We entered construction stage last week. Our building coordinator Jessie has been helpful to us. She provided timely updates and responded to our emails promptly. She is pretty switched on. Our experience has been good so far. I would recommend Porter Davis based on that. I also hope that the construction stages go smooth as well without any hiccups.

We get pain into the bone experience with Porter Davis. At contract Stage, they refuse to see me but post the contract back and forth. Haven't complete the job but ask for payment. Handover but didn't send the final Invoice. Mostly unable to contact your coordinator. Experience Pain, Choose them!

[Name Removed] and her team did a wonderful job.. good communication and very supportive for remote client like me.. Very recommended to work for this splendid team.. Very knowlegable in all aspects.. They also showed their sincerity and experience in recommending design, colors and structure for my house. Good job team !!!!

PD were very happy to take our $2,000 deposit - that's when the problems started.

There was zero communication and we were left with no option but to cancel our build and source another builder!

The concierge team are uncontactable and when we were able to contact anyone they simply lied, all the way through to National Sales Manager level!

I wish I'd read the hundreds of genuine negative reviews on facebook groups and review sites!

Just before entering the site start, she provided us with a comprehensive checklist of items that need to be completed which was very useful. We had a fairly good experience so far. I would recommend Porter Davis based on that. I also hope that the construction stages go smooth as well - fingers crossed!!

I am building a new house with Porter Davis. We chose the Waldorf Grange 49 and are building on a corner block in Keysborough suburb in Melbourne. We chose Porter Davis based on the name and reputation over many other volume builders.
Although we thought our experience would be more expensive we were very pleasantly surprised that they were very similar if not cheaper (compared to my sisters experience with another very popular builder).

The build was very well managed, the workmanship and quality of the build was what we expected from a quality builder of Porter Davis’ stature. There were only minor issues along the way and they were handled professionally and in a timely manner. The house cost about what we first estimated.

We build our first home with porter davis. Its only 6 month old. Post handover support is horrible. No contact from them till date. Even if we call them, they want to end the call ASAP saying do things online. Response on online portel is terrible. isuues reported 5 months ago is still waiting to be resolved. Online portal only marks the requests as either accepted or not accepted. Then there is no response. We doesn't even know who is our post hand over contact.where other builders got a good communication with customers after hand over, so called one of the best in industry scared to answer the post handover issues.

So far good. It could have been better knowing I’m dealing with big brand Porter Davis. Honestly my experience for Pre-site so far is being roller coaster, started very good and smooth with sales, tender, WOS and Contract. After that they took over 3 months to provide us final drawing, it was so stressful noting our final drawing came with few structure mismatches which we never agreed and signed in our contract drawing. I’m glad they all rectified promptly after escalation and we are on construction stage. I am hoping very positive outcome from going forward during our build process.

Back again folks! Completed a review about a year ago when house was being built, now getting back to finish product. Words cannot express how delighted I am with Porter Davies. Our home is like a custom build without the price tag. Workmanship is fantastic and I am absolutely delighted we chose Porter Davies. We were very impressed how they have built our home from initial idea and through a lot of display appointments to reality.

From the very beginning Porter Davis customer service has been excellent. The customer service from Sales until current mid-construction stage has been amazing. All Staff were experienced, guided us in all selections and made it a smooth process even thought it was through Zoom. Construction is as per schedule and good quality of work so far. We are currently building with Porter David and our experience thus far has been second to none. From the very beginning, [Name Removed] was incredibly helpful especially with colour choices and advice. We are now working closely with our site supervisor [Name Removed] who is exceptional. I dreaded the thought of having to build prior to signing up with Porter Davis but would do it all over again with this company. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Front facade, alfresco work and painting were not finished even 9 months after handover, Broken wash basin haven’t changed and not attended. Cooling problems haven’t sorted out. Lots of other defects needs to be repaired.Asked for a home inspection for aftercare, never happened, hard to contact them for aftercare and using the home portal as a tool for neglecting the complaints.

Pre-site stage of the build was good. Our Building Coordinator was knowledgeable and was able to fix issues that we encountered during the sales stage and the design stage (world of style). We could tell that our coordinator had a large volume of work which made communication slow at times.

Building my fourth property in Australia was not an easy decision; considering my previous two homes have been architecturally designed and privately built.

I was somewhat apprehensive, considering that my first built was with a volume builder. Back then, my experience wasn't the best due to the working relationship with the supervisor's lack of communication and quality presented to a surpassingly designer range chosen.

Currently in the process of building with Porter Davis to build my dream home. Experience right up to this point (Lock up stage) has been smooth and easy to deal with. Props go to my Sales and Building building consultants as well as my Site Supervisor who have made a nervous period much more bearable and easy to understand.

The team at Porter Davis has been amazing, we recently completed framing stage of our build, we have been kept in the loop at every stage. They are super quick at the same time able to deliver quality finishes.
