Air conditioner purchased H/N Octopuss arrange to come never turned up, they phone and sent we text with website showing the day time and when I rang they said on their book it was scheduled 3 days later. Man installed a/c told extra $99 (for new circuit breaker) on top $850 installation &$100 decommission paid H/N. We had upgraded meter box 4 years ago by Aurora when we told him this he said oh plus we ask him to leave old ones removed. Been 6 week haven't received a bill as yet ??

Very aggressive language and no empathy and understanding my situation, however wS advised I got 1 minute on the call to finish my situation, absolutely Bad Call!!!
The lady was extremely unfriendly.
I will never ever be using their services again!

Used these guys as Harvey Norman works with them. Started off well, but the aftercare was extremely disappointing. They don't take responsibility for their actions and lay blame on the customer.

Had all the wiring ready to go and they didn’t wire it all up properly. They are not good I would never use them. [name removed] was the installer. Half job.

Booked at HN when buying air conditioner. They had a special on installation when purchasing a Panasonic. What a joke, charged an extra $450 on the day after the job was done!! I called Octopuss and got put through to the manager [name removed] who was so rude when I asked for an itemised invoice before charging my credit card. Also like others the customer service and communication from the technicians is absolutely terrible, I had to chase and chase to get done and it took 6 weeks before they finally did it!! Do not use this service.

The Manager of Icy Cool did an over the phone quote, which was a waste of time. He claimed to be in Sydney due to a family issue. I’ve since found out this is part of a LIE. He infact had relocated to Sydney from Brisbane 13 months earlier & has no plans to return to Qld.. His installer came to quote after I complained to the sales consultant @ my local Harvey Norman store. They got the job.. Still 2 months later I am still waiting for this job to be completed. Installer picked at the installation of my other 2 air cons.. Don’t waste your time with these Idiots.

Had a great experience with them. Had a split system replaced by Steve (in the Gippsland; courtesy Wonthaggi Harvey Norman). He came when he said he would, did the job, cleaned up, fixed up some wiring, without charging extra, and took the old split system away. A top bloke, too.

Peter was our installer. He arrived on time, removed the old dishwasher, a Dishlex DX302, and installed our new Dishlex 6106W. No problems in the changeover. Provided good instructions to help us complete installation process. Couldn't be happier with this service.

Octopuss sent installers Brett and James to our home to install two split system air conditioners. A great job. Arrived on time and did a neat job. Took care of our home and cleaned up afterwards. Polite courteous and friendly. I would have no trouble recommending them to anyone who wants a professional job.

DO not use this company unless you want to pay another company to fix their work. The fugitsu technician said he couldn't believe the install and then I get yelled at by Octopus Manager saying it is somehow my fault! How can Harvey norman keep giving then contracts.
