SNA are a very professional company and the booking all went smoothly and most helpful with any queries that came up. You don't have a choice of flights so have to take what you get, but very happy with the service that Singapore Airlines gave us, with 1 stopover in Singapore before landing in Beijing. knowledgeable and it was very interesting listening to all the cultural history of China. All the meals were adequate, however all became pretty bland and boring after a few days. Tour group was 31 people. Be prepared for lots of walking and climbing stairs, so need to be quite fit and sure footed, as lots of uneven ground and pavements. All the sites that we visited were interesting especially the Great Wall, Gubei Water Town, The Longman Grottoes were amazing. The Yangtze River Cruise was ok but the Gold 6 is a little tired compared to advertising photos. Take plenty of cash as optional tours paid to guides and purchases in China better paid in cash. China is a truly wonderful place to visit. The bullet trains were fast and clean. The people are all very friendly but very difficult to communicate with as no English spoken. Google translate got a good working out. Would definitely recommend for people to visit China and experience the country. All in all a well organized tour for a very reasonable price. Awesome 15 day tour of China
We had an amazing holiday, initially booked with Webjet exclusives NZ. We had great flights, one transfer outgoing and a direct flight coming home. The tour guides were awesome, very humorous which surprised us. They were very knowledgeable and the changeovers with guides at the railway station all went smoothly. There were some long train trips...up to 6 hours but the trains were all very comfortable although there isn't enough allocated room for all the luggage.

The worst tour in my life
We just came back from 9 days China Tour. I am extremely disappointed at the how the trip was organised and planned out.
First of all, due to a medical emergency the return flight was delayed by more than 15 hours (including initial waiting more than 7 hours in the airplane and then 8 hours at airport for the new approval documents) . It was physically and mentally draining for all of us especially our 9 year old son. ad paid the same amount per person for this trip. As a result of this, my child only received half compensation as to the adult airfare. For this entire trip, we did not receive what we had paid for. My child was not provided breakfast, bottled water, toiletries and slippers etc as the hotels considered him as an add-on. We had to argue our way to get all these essentials at each location, even so bottled water was not provided in the Shanghainese hotel for my son. We were provided with a small two-bed bedroom each time although there were three of us. Although we were expecting an extra bed to be added in the room for my son as it would be uncomfortable to have one of us sharing a bedroom with a stranger, it came as quite a shock that a very small bed was squeezed into the already small bed room resulting in so little to no room to even walk around or store our luggages. For example, the Shanghainese hotel staff had to take apart the TV cupboard and squeeze a small bed underneath the TV for my son. I was also informed that this service is free for little kids, which means we were completely ripped off as we paid full fee per person, we were hence not allocated with a room or services any different to if the childs accommodation was unpaid for.Similar opinion? The worst tour company ever
They tricked us to paying for our tour by showing us great airline tickets, then for us to find out by chance that our flights we booked were changed to a midnight arrival before the tour start the next morning! We arrived at hotel at 2:30am and had to do wall of china next day!
What is worst is that they seem cheep, but triple charge you for the excursions to make up the money! You end up paying more to them compared to other tours! The tour guide charged us extra to walk us around the city with no extra activity. Never again with SNA.

We did 10 day China tour, lovely English speaking tour guides - Ingrid 8 days & Betty 2 days, unexpected tours ate into our spending money, and if you didn't do them you sat on bus or left somewhere up to 3 hours alone, you arrive Hotels very late evenings * every day * and our return flight to Australia from xian took 3 plane flights to get home 22 hours in time, wasted time again, overall food was amazing, Hotels are out of town 2 hours + but modern, you cant explore bejing at night its too far, except xian your in city hotel and its ol...Read more
d, its a very fast paced holiday, a lot of travelling on buses, no toilets on buses ( pack toilet paper, hand sanitizer, practise squats ), so I suggest you go every chance you get if bus stops, China was a great amazing holiday but the organisation sna Tours with other people travelling differently, left us with wasted time group of 8 +, especially coming home, our Sydney friends had direct flight home, we didn't Would consider SNA again but ask more questions on flights and additional information on tours. Also if you plan to swim you need swimming cap in all of China swimming pools very strict on that, they also did our application visa, extra cost but much easier for travelling, for the price overall okaySimilar opinion? From being put into another group at airport this is where it went down hill. Between the 2 tour guides did not want to put us on the tour first day we missed out on the great wall. The head office blatantly loe to us saying tour guides did offer to us but was lies. So we basically told we was in the wrong and apparently break down in commutation from the tour guides which eventually we missed out on tours.
Would not recommend SNA to anyone.

Perfect tour
booking fast and accurate for 8 days in China. Chengdu hotel better than expected, visit to Pandas to strenuous for me. Beijing and water city hotels perfect, guide Lili was very helpful and well organised. Food very good, transport good but to much travel as hotels far from city venues. All in all deserve recommendation.

Enjoyed most of this trip. Lots of extra costs involved added to overall deal. Meals were adequate. Hotels were hours out of CBD esp in Beijing, which made wasted hours of bus travel back and forth every day. Kevin in Xi'an was great. Other guides were less organised.

An Amazing Adventure In An Amazing Country.
My friend and I recently returned from a nine day SNA tour of China. SNA tours were amazing and their tour guides were great especially William who was exceptional. The accommodation was more than we expected and we were quite amazed with the quality. The meals were ok but got a bit boring. The tours were very well organised and didn’t disappoint. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend SNA and wouldn’t hesitate to travel with them again.

Over all, this trip was better than expected. The positives: I believe we had value for money and the hotels were comfortable. Breakfast/lunch easily catered for most diets. T&C's. The tour is full on with a lot of time on the bus/train, however, you are covering distances which would not be practical to do so in any other way. Amazing holiday and tour company!
SNA tours was incredible. We went on a tour to China and this tour was brilliant. Everything was booked and organised even on the Yangtze River Cruise, definitely take the VIP dining. We did so much and saw so much. Tour guides were excellent with fantastic English. The best English speaking guides we've had so far. They were also extremely knowledgable of each of the places we visited. ur when we asked to. They were very accommodating. The hotel stays were amazing the best we've stayed in of all tours that my dad and I have done so far this year which this is our 4th tour. Even when coming home our plane missed connecting flight due to weather, the plane company put us on a flight 2 days later but SNA put us up in a hitel for thos 2 nights and provided us all meals so it didn't put us out of pocket at all. China Sna tour
We have just returned from the most amazing Sna tour to China. Can’t recommend this group enough. The itinerary was amazing. The guides even better. So helpful. We had 2 extra days due to cancelled flight home from Xi’an. Our guide for the trip gave us Chinese notes so we could get ourselves up to the huashan mountains. Accommodation and meals were great and optional tours good. Would use them again and recommend to all our friends.

Exceeded all our expections & then some
My family (2 adults & 2 teenage girls) just returned from a 7 day tour of China & I cannot speak more highly of our experience. The tour guides, the food, the accomodation, the itinery was absolutely incredible. Everything was well above our expectations & we will definitely be using SNA Tours again.

Great Tour of Japan.
My husband and I did a 12 day Japan tour and it was amazing. Our Tour guide was so knowledgable and was very articulate in English. We travelled by coach and the young women driver was fantastic. We felt very safe and comfortable. Our tour guide Ivy showed us the most beautiful places in Japan from Tokyo to Osaka, Mt Fuji and Hiroshima and every other town in between, we saw many beautiful towns and cities. Awesome China Tour
We have just returned from the 19 day SNA China tour and would gladly recommend it to prospective travellers. Our tour included most highlights including our bucket list Great Wall and Terracotta Warriors. Below are some points I hope makes your decision easier.
1) Based on cost the tour was excellent
2) All the hotels were modern excellent 4/5 star
3) Supplied breakfasts were a mixture of western and Asian at each hotel. The quality of food was very good

SNA should be FNA
We saw this tour advertised on FB for $1700 but with all the extra excursions that we bought it turned out not to be so cheap. They advertised the Terracotta Warriors and Panda Bears and when they sent us the itinerary they weren't on there and when we asked them about it they made a comment of it was Last years tour.
We caught the plane at 9.15 in the morning and got to Bangkok at about 3.30 in the afternoon then we had to wait for another plane at 8.30 which was going to Phuket then to Beijing. We landed in Beijing at 6.30 the next morning ...Read more

Very disappointed
Chendu Yangtze cruise Hong Kong. Far too much time wasted in travel, too far away from tourist sites. Nothing to do at hotel. Pandas lovely, shishuan opera great. Did not cater for older folk. Too many steep steps.

Do not buy at the Chinese Medical Centre it is a complete fraud. Our bus spent over 10000 AUD on Boxed generic herbs after a 5 minute consultation from a "DR". The lady on my bus just had received 9 months of extensive medical testing as she was to donate a kidney to her daughter in the next few months she was given the all clear. After her consult with the chinese herbal "dr"he said your liver and kidneys are DAMAGED. Wrote a 3 word prescription and wanted to charge 1900 AUD. They asked me to leave after l laughed at their 934 dollar prescription for me "You disrespectful you leave". The rest of the tour is fantastic there is lots of selling at Jade factories and to add tours dont be persuaded if you dont want but for the price it is amazing and the great wall a bucket list. Remember it is cheap there are lots of changes don't expect your itinerary to be set in concrete it varies everyone on the tour has bought different but similar tours. Food is the same but varies not alot of options. Toilets are an experience take wipes. Long long long day s 7 to 9pm lots lots and lots of walking. Trains buses and automobiles. Accommodation ranges from spectacular to average as does the food. Chinese people are not polite there are 3.4 billion of them they stare they push because that is part of their culture. Absolutely fantastic trip to China.
Everything went to clockwork. The random tour group of 26 people was great company. The tour guides that met us at each airport were excellent. The meals were big and delicious. We never got sick. The accommodation was superb. The place we stayed at near the Great Wall was the grandest place I have ever stayed in my life. During the Beijing Winter Olympics it will probably cost at least $2000 a night to stay there. I did have troubles contacting Hainan airlines over the phone, email and chat. SNA makes you contact the airlines for seating etc but the airline turned out to be pretty good.

This was the worst tour we have ever been on. We were promised English speaking tour guides, some could not speak English well and were unable to understand us. Some guides were very unorganised and I would say very badly trained with very little knowledge about the sites we were passing. to sell optional tours. We arrived after a 30 hour trip from New Zealand tired and hungry, all the guide was interested in was selling optional tours. It was not a holiday, rushing from train to bus, train to bus. One day we spent 7 hours on a train. By plane would have been 1 hour. Our group had 39 in it. We were given 2 minutes to board the trains as well as carrying our luggage then stowing it as the train moved away from the station. Friday the 12/04/2019 we should have had 3 meals. We were booked for a 11 day Inspiring China on the 20.03.2020 this was cancelled and postpone to the 20th June 2020 and then again postponed to the 11 of September 2020.
According to the government’s department this date will not be available for travel. My wife and I are pensions and financially we can afford to keep changing dates.
Can you please let us know what our options are?

Did you get an automated reply saying their offices are closed until 31st May,2020? Also you could try sending them a message on their Facebook page, you may get a reply, here is the link :- https://www.facebook.com/snaasiagroup, where it says "send message" click on it and then type your message. Did you deal with SNA Tours directly? I purchased an offer through Luxury Escapes so had to deal with them separately. Just try these two actions and see if you receive a reply. All the best.
Also depending on any response you receive, write another review on this site and also write a review on Trust Pilot and on SNA's facebook page, that often gets a response.

How do you know your new bookings for 2021 are secure with sna tours? I was contacted by sna tours too with new dates in 2021 but now their affiliate company travel Asia has gone into liquidation so I wouldn’t hold my breath with your new dates!

To Diana S and Gra of Sydney : Please consider signing the petition that many disgruntled Luxury Escapes customers have signed, it is all about trying to get refunds for various travel/accommodation etc. Alson consider the Slater & Gordon class action expression of interest to hold the travel agencies accountable.
