We bought a real lemon

published

I suppose 4 out of 5 Mitsubishi conditioners we have purchased over 15 years is not too bad but this last Reverse Cycle air conditioner put in 4 weeks ago was faulty from day 1. The noise is like a machine gun when on for 5 minutes. I keep thinking as it was on sale at Harvey Normans that this is why its a load of rubbish. Company that put it in said was a Mitsubishi problem, that took a week and after another week Mitsubishi representative tells us we need a part! a part and its not been used. Bearings on the fan. Not happy Jan!

Purchased in May 2021 at Harvey Norman for $1,349.00.

Good but makes the air dry

published

The pros for this air conditioner is that it is quite and works really well in cooling the house down.
The cons it takes a full bucket of water out of the atmosphere each day leaving the air dry. I have had to buy a humidifier to balance things up!
One other small point you have to keep pressing the fan button on the remote up to be able to turn the fan down to a lower speed.

Great split system!

published

We have loved using this split system during the scorching summer days/nights. We don't have any other form of air-conditioning and we find that the air conditioning cools down most of our home. Unlike other split systems we've had, the noise is bearable and not too loud. Would highly recommend this product!!!

PERFECT SPLIT SYSTEM

published

Heats quickly, Cools Quickly, constant consistency and love the timer, comes with a remote wall mount, Keep a 3 bedroom unit hot and cold, hasn't let me down once and has been on almost daily since I brought it.
is very quiet and turns off when reaches your desired temperature saving power which is great, batteries in remote have lasted three years and it hasn't needed re gasing once. Quite good on power, have it on heat constantly and doesn't affect bill too much, highly recommend.

going well so far... can't wait to test it out in the heat of summer

published

Our builder suggested this model for our new kitchen/dining area which has a >4m elevated ceiling - so we have a lot of air to circulate. We are very pleased so far - it cools the area very quickly and is very quiet. (PS for logistic considerations: we originally planned to mount the unit to an external wall but the sheer size and weight of the unit prevented this - something to think about).

Relief

published

I’m terrible with technology I know how to google and that’s about it but this split system is so easy to use even I was surprised instead of freaking out. It’s also a quiet machine that I’ve accidentally left it on thinking I’d turned it off because it is just that good. It was well worth the money and when we had the experts in to install the unit it was as if they weren’t here because I slept through the whole thing.
My only regret is that we didn’t get this installed sooner this summer because we would have used it.

This really works!

published

This machine is brilliant, we got it last Christmas and cant believe how much cooler the house has been-even with open plan and not havign a hallways door, it still works well cooling even the kids rooms. We got the summer bill and its was $150 cheaper and we have used it the same equivalent time. Highly recommend. The functions are simple and came with a wall mount for the control-so it doesnt get lost-brilliant.

I love it

published

This is our first ever reverse cycle air conditioner and I have to say we love it so much in the master suite we went back and purchased another for the family/living area.
What I love is how quiet it is and it cools the room down quickly and enough to turn it off for a few hours without losing much of the cool air once curtains and doors are closed. We have a Queenslander style of home and we found by having the ceiling fans on, the cool air traveled a lot further than mentioned in the instructions which was really great. We haven't used it for winter yet so it will be interesting to compare power bills.
