They charged me over $1000 to fix an a/c unit. They identified the problem but didn't have the part. They then sent me a quote for $1200 to return and fix it. I contacted another company and had the job done for $600.

They ask for your credit card number before they'll take a service booking. Once you give them that you're gone because they can add any charge to it they like without your consent.

They will charge you hundreds of dollars just for a quote without doing anything or fixing your device. After that they provide you with another quote to 'fix' your device. Completely useless and exorbitantly expensive ($1000 for one job only???!!!). You will regret for doing any business with them.

I booked for repair for my heater. they deducted $515 immediately after the booking and informed that friday they are coming to repair. Monday come but no one turned up and no one answering our ff up calls.

What an absolute disgrace of customer service. I would definitely take my money elsewhere. $5000 good for nothing. Make an appointment an turn up late. No communication why just bad luck.

I have used this company now over a couple of years. Each time they contact me and remind me that my service is due. It's up to me then if I wish to proceed or not. They don't hassle. They turn up when they say they will, they advise the price before you give them the go ahead so there is nothing left as a surprise. The technicians have always called as promised the hour prior to attending and are very thorough and polite. I would highly recommend them.

This company has not responded to 4 emails regarding an itemised account. Technician attended my home for 1 hr 10 mins. This cost was $1100. Half of that amount was deducted from my credit card without my approval. I want an itemised account.

Great customer service from the office and technician that attended my place, found the issue and had it ressolved in a few days, this will definitely be my go to heating and aircon company in the future. Got there details from a freind and couldnt be happier. Highly recommended!

Total rip off. Got charged $209 for a service. The technician attended the next day and was there for literally 15mins and while he was in the roof, i climbed the ladder to see what he was doing and he was on his phone on social media. When this was mention to the office, the office staff were very aggressive and couldn't even produce me a with what a full service consists of. Would have never booked these guys if i had seen these reviews.

Charge the call out fee of $240, show up but don;t even look at the Unit and won;t refund the call out fee. Wish I had read these reviews before booking! Find another supplier, don;t use.

In the week before Easter, we contracted with Melb Heating to service our Ducted Gas Heater, and to quote on replacing our old ducting material. The fee was $220. It all took less than 30 mins. The Gas Heater Unit service took less than 15 mins. The tech just blew out some dust as far as I could see. We received no Tax Invoice or Receipt - even after asking for one, and my request for an itemised listing of what servicing the Gas Unit entailed was ignored. Not at all value for money. No Tax Invoice/Receipt - how can that be?. Clearly we went elsewhere to have our ducting material replaced - and for a much cheaper price. Suggest you all go elsewhere too. Brian

I got my heater serviced yesterday and it's running perfectly. Very knowledgeable staff who explained exactly what the heater required. Girls in the call center also very friendly and helpful. Very happy customer.

I was actually hesitant to use melbair after reading the negative reviews however I end up calling them to fix my heater and was so happy with the service. They explained everything to me on the booking call. Have noticed a lot of these sites bring out people who expect to pay nothing but get an exception service. These technician are highly qualified and explained to me the issue with my heater in a way I'd understand. This company does deliver and even offered a flat rate fee. I'd deffinitley recommend them.

I booked a service for a clean and fix of my aircon. The technician couldn't fix it and said he would send me a quote, which is fine - I'm happy to pay for things if its more complicated. However, before they would even quote me they expected me to pay the full call-out fee despite doing nothing for it. There is no way I would use them to actually fix the unit. I regard this as a really dishonest business practice and no way to treat your customers. The sales woman told me this is how they all do business - my experience with honest tradies would suggest otherwise.

Had a technician come out and clean my air-conditioning unit. It took him 15 mins. Charged $239 call out fee. I Iater found out the going rate is $100 -$150 for a basic service.
