Our sales consultant was Ben Huppert. We got lucky being placed with Ben because from start to finish, Ben guided us through the process. Building a home from scratch is a long process and we were impressed with the level of knowledge that Ben has. Not only that, he would give us realistic tips along the way which helped in our decision making and always presents himself professionally. Ben is truly an asset to the Mirvac team.

We recently completed our build with Mirvac in Sydney and believe that they have met expectations on the build quality and service. The finish isn't outstanding but neither is it poor. Any outstanding issues were fixed shortly after notifying the vendors - from reading some other posts, the key is to being polite and courteous yet assertive and factual - document, photograph etc. The foreman, supervisors etc are more likely to help you if you take out the negative emotion.

Read more shifting of dates. We were told 2 days prior that our written handover date had to be changed. The other issue is that Mirvac will give priority to the townhome/duplex packages as they only receive funds once the house is complete compared to standard build where progress payments are released at various stages of completion. This can be dissapointing when you see these houses mushroom and overtake your build even though you may have started 2-3 months earlier. Complaints and issues were quickly dealt with addressed, Fair quality of finishings, Excellent price point, Big company means more likely to avoid big negative disputes Poor communication in relation to handover dates, Natural floor levels did not match to plan

Overall so far we have been treated well by the sales staff when you are considering $275000 with them but finding out information about how the building process is progressing is difficult to say the least
staff have been good so far we paid our $4000 FOR the final tender.
as we are only just started the building process no t had any problems yet

great house only 3 miner faults all fix with in 3weeks
an old gentleman done the fit out work by him self A1 Job
the tilers we great and the painters were Great.the plastering could have been better

prices are good and sales staff are helpful, they need to have better blocks available at all times if they want to sell their homes.

They only build on their own land that they want to sell you.

I still have not receive any reply or response from Mirvac for my email on 8 July. Then I followed up with another email on 28 June 2021 ... also no reply.
My last communication with your Customer Relationship & Settlement Executive was on 2 June 2021
Since I moved in to Mirvac built homes in Waverley Park in May 2020, and I still have the following pending rectification items to be rectified by Mirvac.
1. outside mortar missing from the two front windows
2. tighten up the towel rail holder
3. replace inside garage door handle
4. repaint inside of the garage / hall door:
5. paint to bottom of the outside gate RHS
6. touch up render and paint to upstairs balcony step.
7. seal 2 mitre corners to the balcony handrail
8. issue with kitchen sink - replacement/compensation
This is my 2nd purchase from Mirvac; first one was in Harcrest. This is beginning to be a regretful purchase for a repeated customer of Mirvac.
As I believe Mirvac is quietly leaving this long time in development estate of Waverley Park, it is a shame how you are treating your customers.

I am thinking of purchasing a Mirvac apartment at Leighton beach. In past apartments I've lived in there have been inter-apartment noise issues because of insufficient sound abatement measures (the apartments I've lived in have been old). Could Mirvac please tell me what acoustic compliant codes they meet, specifically in relation to Leighton beach Compass build (where I am considering purchasing). Thanks, team!
