Brisbane Service Center- Arrogant & Condescending Staff, No Customer Loyalty, You Pay For Mistake!
Recently i took my parents 4yr old C250 for its annual service and also to have the parking brake looked at as it was bit sticky and required more effect to release. The car was picked up same day with no drama's, We were told the brake had been fixed and we needed new tyres, we declined as the car does not get much use and could get them cheaper at UltraTune at a later date.

e whole dash started to vibrate as if a tyre had punchered accompanied with loud engine noises. This lasted about 10 minutes and i pulled over to check the car, beside lots of heat coming from one wheels and burnt rubber smell i returned home safe and booked for a follow up service. We informed the service center of what happened along with the brakes where still not really fixed and the engine revs at idle were bit higher then normal. My parent were concerned because of the noise and consumption of more fuel. A staff member called my parents to inform them they could not find any issue with the car (I suspect a junior mechanic did not assumable wheels correctly the first time and thus the vibrations.) and was ready for pickup in the afternoon. They reminded them to check the parking brakes and Revs in case. So on arrival we were not expecting any charges since the service center did not do it right the first time but to our amazement they wanted to charge us ~$1100. This was for replacing a part in the parking brakes, as the original lost some tension. We had no knowledge of this and complained to the Service Manager who pointed to a report indicating we authorized the replacement. My parents denied they did as we could have lived with a sticky parking brake. I debated the issue with the Service Manager who kept insisting we approved the repairs, he was arrogant, condescending at this staged and offered no solutions insisting we were in the wrong. By now my elderly parents were upset and getting nowhere so i asked to speak to the Manger. The Service Manger proceeded into the Managers office who appeared to have conversation but i suspect it was for show. After a while the Service Manager come out and we continued the debate. The Manager did not even have the courtesy to come out and apologies or speak to us. We continued for a bit longer, with the Service Manager offering to not charge for inspecting the wheels, only ~ $110. This was totally not acceptable since we just paid ~$800 for a service the week prior and likley was not re-assumable correctly in the last service. Alternatively we could wait 2 hours as they remove the new part and replace the original of the parking brake. By now its 5pm and my parents just wanted to go home. Not happy with the outcome but generally easy going people my parents accepted the discount and finished up. Adding injury to insult as we picked up the car out front my parents noticed the Rev were still idling high and the Service Manager told us it seems they did not know too look at it as it was not on the report and they could not did anything now. Needless to say we left unhappy and i am looking for another dealer for my parents. They have been loyal customers for over 10 years and this is not their first car, and while they will not do anything about it i feel personally insulted on how they and we have been treated and hope this review leads to changes or effect their bottom line. Like most of the reviews i read here, this Dealers makes too many mistakes due to lack of internal communications and customers are blamed or have to pay for them, finally the attitude customers get for asking for better services is disgraceful. This the first time i felt we have been cheated for being loyal and honesty customers as my parents annual service cost doubled and wasted their time.Similar opinion? Very poor customer service - Alexandria
This dealership has no idea about Customer Service.
The vehicle which had been serviced by this dealership broke down and had to be towed by Mercedes Towing Assist. What occurred once it entered the dealership was one blunder after another.

text had been from Towing Assist that the car had been delivered. Every time I called to follow up, I had to explain the situation from scratch. 3. The dealership advised they were busy and couldn't determine when they could look at the vehicle. "It could be today, it could be tomorrow" 4. The dealership advised then after looking at the car there was nothing wrong with it. 5. Having picked up the car, the dealership again assured me there was nothing wrong. Half way home the engine problem occurred again and steam was coming from the bonnet. In the dark, I called them for their help. They said to video it as there was nothing wrong with the car. 6. Towing Assist has now picked the car up again for the second time in two days. The car would not even start by this time and had to be rolled onto the tow truck. My advice to MB Alexandria is to know your customers. I know the names of everyone at your dealership to whom I have ever spoken. Believe your customers - Do not ask for videos when a customer is stranded in the dark, really scared with a broken down car. Give customers timeframes and check the service reports. Liaise more with Towing Assist - Their service is exceptional. They can teach you how to provide good service. They can also provide detail on delivery of the vehicle which can help with your assessment. Mercedes is an incredible brand and that is why people pay a premium. Your dealership is certainly bringing the brand down.

Alexandria Benz dealer - bad quality product
I purchased benz c250 only few days ago but don't know why the started odo already 100km and the wipers broke down. These kinds of matter shouldn't be happened to new car, especially to expensive and famous brand like Mercedes Benz. I'm very disappointed and doubt that they possibly gave me a demo car instead of brand new one. Cheating!!!

Unsubscribe Failure
Some kind advice: Never provide your Mercedes-Benz dealer with your email address, you are not obliged to give it to them even for warranty work. The problem is they will put you on a mailing list and unsubscribes, emails and letters to their privacy department fail to rectify this.

Mercedes W205 C250 wagon
I purchased my mercedes from Geelong city motors & I am pleased to say that they & the car have been very good. I recommend any one in the region to visit this dealership & ask for Mark Harrison. After reading some of the previous posts I feel very lucky that they have looked after me. The car has now only 10000 kms on it & so far only one issue (the GPS display disappeared in hot weather) which they fixed promptly. Very happy with them.

Just bought an E200 from MB Berwick. Their service was excellent and the car is beyond comparison. Michael is very helpful and the service is very prompt. Absolutely love the car.

Hornsby Mercedes Dealer
Brought the car for service and returned with a damage, a crack on the back passenger internal side strip. Surprised to see it and brought straight away and delearship denied. Should have known better when during the first service, my car was used as a courtesy car to drop me off nearest shop. Worst experience, never again with this dealership.

Miranda Mercedes Dealer Service - Very Poor!
My car was returned with problems that it didn't have after the dealership bungled their work. I had to take the car elsewhere to have the problems that the dealer caused repaired.

Suspiciously long delay in GLC delivery.
I ordered an GLC and a GLA from Mercedes Benz Berwick in April 2016. The GLC was promptly delivered in 2weeks as it was in stock but the GLC was indicated to me for a November 2016 delivery. Three months later, I get a call telling me that I will not be getting the car till June 2017! That's right! 13 months wait! king other dealers. Eventually, I cancelled the order with Berwick and ordered the car with Silverstar motors. Silverstar motors now confirm that I will be receiving my car in March 2017. I want to warn all who are thinking of buying from Berwick MB to be careful. Get the confirm deliver date. There is a six month wait for the GLC and definitely not 13 months. Nightmare experience with Mercedes services
I had a broke-in to my place and car’s roof needs to be replaced. My car is ensured by Mercedes insurance as well. They are not able to re-assemble the car and every couple of weeks I receive phone calls that another part should be ordered from Germany as it’s not available locally. 2 parts are not even available in factory! And are manufactured for us. It’s not an old car that spare part are not available. Its 4 month my car is with Mercedes repairer. I don’t recommend to buy Mercedes and insure with them. I believe they don’t have technical people in Australia to fix the car properly. I am terrified if I get the car back after couple of weeks, I will face issues to open the roof!

Terrible Service yet again.
We only have one MB service center in town. The service is disgraceful. You have to follow up when you are going to get your car back all the time. No one knows what is happening and by when. Then they give you the call to see how the service went, i had to tell them you still have my car lol! she then goes and to say "well its not my responsibility to see if you have your car yet." I will never own another MB again. BMW next time.

Testing the invisible car
During the week I had spoken with this company to test a new Mercedes A45 AMG (around $80,000). I turn up on the Saturday at the appointed time, only to find out that the boss had taken the car away to use over the weekend. Hardly impressed. So went to another dealer instead. Hardly the service one would expect from a premium brand or authorised MB dealer. They will have to do a lot to get my business as the second dealer now has front running.

Mercedes service berwick
Do Not take your car here! Got a loan car whilst they serviced the car which was great. Problem was when they transferred the car sear they left my pram in the loan car. That was Saturday. It's now Thursday I called this morning to pick it up I got the " we will call you back" reply. Not happy as all my plans have been put on hold for 5 days as IV had no pram. make sure pram was transferred back to our car. It is their job to ensure both cars are checked over before given back! I have also had to take my car back for minor details after every service. You will not get a proper comprehensive service. Please Don't waste your time or money. You will be told it needs service once a year. We have spent over $4000 this financial year on brakes, 2 services, tail light.... I'll be going to another dealership- even better I'll buy another European car. Free coffee drinks Overpriced. Service team at Melbourne branch
Bought a ML 300 in August 2011. Had a very smooth run for 3 years. But the service department has gone from bad to worst. I had to book one month in advance to have a loan car. 7 months I booked my car in for service. I had to go there 3 times in a role. 1st time they did have a loan car. Rescheduled for the next day. The second day the loan car was not ready when I got there. Reschedule for the 3rd times. OMG. I had my car booked in for service again today. Guess what, I got a call at 8:30am while I was on my way there. I was told there no loan car again.
Very nice and reliable car

Be wary of this dealership
They were very accommodating up until the point of signing the contract. The after sales service here is very bad.
Bought new car here, the car developed a fault. After repeated visits back to the dealership for the same fault, I asked for compensation in the form of replacing the fuel used to travel to and from the dealership to fix the fault under warranty. The service manager refused, saying that every Mercedes Benz was not perfect and it was my problem as a consumer to pay the costs related to fixing the faults with their product.
The service manager does not even back the quality of their cars!
Very unprofessional, poor after sales service. Not even the service manager backs the quality of their cars.

Poor service, poor attitude, over prices
Having purchased a new 2012 sprinter I expected the customer service at my local dealers to be very good ! It's Mercedes a premium product so we should get a premium service! Well how wrong can you be. First off I have booked the vehicle in for a warrenty issue the dash leaks water into the floor when raining and the side loading door is not fitted properly. 2 weeks to get it in and a day later they cannot find the water problem so door fixed but 1.5 years on still no dash leak fixed. still works. Books it they have it a week and can't find a fault, twke it home still a fault inter mutant it is but still shows up once driven and warn guess what videoed the fault shown them and still got the fault! I honestly think it's sat in their car park for a week and not been touched . First service I get the bill $636 for an oil and oil filter change only what I buy the oil and filter they recommend to service my other sprinter and it's the same costs me $198 and it's a 20 min job. Attitude of the staff just can't be bothered with the customers I could go in and on about the faulty injectors that were fitted and blew up my other sprinter resulting in a new engine being fitted by them under warrenty 3 months wait and then they forgot to put the engine number on the new engine resulting in the engine out again stamped and then inspected by rta inspectors off the road another month. Initially the dealer manager tried to claim the turbo had caused the holes in piston 3 & 4 even after their report stated injectors leaning out had caused the damage! New injectors not 6 months old . Seems their lack of care and treatment of customers may eventually put them out of business . Pay a premium price give a premium service! Hi Julie. I have complementary road assistance through my company but I have not used Mercedes-Benz yet. For almost 20 years I had road assistance through NRMA and never had any issues. Unfortunately can’t say anything about RACV.
