I had an air-conditioning split system bought from Harvey Norman Booval and installed by their recommended installer.

Installation was completed and we opted for the peak meter installation and would then be able to claim $200 rebate through Energex.

The installer did not return the form to make the claim, he was called and said he would return the form and has NOT done so.

This seems to be deceptive and fraudulent activity to allow the installer to make a tidy extra profit on every installation that opts for the peak meter installation.

So on top of getting over $800..00 for installation he applies for the rebate himself and makes an extra $200 on each installation.

This will be taken further and investigated.

Guys installed air con from Harvey Norman Booval we needed it fitted in under a week as we were going away . They were quick and efficient and very helpful with helping us to decide where unit should go.

Excellent work. Rain prevented first installation but a second appointment went ahead quite promptly. Clean up afterwards was most impressive. I was very happy with the work by Brendan.

We found Luke a very polite and efficient young man. He arrived on time and installed our oven with no hassles. He even turned the oven on and told us to leave it on for 30 minutes so that the new smell would clear up.

I would hire a qualified electrician, the installer was angry, he also wired the connection wrong which resulted in the airconditioner not working for the past month due to both capacitators burning out the external unit, this has now been identified by a qualified electrician it is now being repaired under the extended warranty.

We were most satisfied with the salesman and the installer of our recently purchased unit from Harvey Norman at Maroochydore. Everything promised was delivered in full and on time by all concerned, especially Brad from Ocean Breeze Aircon Installers.

After installing the aircon noticed the installer left a hole in the wall . I called and I have to say I was very disappointed with the ladies response that they don’t fix holes . Let’s just say the hole will be fixed by this company I don’t care how much it will cost me to see they fix there errors . Now to be honest I’m a bit worried about the workmanship of this installer

Octopuss fitted the aircon on the day and time I was advised 10/10 - However I did Instruct the installer that he should do anything extra he thought was needed to make it a good looking install and I would pay for any extra that he thought was needed, Interior looks great BUT the outside unit was left sitting on a small concrete slab and a brick !! Yes a brick, Not a good looking professional install.

Two nice young men installed my new television and sound bar. They were polite and efficient. Their explanation of the functions of the new equipment was clear and I have had no difficulty managing the newer technology. I asked for their business card and would call them again

Bought my air conditioner 2 weeks ago from Harvey Norman, paid for the installation to be done by Octopuss (Harvey Norman's installer). I was told I would be contacted in between 3 and 5 days....I had no call, so I called them, only to be told by the person answering the phone that there was nothing she could do, I have to wait for the technician to call me. It's been 2 weeks now and still no return call to make the appointment to do the installation......what can I do - Harvey Norman say it's not their issue, the installer can't be contacted....is there an ombudsman that I can state my case with?

Harvey Norman had promotional offer on Air con installation ($250) off if unit purchased from them. Terrible experience where for up to a week of purchase no one turned up. [name removed] (Airotel) visited to provide quote, however after several follow ups no final quote amount was provided. I smelled fishy when he charged extra for back to back installation (e.g pipe where length was under 3.0M). When I asked for final quote never provided and turn up with excuses. When followed up terminated discounted offer. Ended up losing the cash back offer from supplier. Octopuss did not bother to look at both side of coin from their subcontractors and client.

I called Mick to come and install my Airconditiong after I had an installer called Frank that was so rude and didn’t want to do the job. Mick came out the same day he is so experienced and did the job in no time at all PERFECT would recommend him to anyone.

Rang and gave me a time and day turned up on time did a very professional job and cleaned up taking all cartons etc. from my split system air conditioner very happy with the job. Have used octopuss now for the second time and happy with the service.

Contact between octopuss staff, installers & client does not exist. Harvey Norman needs to intervene and train staff & installers to be professional in carrying out a business to assure clients they are punctual in their comunicatios.
Overall rating not worth wasting time to obtain an installation.

Gavin and his mate installed my split system air con and turned up at the agreed date and time and did a good job.They were efficient, polite,cleaned up after themselves and follow up service was spot on.I would definetly recommend these guys.

Awful. 2 days of broken appointments, left dishwasher non-functional and walked out 'Not my problem' and left big scratch in wooden floor from dragging either old one out or new one in. Never again.

Octopus installers were fantastic. They were polite, and efficient. I would have no hesitation in having them service my heat pump when necessary. They also had a great sense of humour. Thank you.

We had 2 aircons installed and couldn't be happier,they turned up on time,explained everything that they were doing and cleaned and took rubbish away,thanks guys for a great job
