Great Service
The customer service was excellent, although the accents were a little hard for me to understand over the phone. The installation team were very friendly and professional with it all up and running in half a day. I would highly recommend Sunboost.

Going under the name Green Value Solar
Absolutely terrible service. Power keeps tripping to the house after rain. The inverter is a Goodwe who won't accept their equipment is faulty. Now they are telling us that we have to change our meterboard. 2 independent electricians say that it's not the board. Everything was ok unroll we had heavy rain for the first time in months. Now the solar power system keeps shutting down the power to the house. It is a costly piece of roof decoration with a huge ugly box on the front of our house that is switched off doing nothing. These installers are useless when it comes to actual fault diagnoses and they all keep passing the buck. Looks like it's time to call Energy Safe and the ACCC. Enough is enough

Neville from Sunboost was great to deal with from the onset.
Installation was great. The guys were so polite, punctual and professional.
Explained approximately how long it would take up instal. Once installation was completed they cleaned up after themselves.
They gave me a run through as to how it worked prior to leaving.

Inverters shutting down
Instillation was over 11 days ago,the install guys were great and did a good job,i have a 10.4 kilowatt system with 2 inverters but i have a problem with the inverters shutting down up to 8 times a day sending AC voltage outrange error to Growatt server,i rang sunboost and they increased the outrange from 253 to 265,this did not fix the problem and i rang them to ask for them to arrange for a tech to come and check it but they insisted they had fixed it.The grid voltage is around 254-255 when the inverters shutt down so i know its no were near ...Read more

Smooth installation
170029. The contractors arrived when they said and installed the 32 panels, having it all up and running in the allotted day and a half, despite light drizzle at times.

Panels installed.....still not connected!
Sunboost were more than happy to take my parent's money for solar panels. Following payment, they had to repeatedly contact them to find out when they were being installed....which eventually happened. That was 7 weeks ago....and they am STILL waiting for them to be connected! They have sent numerous emails and made phone calls to find out what is going on - response from Sunboost is SILENCE. Unacceptable!

Rip off service tactics - Be warned
My system trips out every time it rains. I paid $300 up front for a for a service. The technician reset the error logs and provided a quote to inspect and repair the sytem which included 'inspect the cabinet for signs of water ingress.' So the $300 I paid service I paid for did not include him inspecting the cabinet. I effectively paid $300 for their guy to come out and provide a quote. Extremely dissappointed. Never been ripped off so badly on a service call before.

Ref INV 19120. I paid $300 for a service and I only received a .png file indicating work which is recommended to be carried out. Not even a proper quote. I thought I was paying for a technician to at ... Read more
least attempt to resolve the issues. $300 should have paid for a couple of hours work, but no attempt was made to inspect the cabinet for signs of water. In fact there is no evidence that a service technician even attended the premises. Please provide some form of evidence that a service technician attended the premises at 42 Hargreaves Road, Middleton. I expect that this would include a dated and signed service report from the technician who attended. If you cannot provide this, I demand a full refund of the $300. New Solar
Installation team advised time and day of installation and arrived on time. Due to the virus problem, the young man leading the crew rang the doorbell and stepped well back. The job was done quickly and neatly and the site left tidy.

Great Install but terrible Customer Service
Sent 2 emails and made 3 calls to make sure installer knew about unusual things about our install e.g. High BAL Assessment (Special flashing needed to go on roof) and High Wind Classification (N3 - 180kph wind meaning more rails to hold down panels). SunBoost would not tell us the name or phone number of the installer or get the installer to contact us. dering they had to travel about 300 kilometres to do the job it was only pure luck they could do the install. The installers, Launceston Electrical Solutions, took care of everything and nothing was a problem for them. I was very happy in how professional and organised they were. Sunboost only instals panels standing up not laying down because it uses more rails. We needed to have them laying down so we could fit all of the panels on our roof. This and the extra rails for the high wind area cost us an extra $1000 which was not expected due to SunBoost not doing any inspection of our roof before installation and not telling us they only install panels standing up. I would highly recommend the installers but not SunBoost.1 comment

Poor Communication
Beginning to wonder if I have made the right decision to go with Sunboost.
I have been given the run around for weeks and the communication is dreadful.
My job keeps getting delayed, wondering if it will ever happen.
They are not a member of the Clean Energy Council as they claimed.
Ask where they are and told in Sydney, I doubt it.
Generally not happy so far.

Fantastic.Free power every day.
The price for Sunboost to supply and install our 10kw system was fantastic. Job number 169710
The installer ON TOP electrical were also fantastic as they arrived on the time and date as stated in the contract. These workers were very polite and courteous when asked questions and they worked fast and cleaned up when finished. Still waiting on the power company to install our smart meter but will try to hurry them up in the tomorrow.
Would recommend this system to anyone that is after a solar system for a cheap price and a quantity installer.

Great installation crew
Johan and his crew were very cooperative and said what they were going to do, followed by doing what they said they would do. They worked with us to get the ideal location for the panels. They cleaned up after themselves and were courteous throughout.

well organised operation with competent staff
Amazingly well organised installation crew. 6.6 Kw system installed in one afternoon. Consulted with me on arrival and were very flexible regarding the positioning of the panels and other matters.
Had an issue with the Wi-Fi monitoring connection to my computer and a simple phone call had a technician walk me through the solution. Very satisfied with the company so far

The installation was done professionally and efficiently. It was done in one day and with no disruption in our house. When one of the installers failed to come, Jerry arranged immediately another installer. Jerry was in contact with us, provided his direct phone number and was personally interested if the other installer arrived and done everything in order. He found really great team of local electritions.

I had an unbelievably great experience with sunboost from the first phone enquiry to follow up phone calls all great customer service. My Order was 176238
It rained yesterday and the installer rang to check weather before coming to the site. Installer arrived at 10:00am and finished before 4:30PM. Very professional installers and high quality panels. They removed old damaged solar system as well.
At handover, around 3:45pm, on a partially sunny arvo, the system was generating between 3.6kw and 5.3kw. Its a 6.6Kw system that was installed.

I have just arranged a 6.6Kw solar system for my mother in law in Rutherford NSW. She had it installed yesterday but still waiting for the power company to install the smart meter. She is very happy with the installation crew and I was very happy with the cost for one, and the process from start to finish was pretty seamless. I can only say that I had a good experience and was quoted about half the cost of other installers. It gets pretty confusing with panel quality etc but we just went with what we could afford. If the warranty is there and it is, I couldn't see a problem. So from someone that has just gone through the process with my mother in law and have started the installation process with my own parents I can assure you that at least in the Maitland/Hunter region you won’t be disappointed.
