Samsung Battery Issue

I have been to Samsung Store in Penrith for about three times to complain about problems persisting with the Samsung S9.
1. App crashing because of the heat generated from the battery.
2. Battery Life not lasting long enough.
Both the first two visits entitled me to have the data backed up else Samsung won't touch the phone and i will lose the data.

Samsung center in Penrith NSW 2750 and I told them about the same. They said it will be quicker if you paid for the service or the assessment may take 5-7 working days which i cannot afford as this is my work phone. Now that the phone battery has been replaced ( if there was no problem why did Samsung replace the battery) if there was a problem i shouldn't be charged to change the Screen as the assessment came back with a faulty battery.1 comment

Ear Pod Scam S10E
Bought the s10e and redeemed my ear pods it was a deal they had on . Got a comfirmation email then 4 wks later they said sorry u havent redeemes properly so u wont b getting earpods big scamm dont go with samsung ! Also had rang them multiple times only to have idiots that dont speak english and people who just keep putting u on hold and transferring you . Worst company and worst customer service . Big scammers ! Wont ever be buyimg a samsung again next time ill b going with an iphone . Samsung should be ashamed not even worth 1 star rating .

Buy Samsung at your peril. We have had 6 different Samsung products over t h e past 6 years and 4 have failed. My main point for the purpose of this review is we purchased a phone from our local JB HIFI in Dec 18. Just before the 12 month warranty and expired, the phone was on charge when the screen started to go Black in the bottom right hand corner. air enough. Samsung refused to repair the phone under warranty, instead quoting $200 as they are say the phone has signs of physical damage through it being dropped. This was communicated back to JB and then to us via mail. We immediately asked JB to respond with our dissatisfaction, as the phone has never been dropped. This resulted in Samsung calling direct, when they reiterated there refusal to repair the phone under warranty, insisting still that the phone had been dropped. I asked for this to be escalated higher and was told it could not be as I was already at the highest level for customer interface. The phone has now been sent back to our local JB n it's broken state. What an absolute kop out and disgrace from Samsung. I have asked for an explananation as to why the the phone would do this whilst charging and have received no response and probably the won't. Based on my other experience with Samsung products, microwave that sparked and stopped, a fridge freezer that stopped working and had the digital screen fail at target 18 month old and a TV that kept turning itself on and off, then finally failing completely with a similar situation the the phone when the screen just blew on the inside. Needless to say, there will be no more Samsung products purchased by our household. Samsung your products are badly made and your care and service is terrible. Purchasers be warned.1 comment

Ear bud redemption
What an absolute disgrace. I purchased the Active 2 and it came with a free redemption of a set of Galaxy ear buds. I sent my redemption email off on the 19.10.19 and received a confirmation email saying that my redemption was successful. After hearing nothing from Samsung for months, i called them today to find out what was wrong. To find out that my claim had NOT gone through due to a blurry receipt. Worst customer service ever.
I purchased the active 2 where ear buds will be delivered as promotion. But they didn't bother whether delivered or not. When i tried the customer service keeps on stating than they have limited authority and sorry for unable to support. Repeatly stating the other department may take 72 hrs to response. Worst service of life.

Tv switches on and off
I have a 2013 Samsung Tv that switches off and on while I’m trying to watch a dvd. As you can imagine it is not only frustrating but ruins the movie. So I am left with watching it on my computer. Also I notice using the volume on the remote can also switch it off

No one can help me
Ive had a faulty tv remote for 2.5 years. Every time i get onto technical support they ask me to do the same bluetooth tests which show issue with remote.

Absolute joke!
I bought Samsung S9+ and unfortunately camera was not producing a result it should be and immediately went to Samsung store to get it fixed. After spending a week they found no problem ith the hardware and fixed the issue with some twicking in Firmware. But after sometime when samsung update came and the same problem came back. To and fro and finally tired, I went to Samsung store again and they found that there was minor manufactoring fault(!) which they fixed. So, I sent the phone back to Samsung and asked for replacement as I was entitled for the replacement on the first place when Samsung checked the phone for the first time. Now, the case manager doesn't want to acknoledge the issue of overheating (even a kid can recognize the issue) and nor they are willing to accept that it was a manufacturing fault!!! Such a lier they are!! I have used Samsung phones for more than 7 years now and this incident is real eye opener. My advise, STAY AWAY from Samsung. Not worth spending over $1000 bucks for "flagship phone" when their service is near non to existence.2 comments

Now weeks later we still have no answer and all we want is the exhange or ours fixed. We get a different answer with every call, can't believe this is happening! Brand new Samsung active2 watch, Overheating and 2 hours battery life in Standalone mode
I recently bought an active 2 watch LTE. The first day I bought the watch, I experienced a problem overheating and battery draining 1% every minute. I contacted the customer care, VOC (the pinnacle of escalations according to Samsung), none of them solved my problems, rather they escape from the problem by giving invalid solutions. The customer care people only claim that the product is according to Samsung standard. I wrote a review on their website, but they never posted it. I can see there are other people with a similar problem. I provided them time stamp camera photos of the date and time of 100% full and low battery, but they do not care about the customer complaint.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A Tablets
Samsung, what a joke. Same issue with tablet and they keep telling me to send it back. Why would I do that when it is sent back the form states no issue, tablet working fine. Yep works real fine when the screen is black and you cant turn it on or even charge it. But to Samsung there is no issue. By the way you need to have a zero rating.

Samsung promotion offers should be illegal
If you think getting your free item or piece of software with you Samsung purchase would be easy, think again. I purchased an SSD with a free game included and when I go to submit the claim, all i get is 'invalid serial number'. What a load of crap.
I have called and emailed many times and the customer service is useless and doesn't care about actually solving your problem, instead telling you to email or call again.
If you can't even sort out something so simple, why should people buy your products because there is no doubt you would not be able to receive service for anything major.

Samsung Phone Warranty isn't worth the paper it is written on
Purchased a Samsung Galaxy A70 and after 6 weeks the phone stopped working. Buy a 4k TV to watch 4k movies on - But don't count on the USB working!
A Samsung UHD 6 series 40" UHD TV was a nice gift. Until the TV was unplugged for ONE WHOLE NIGHT and COMPLETELY crippled it's ability to read ANY USB without FREEZING. Samsung advice: "use a different usb/replace the motherboard/download our trash app" TO NO AVAIL! Never go Samsung, ever.

Horrendous Samsung Warranty service
I had a horrendous experience with Samsung. Upon searching on Google, their rating on product review is 1.6 stars out of 5 for their warranties. Recently purchased Galaxy S10+ for over $1000. Phone restarts multiple times a day and apps would constantly crash.
I showed the problem to the Macquarie Samsung Studio in person and they agreed with me that there is a problem. , at a premium price, now after months of going back and forth, I still dont have a usable phone. All of this because the VOC team is not able to apply basic common sense when addressing a problem and didnt bother gathering relevant facts. Richard (VOC staff) told me "the studio staff didnt reply to my email" so he had to send the phone back without any remedy as if it was my responsibility to make sure their staff reads their emails. I had purchased a Note 10 from a Samsung store on the 7th November during the time the earbud redemption program was active. I was in two minds of buying the phone but the free ear buds were an enticing proposition. I filled the appropriate online form with all the info required. I hadn't received any feedback as to whether my claim was verified A week later so I decided to call Samsung ear buds call centre. Finally a half hour later I got through and was told they forgot to inform me that my claim was verified. On the 13th of November my claim was verified. It has been stuck like that ever since to this day. Made many attempts to call but all calls were in excess of 20 minutes+ before the phone cuts out. As if this is a deliberate act to reflect the problem; keep them in the dark. The 30 day limit is soon encroaching and I highly doubt Samsung will honour their promise. This ear buds redemption promotion has Simply been a form of bait IMO to lure honest customers to their product and put these customers aside while Samsung continue doing business.
