If you are after the speed of a flagship phone but want to pay less than half the price this phone is for you.
Pros:
- Cheap for the specs you get
- Runs very fast
- Battery life is great
- Photos are amazing (using modified for poco GoogleCam App)

Many bugs, most annoying is wifi connection without internet, even though the router is connected to internet
screen misreponding, phone restarted without reasons, slow screen rotating, the xiaomi user layer added to android has too many junk apps, which can't be removed. so the xiaomi junk app+google android junk app= too many, some of them are running on background consuming the hardware resources, slowdown phones.

Good value budget phone
i have been using Poco f1 since Jan this year .
Positives-
Excellent speed(845 snapdragon)
Batterylife ( battery lasts for whole day with moderate internet use)
Fast charge ( reach 100% in one hr and 15 mnts)
Built quality is ok ( had few drops and survived . i have been using synthetic mobile cover for protection)
Negatives-
Display could be better. Under bright sunlight one struggles a bit to read or see the screen .
Camera could be better under low light. Perfect during daylight though.
Overall, its ok for $450 aud .If you can add $150 i would recommend google's latest pixel series.

Take the leap
Made the leap from other "top-of-the-line" phone manufacturer based on specs vs price.
I was wary at first and initially disliked the OS skin, but once used to it feels more natural than HTC, Samsung and naked Android OS.
Positives
+ Fast. Very fast. Even with their skin, it boots, closes and runs heavy apps without an issue and much faster when compared to friend/family's phones (2019 model Samsung, Google Pixel, HTC).
+ Camera is above average and certainly more than enough in general.
+ Battery is huge and lasts. Very nice.
+ Size. Phone is...Read more

Brilliant phone and brilliant price
I got this phone because it seemed to have lots of premium features but at a great budget price. Since having it I've really appreciate the screen size, the headphone jack, and the battery life. During a work day when I use it alot it lasts all day comfortably, over the weekend it maybe needs charging just once.
The phone has a great processor and apps are smooth and responsive with little lag (although I haven't used it for many games or anything like that).
I find the camera pretty good but not necessarily amazing.
When I got it I was usin...Read more
g MIUI which seemed pretty good and I could have stayed with it. If you install a custom launcher (like Nova) you'd really be fine. But in the end I flashed a new rom (Pixel Experience). I wouldn't recommend this for a casual user! The new rom has been great too.Purchased in April 2021 at TobyDeals for A$357.00.

Xaomi pocophone is awesome
For the money you would not beat this.Impressively fast and multiple tasks a breeze.Camera is great. UI has a few issues, but is updated constantly. No bloatware. No NFC is bad, but I can live around that. Stays cool, has decent battery life on high brightness and excellent on battery saving settings. Plastic exterior is not an issue with the cover. Perfect size, not overly big and isn't a phablet like some have reviewed. Has qualcomm 4+ charging capability, but you need to purchase a PD or at least 3.0 charger to benefit. This phone has a fla...Read more
gship chip and is a quarter the price. Overall for my $460 au I'm impressed. Apparently you can find it even cheaper if you shop around and the global version is compatible with Aus network. I would recommendPurchased in March 2021 at Catch for A$460.00.

Xiaomi Pocophone F1 64GB
My Pocophone F1 is value for money. For under AUD$500 you can't go wrong here. It's fast, built well and stylish. It came with a phone cover and Australian charger. The outer shell is very good quality, the screen is beautiful - full HD. The only downside is that the camera is not as good quality as an iPhone for example - but that is to expected when it is $1000 cheaper. Having said that the camera is still excellent. I've been taking videos and vlogging and it does the job. The gorilla glass is great. I have no problems with the operating sys...Read more
tem. Two other great features would be that it is dual sim (great for travelling overseas) and it has an SD card slot to upgrade your memory space. I would recommend this phone to anyone that doesn't care about having superficial brands. Update: Have had this phone for 6 months and absolutely love it. Battery is the best!! I basically never worry about my phone going flat.Purchased in November 2021 at Catch for A$480.00.
