacement fee... This is ridiculous a sim does not cost $15 to replace, every telco out there replaces it for free.

They take customer service seriously
We have had several mobile phone contracts with Jeenee. They offer very competitive prices and their customer service is excellent and Australia based. Their billing is transparent and the one issue we had was amicably resolved with a trouble free refund.

If youre out of contact, like most providers, there should be no fee to move elsewhere. Once you have the new sim from the new provider I would assume the plan stays straight away.

Once your 12-month contract has expired, you can choose to stay on your existing plan, move to a newer in-market plan with us =, or to port out to another provider. As long as your contract has expired there is no cost to do any of these options.
Hi, I did exactly above and ported my account after the contract expired. I also did exactly as your site states on its faq (do not call you to cancel the account if you are having your number ported). I find the following extract from the CIS very confusing. If payment is done via Direct Debit (automatic, I presume!!), how can you be sure that payment is made prior to due date and not on due day? Hope a Jeenee representative can answer my query. Thanks.
