I have a question about my Samsung robot vacuum
It’s making a noise and I have checked all the simple things but was wondering if there could be something in the motor that I can’t see.

Mine make a noise when I put it in the maximum vacuuming power but I usually select the first (minimum power) which is almost quite because I use it 3 times a week so I don't need a maximum vacuuming power, I agree this model is more noisy compared to other brands or cheaper ones in Samsung, but you need to consider that this model is the most powerful robot in the market so far, (in terms of suction systems)

I had the same problem, what I found is there is a circuit board on top of the brush, when I took that out I could see components that burned up. I order a used replacement board and put it in and that fixed the problem.

Powerbot VR9200 (SR20J9250U)

Hey, i have the Samsung Powerbot VR9200 VR20J9250UK/SA - i put it on the base and it says "FULL" but then once i click the start button for it to clean it will dismount off the charging station, turn around and then turn itself off and the screen goes black - i then have to turn the emergency switch off underneath the unit and back on and the screen will come back on and do its count down from 5 then go back to the normal screen, once i click start again it does the same and will not work. I have tried cleaning all sensors best i can but due to the fact it doesn't come up with a sensor error message i gather its losing signal or battery. After charging battery for hours i removed and tested with a multi meter and was reading 23.2V and the battery is a 21.6V so i gather the battery is good condition and holding charge.. is there any other tips or things to try? Thanks in advance for your help

Put a piece of tape over the sensor. I know that worked with Rhoombas with the same issue.

I put white paper over all the senses and taped them down, everything works fine on black rugs.

We didn’t use our vacuum cyclone froze for months, I had to recharge because even though it was on the base didn’t have any battery. When I try to turn it on it works but it won’t move away from baso or anywhere.
Any idea what is happening?? What can I do???

Sounds like you had the power off to the base? In isnt a good idea to let battery fully discharge anyhow. Try pressing the "start/pause" button on the bot - I do to get the little sucker moving.

Samsung powerbot 9250 worked fine for just over a year now it try's to vacuum or return home in reverse, it backs up and turns around ok from base but when vacuum comes on it goes backwards then a little forward then backwards a lot more then a little forward then a lot more backwards. I cleaned all sensors with air compressor, unplugged battery tried covering cliff sensors, front bumper does work correctly when it does go forward a little and you push it in, shows no codes. It does go forward if I use the remote in manual although. Help please

Ok, just tried something I'd tried when the bot first started acting squirrelly and this time it worked! It had been sitting unused for about 3 months, decided to finally list it on eBay for parts, so I charged it up to make sure it would at least run, battery would hold a charge, etc. When it powered up, the problem seemed better, not perfect or normal, but better. I tried the trick with covering the cliff sensors with some printer paper and tape, and horray!!! It's cleaning the house for the first time since April!

My vacuum wont turn off! It doesn't move anywhere, the motor just keeps running. It ran the battery flat and when I put it on the dock the motor runs permanently. Even if I pick it up, turn it upside down, take out the dustbin, it stil runs and runs. I have turned it off underneath and left it off for hours, as soon as I turn it back on again the motor starts up again. :-( Any ideas???

The motor runs but the bot doesnt move? Sounds like a Software problem as you have tried to reboot by switching off at the isolating switch under the bot. Suggest you try and get Samsung to fix (good luck)

It might be because you lifted or moved it while it was operating, that kind of confuses it and can't find its way back to the charging dock.

If the docking station does not gets charge either check another power point and / or all cables connected properly. If not, then there's a problem with it, should take it back to the store

I have no idea why it will not work. You will have to take it back to the store you bought it from or ring the manufacturer and see what they say.
