Have been doing on line chat to clarify some things Hanna was extremely helpful, thanks Hanna

After Reading a few reviews, I noticed that Customers were giving 5 Stars without having a Claim....They were voting the " Chat-Line ". I sent a Question on a Subject
and never got an Answer... So would they Answer, if you have a Claim ? Found some Interesting Reviews, later.

Contacted Hanna to ask about extending the travel insurance on my wife who is in St Louis looking after our grandkids as their mother is very ill. Hanna was so helpful and gave me an idea of the cost and promised a specific quote when I have an accurate return date. Great service

When using chat Hana was very helpful. We have used 1 Cover for many years now, not leave home without it. Great service, exceptional if make a claim. Only Insurers I would recommend.

The policy was good value and easy to set up.

I was completing my application online and it wouldn't submit. Both times I used the chat function, Ruby was the operator and she patiently worked me through the process until I had my cover in the inbox

When using the chat facility Ruby provided a super quick response to my questions. The information was specific to my circumstances and very useful. Happy about the service I received. I will use this company again in the future.

my husband I were recently in the U.S. holidaying when unfortunately my husband required emergency surgery. He was in hospital for almost 3 weeks where he was extremely well cared for. 1Cover was so easy, efficient & pleasant for us to deal with. It seemed as though throughout this difficult time that our welfare was their primary concern. There was no expense spared with either the medical costs (considerable) or our accomodation. Found this company the best for insurance prior to covid and especially now that travel has restarted. We had multiple credit vouchers that they have honoured with not problems. They have extended expiration dates also. Great for travelling with a person with medical conditions. They cover us when other have not. Thank you 1cover for your great service.

I somehow entered the incorrect travel dates. 1Cover was prompt in responding to address my issue and corrected the dates instead of me having to cancel and reapply.

A god outcome for me having contracted covid less than a week before going on trip.

You never know how good insurance is until you have to make a claim! 1Cover responded to us in their prescribed timeframe and our payout was made within 15 days. Yes it was a bit frustrating to have to upload all the information they needed but its a pretty good online system and we are both over 60 but managed to get through it! I would recommend them 100%. This is the seventh time we have used them and first time we had to claim. Well done!

I was concerned about who could be included under the one policy, as it is myself, my daughter and my granddaughter travelling. Took out comprehensive travel insurance for my brother who is Aspergers Syndrome. Luggage was lost for over a week with Qantas carrier. In the interim he had to purchase a shaver toothpaste toothbrush and moisturizer as all lost in his baggage. Not a big ask..around $450. Spent hours providing One Cover with required information clearly providing Qantas Carrier Ref number for loss itinerary receipts etc..but One Cover kept requesting same information again...quite frankly deflecting a simple claim for compensation. Do not use this company..they seem to go out of their way to find an excuse not to cover a very simple claim.

My cruise was cancelled Cruise coy gave full refund, when I applied to 1Cover to refund the amount I paid for the actual travel insurance it was very difficult. The amount of personal documentation required was extraordinarily excessive. Cruise Coy cancelling/bank statement showing cruise coy refund/my passport/ another phot of myself/my bank details showing pmyt to 1Cover/Cruise itinerary...then they said No. I said I was going to Con.Affairs as I had paid them for a service they had not supplied. Then theypaid up. Never again.

The policy was everything I needed it to be. Our trip had been postponed 3 times and the staff were super polite and easy to deal with.

The pol;cy was very easy to acquire on line. The policy covered all aspects of our expected travel. We lodged a claim and it was finalized well within the time frames given to us. We have used this company twice.

I have used 1Cover for regular overseas travel for well over a decade. I made one small claim (dental issue) probably 15 years ago. I have never made another claim.
I was the victim of a pickpocket in London in July.
1Cover have made 7 (SEVEN!) new requests for information or documentation, (some unreasonable) each time stalling the outcome for another 10 days. My claim is not huge. Cost in man hours to them would far exceed any payout. My opinion: not dealing with me in good faith.
It's all very easy until you actually make a claim

Took policy out for my son who already had travel insurance I wanted more comprehensive cover turns out because I took the policy out when he had already left his POLICY was void… they knew it was a policy being taken out while he had already left took the money Shameful company Go elsewhere theses are shonks
He explained he had to return early for his sick dog- and told he could only claim $400 for the vet bill however he claimed it and no surprise- Sorry void policy
Have engaged AFCA and will take it to ombudsmen as the policy was explained thoroughly- 1cover went to the small print buyer beware here

To complete a claim they wanted proof of purchase for a cpap machine I bought from an operator that doesn’t exist any more. Impossible but they didn’t care and I couldn’t complete the claim. Pathetic.

1Cover is super easy to setup and the customer service people on their CHAT function are so friendly and helpful. Thanks Ruby for your help just now. We have been using 1Cover since 2018. Their premiums are super competitive and inclusions very thorough. Makes us feel confident travelling with this cover.

My wife and I needed to change dates of travel. 1 Cover was easy to contact and responded within good time with instructions regarding the process. A new policy was forwarded in a timely manner. Happy with the process

I have used 1Cover for years and I have never been disappointed. They were also incredibly understandable during the Covid pandemic and are always unbeatable price wise for what you get with the policy.

I have provided police report on theft overseas and have provided every single details required. Travelled in 1st week of Aug and every week since the claim I have to sent email to the generic CS email to follow up on my claim progress and all I hear is that due to large amount of claim we extended our response time for another 10 days
It has been going on for 6 weeks now and no RESPONSE!! the worst is they don’t have a CS phone number to talk to anyone. No one takes any responsibility of the claim you lodge and you stay in the limbo.

Have used 1 Cover on all travel overseas (6 times prior Covid) especially to South East Asia (Thailand).
Prior to Covid I was due to travel but all was locked down for nearly 2 years. 1 Cover gave a credit which lasted till now. On buying a policy for October trip and using my credit something went wrong and credit was not deducted from new policy.
On contacting 1 Cover (email) I was very impressed with the reply, in as so much they were willing to refund the credit amount. Very impressed.
Will be hard for me to use any other travel insurance policy from other companies.

Lost my luggage in Vancouver and lodged a claim online. However, it’s impossible to follow up because they don’t take calls by phone. Emails go unanswered for several days at a time. When I bought some clothes, because all I had were the ones on my back, 1Cover wants me to produce receipts for my original clothes. Who keeps receipts for those things. I’m out of pocket a really need that money back for bills etc, but still waiting after a couple of weeks. There’s zero sense of urgency with this company. Best to avoid them and go with a big, well known insurer. Wish I had.

I have used 1Cover 5 times, luckily I have had no issues & I haven’t had to make a claim.
When speaking to staff either in person or by email they have been very helpful, they know their products & give answers to all questions.
Always good service & with a friendly attitude.
