Brake pads and discs needed replacing after only 27k
I needed my brake pads and discs replaced on my KIA Rio after only 27,000 km. asked KIA to replace them under warranty as it’s very unusual for both pads and discs to fail with so little km. but they refused to take any responsibility. Said it’s wear and tear and depends on the drivers. We have 2 KIAs. Both my husband and I have over 20 years of driving experience. And in our other family car the pads were replaced after 80,000km. KIA strives to present itself as a good reliable inexpensive car, with a long extended warranty. What’s the point of that if it doesn’t have a good service and the maintenance is twice as expensive and the company doesn’t take responsibility for it?

Love my Kia - backed by a great service team in Ferntree Gully
I've been slack in writing this review - it's taken 3 years.
Purchased my Kia Sorento from Kia Ferntree Gully back in 2016 and have loved the car and appreciated the service ever since.
Yesterday (26th July 2022) I took it in for the 3 year service and thought it's about time I write a review as the service is impeccable. The service team totally on the ball. As soon as I arrive they walk out to greet me with all my details on hand. 5 minutes later I'm in a free loan car for the day off to visit my own customers.

Good Customer Service, but bad servicing / fault resolution@ 45000 Kms Car Servicing at Werribee Kia
No appointments available for one week and Hard to get loan car. Was given a small Loan Car.
Advised that Bluetooth not working properly with phone & other issues relating to speakers. Complimentary outside wash was not done properly. Dash cam plugged removed but not put back.
Bluetooth issue was not resolved, break pads or break not checked properly as making a noise on stopping.
Air conditioning issue which was not present before. Got a text asking if i was happy with the service and advised that not happy. No call back or follow up.

My friend requested assistance to purchase his first new car. He had decided the Kia Sportage Si was the answer. We went to the Newcastle City Kia for a test drive. All was ok checked price and finance deal. Ok They actually said come back to us if you find a better price. My friend went to Rockdale Kia and asked for a trade price on his car. Went to inspect vehicle and took trade in vehicle. It took two and a half hours of our time and as my friend was interested in purchasing the car we started the paperwork. We were both surprised to find the purchase price jumped to $28,490. How upset would you be at this point. I pulled out the papers of where I had written down the price and details! To be told I had mixed up the numbers!!! They were looking at me like I had written down the wrong amount. [name removed] told me he was used to selling Ferrari’s Masserarti s and Lambourguinis. He appeared to feel it was beneath him to sell a KIA. We were very annoyed to spend so much time and effort on a wild goose chase. He clearly said $24 490 on the phone. We walked out! Then we decided to Travel to the next one almost an hour away at Cessnock. On the phone [name removed] had told me there was Sportage that was available for $24 990 as listed on Cars4sale.com . While we we travelling to this dealership I rang [name removed] to see if it was still available. It was but he told me two people had taken it for a test drive that day. I asked if he had taken a deposit he said no. Still traveling we were 10 k from dealer [name removed] rings to tell me he has taken a deposit over the phone!!! Are KIA dealers using this as a way to get people through the door. Disgusted with the total crap from five KIA dealerships!! Why are they making this experience such a shonky slimy difficult experience??? No one wants to hear this crap any more. KIA Sell the car not the crap!SALES AND AFTER SALES SERVICE
Bought a new Kia Cerato sports nearly one year ago from a dealership that claims to have won the best dealership for 4 years running. Also bought insurance from the same agency. Paid up front but did not receive any insurance cover even until today.
When I called the Service Department to book for the initial service, no one would answer. Left messages. No return calls. So I booked with another Kia dealership for the initial free servicing after three months.

Lucky to get 1 star!
Never have I ever dealt with such an unprofessional dealership! A female staff member with name beginning with [name initial removed] is absolutely horrible. I was in discussion with her for over a week about a car that we were coming down to travel 3 and a half hours to buy and take that day. She said it would be available for us so an app was made to come and get the car. Upon arrival she had told us “the car has sold” all while she had messaged me that morning saying nothing of the sort and when confronted with this all her excuses were “ oh...

We were happy with that! Then she continued to tell us they didn’t have any cars that were drive away and it would have to be processed ! She nevertheless once told us this over the phone or through any communication ! Then she said we could take the one on the floor for full price of $12000 more plus we had to pay for the extra paint (you think they would waive it for the issues caused) but no! We were beyond furious with this complete and utter unprofessional behaviour and attitude and even at the end she slumped over a showroom car and didn’t bother to say sorry! From the start her body language and attitude was absolutely disgusting! We went next door and bought a brand new car from them and it was the car they were after. Disappointed in quality and service
Unfortunately the 7 year warranty is not very useful when the wait list for repairs is over one month. Response to engine light coming on is to just keep clearing it. The customer service at head office was terrible.

Essendon KIA
It's been more 2 months since car purchase but total refund worth of 3000$ are still pending from KIA finance to me towards cancellation of gap insurance, loan protection insurance and schick membership.
I contacted Bank of Melbourne, Torque finance, Allianz insurance, Schmick but they all are asking me to contact Kia dealership finance team.
Gap insurance vendor says that they never received any payment towards my gap insurance from Kia fianance but same is included in my loan amount by Kia fin for which I already paid EMI with interest.. This is a fraudulent fianancial transaction.
Even after multiple follow ups no progress though I cancelled the gap insurance, loan protection insurance and Schmick member within cooling off period.

A terrible customer service, after sale service of Kia is really bad that i want to sell my car, none Of my friend or family will buy for sure.
Don’t get me wrong, I love my car Kia Optima,I think just because it’s darwin and they have only one car dealer here in Northern Territory. And they will make you feel so bad, I feel so terrible that I feel like selling it and buy a car from personal car seller. What a shame, never seen any car dealer so bad since I have been in Australia for last 6 years.

Junk car horrible service people
I purchased a brand new kia mentor years ago now.
But just saw this and thought I should share.
My car had fuse problems in the 1st week.
At 5 years it died.
I took it for repairs at kia springwood my car sat there for months I rang daily at first to just try and see if they could tell me anything then one day my husband rang and got a mechanic who spoke the same native language as my husband and discreetly told him that if I continue to call daily the boss would deliberately leave my car till last.

Stay away, be warned!!!!!
Called for warranty repairs. Was told had to wait 2 weeks if I needed a courtesy car.
Waited 2 weeks, booked service and a courtesy/loan car. When I reached there, the reception did not have any records of either!!!!
So much for efficiency!

Just bought a demo auto Picanto with very low k's. Ben took us for our test drive, and was very friendly and easy to talk to, and looked after us all the way through the negotiations and purchase. All the staff that we dealt with were friendly and professional, and the whole experience was very positive and easy.
