Do we pay the vet bill first or do we claim the bill at time of treatment

You pay the bill first and if our experience is anything to go by, will spend the next 30 days (and counting) chasing a response when they decline your claim. You then request more information and the whole process starts again. Shop around!

Jenasked
Utterly disappointed with Woolworths insurance. My puppy got attacked by another dog and there was a knock effect from the anti inflammatories he had to take for his neck. We ended up in emergency
And that visit to emergency specialist wasnt covered as consultations not covers? Isnt that for standard vet consultantions not GI hospital emergencies?
Then we went to a gastroenterologist
That appointment wasnt covered either.
So beware when they list the items like things like emergency, accidental, gastrointestinal to be covered
Theyre not. So disappointed that they still try to get out of paying when it was as a result of my dog being attacked :(

Don't waste your money on these con artists, Jen. They will do/say anything to get out of paying. They even think they are above and know more than highly qualified vets. They are nothing more than brain dead and incompetent pen pushers.
Hope you precious baby is ok.

So i had d the insurance fir one year $26.13 rebews automatically and rates jump to $32.58 how is that possible? Going to look elsewhere.

Their pricing is increasing rapidly, they said it's because they pay out alot.
Hi Nadine, this policy will become expensive if they keep upping the premiums like that. Definitely shop around and keep an eye on what excess you have to pay. That's what I found appalling with this policy.
Customer Service R.Woolworths Pet Insurance
Hello Nadine, Thank you for sharing your experience with Woolworths Pet Insurance. In regards to your query, premium increase due to many factors, for example you might have a discounted on the first year of the policy due to promotions, which doesn't apply on the renewal. Therefore, if you wish to discuss further in regards to your pet insurance policy, please kindly contact us on 1300 10 1234 and one our agents will gladly assist you. Thank you.
