Drops out constantly, speed varies wildly. under the directions of the installer we installed the modem upstairs because he said wifi travels down better than up. We use wifi 95% downstairs, now all devices are at a snails pace downstairs and OK upstairs. Waste of time and money and couldn’t be more frustrating!!!!!!

UNRELIABLE
I've only been with Uniti for the past 3.5 months and I have been permanently disconnected 3 times, where I had to call them up to investigate the issue. Resolving issues takes 3-4 days each time.
Speeds are great when it's working, but I seriously don't know why they can't seem to manage a single issue, which now keeps recurring every 1-2 months.
Don't even talk about billing. They've sent me the wrong amount 3 times too.
Calling them involves at least 30 mins to an hour wait.

Fixed!
I initially wrote a very negative review when my internet service failed after Uniti took over our internet services. Although I did have some difficulty initially in getting in contact with Uniti once I did the technicians I spoke to were very helpful. It did take a couple of days to fix because it turns out part of the problem was the connection in my home. It had worked with the previous provider but the connection was apparently weak and it failed on transfer of the service. The technician that attended my home replaced the connection. Inside had rusted - no doubt an issue of age and the fact we live close to the sea. So I am no a very happy camper. Thank you.

Over-promise and Under-deliver
In our initial dealings, we were assured of a number of things, including the installation costs being waived and the router being reduced to its manufacturing costs. The next day when chasing this up for an update we were then told how that could no longer be honoured but every attempt would be made to fast track the process for the set up to be organised. I have found this company to be inflexible and rigid across all dealings with a proven money hungry approach which actually makes them a lot more desperate than other internet providers who aren’t as frugal. Call backs are also not carried out with constant unnecessary chasing. They also refer on their website to no lock in contracts which is completely misleading as their contracts are fixed for at least 12 months and in the event that you don’t enter into a contract, the activation fee actually amounts to the term of the contract.2 comments

Zero Customer Service
We engaged this company to provide an internet service for our business. The speed of the internet under their service was so bad that there were days when we couldn't conduct our business. Pablo was an amazing representative provided excellent customer service!
I have been a happy customer who didn’t even realise I was out of contract until I called as I got my 75% limit & was worried as recently started working from home! Pablo took control of my call he recognised I was a long standing customer asked his manager to approve if I could stay within my budget and to go on a unlimited plan for 12 months! I was over the moon! To have the support and help handled by Pablo was beyond my expectations! Given how hard things are right now it was great customer service Pablo was amazing thank you so much!

Honesty Review, 4 years ago excellent ISP now the worst
Been an uniti customer since they started, fasted internet on the market. Now 2020 I cant say this is the case, since they've gotten popular they seem to not have the capacity to deliver more towers always outages, and internet drop outs, not enough tech support out to fix the issues. This has been happening in the last two years, and now the COVID pandemic everyone is working from home which puts more of a strain to the already inundated towers (ports). issues which is dropout and speed and as they don't have many towers to separate all the congested traffic. Countless reviews before me have stated their frustrations and concerns about their promised speeds seems like nowadays this company only cares about their KPI's and how much money they can line their pockets with. Fast, efficient service from initial call, through sales chat, receipt of router and wiring of my property.
All good so far - only been connected for 10 days but in comparison to other ISPs, initial dealings were prompt, efficient and effective ! Property wired and connected within the day.

Solid speeds at any hour
We live in an estate (Sandhurst) were apparently quite a few customers are not happy with their connection, but we are not one of them. We pretty much always get the maximum speeds and low ping latency (2 ms), even in the busy evenings. Support seems OK with email being answered within 24 hours, your milage may vary. We've had a few instances were for example a truck hit the overhead fibre cable out of the estate, but it didn't take long for a repair team to fix the problem. So far so good!

We are a big family with lots of people using the internet everyday, it is a very reliable connection, fast and strong connection as well, never had any issues with the internet or the company, highly recommend. Very happy customer indeed

Overpromised and underdelivered
The service is below par in speed and service promised. Constantly below 25mbps and regular drop-outs. The company refuses to accept the numerous issues are real. Next stop is the ombudsman.

One of the best companies around
Setting up the service was such a breeze.
Customer service was quick helpful and polite.
I will never go to a different company.
I recommend uniti to anyone and everyone.
They always have great deals on internet too.

Used to be a great service, now extremely poor, unusable, unreliable
We have been with Uniti for around 3 years now, signed up just after Womadelaide when they were promoting themselves heavily. Service was excellent then now its shocking. Cannot get through to customer service, wait forever on the phone. Net drops out daily. They state they have got tower issues in our area of Gilles Plains, but nothing is ever improving. I use my phone to bunny hop off my mac for the internet, not ideal as i don't have much GB per month. Asked for a refund for bad service, still not received it. I would not sign up for ...Read more

Patchy, drop outs, unreliable.
The concept sounded great, but the actual service was ordinary. It got to a point that my wife’s phone internet was going over by $30-$40 a month because the Wi-Fi from Uniti was that unreliable.
To top it off, when I cancelled this dreadful service, they charged me $750 cancelling fees. Criminals!

Terrible customer service.
No internet all day as service on tower but back on at 5:00pm. Now 9:00pm with no Internet and help desk is now closed. Worst customer service from this mob.

Terrible!!!
No one get this terrible internet company they dont listen to emails and have terrible net. We have to restart the internet every day because it stops working and the technicians have left all live wires out for anyone to touch. We pay for 90:90 and get 5 upload and download im telling you please save your money!

Was good - now terrible
Signed up 18 months ago and it was great - fast speeds but since the IPO and Sell Out it's gone downhill faster than an olympic skier
Terribly slow support response (months and months to resolve), bad speeds during peak and so many dropouts and interruptions. Down for long periods of time.

They used to be great, then they kicked out the creators of the company and then they’ve gone downhill ever since. The last the service has buffered every day, and tonight it won’t even stream music...

Gone downhill AVOID!!
Been with Uniti for 4 years and I hate to say it but wouldn’t recommend to anyone now. Connection drops out all the time, support is non existent, ping is terrible for gaming. Please avoid the headache and steer clear. When Che and Sasha were in charge it was great but since they got the boot it’s gone downhill fast.

Shocking connection with no support
Paying for 100/50Mbps, receiving 1/7. Connection has been intermittent since 13/12. Sent support request on 20/12 & 22/12 - first response from Uniti on 27/12 requesting Router reboot and no response once I advised that Router had been restarted many times.
Can’t wait to move away when NBN is installed in June 2020!

It's just so upsetting to watch the slide in this company. What tech company only provides services when it suits them and not based on customer needs? Even the tiny ones have staff on-call - but not Uniti. If you have an issue after 10pm it's just bad luck for you.
They have also stopped responding on Facebook and email. Even online chat is a joke - you are number 1 in the queue and you wait over 20 minutes for someone to join and then they ignore you for 15 minutes and come back and say "i'm dealing with 5 other customers why don't you just phone"!! I know they sacked their 2 founders in February and that is about when I noticed the dramatic slide in service. I have tried for 6 days to get a response and not a thing yet - and it's major - I'm moving house so need answers to get things sorted.

I don’t know but logic would suggest that they could take down the redundant tower/dish and possibly use at least one of the anchor points. Worth asking initially the question
