Awesome fridge
Just bought this fridge yesterday from JBHiFi, absolutely love it no regrets !!! I'm so happy with the the extra freezer compartment i needed it as i go thru alot of frozen foods and so much space !!
Purchased in August 2021 at JB Hi-Fi Retail Stores for $2,300.00.

compressor not working after a year
worst costumer service i ever dealt with! really?! agents been passing me around for 2 days promised me for a call back, wanted to talked to supervisor plenty of alibi!

Extremely disappointed !!!!!!
Bought a Westinghouse fridge WSE 6100SE keeps oozing distgusting black goo at the bottom. The Good Guys or Westinghouse expect us to keep the fridge after dodgy repairs. Not good enough. The last Westinghouse I will buy.
Purchased in June 2021 for $1,500.59.

Great fridge so far but be careful of Westinghouse service dept.
I swore I would never buy Westinghouse again after eventually replacing whole kitchen full of new appliances in new house over a few years. My wife insisted on a new Westinghouse WHE7074SA fridge because of its features and storage and it does look very good. Had it delivered and installed and after two hours, opened the fridge and it was full of water. Massive leak from water filter housing. Contacted Westinghouse who insisted that the water filter wasn't in properly and that it was my fault. Absolute rubbish. Contacted Harvey Norman Ballarat ...Read more
who also contacted Westinghouse and they were told the same, my fault. HN sent someone out and they took one look and said they send a replacement fridge straight away. Great stuff HN. So far so good with the replacement, great looking fridge, quiet and lots of fridge and freezer space. Recently purchased the 702L Westinghouse Stainless Steel French Door (WHE7074SA) - ...
Bought this fridge for the french door, drawer layout.
This is by far the noisiest fridge we have ever owned!!!!
Had both a Maytag and Samsung in exactly the same position in the kitchen (with good ventilation all around) and neither of them made the continual constant noises that this westinghouse makes.

Is the water from this fridge chilled? I would have assumed so but it's not on the slightly smaller but similar WHE6060sa. In that one it's room temp strange as that seems.

na! not chilled, gladly the fridge was taken out and refunded under warranty, bought the LG with linear compressor 10yr warranty
Thanks! I can't understand why they'd make a fridge for Australia with unchilled water.
It's also interested that they don't mention that it's not chilled water. They don't say that it is, but most people would assume it was. Certainly I would have. I'll avoid this one.

Was thinking of buying the westinghouse fridge WHE 7074SA in a month as we are doing up our kitchen. The space and features the fridge was impressive. The poor customer service if something goes wrong is very worrying to me reading the reviews. We will go for another brand that has great customer service.

I'm not sure I would buy a Westinghouse. We bought model no. WSE6100SF and had a lot of trouble with black goo oozing out of the door. It took us 18 months to finally get some compensation and we didn't get a new fridge for nothing we had to pay $500 and this was through consumer affairs a long process. So the service is terrible so I couldn't recommend Westinghouse.
