Worst ever Fubre Optic plan!
I been with Activ8 on the highest plan. 100/4 but all the while only getting around 20 download. The most will get 40 and never up to the limit I subscribed and pay for. Paying extra $30 (total monthly bill is $89.95) but getting worst service than the basic. A lot of time can’t get connected and have to changed to own mobile 4G device till get overused the mobile data and got charges extra.
Felt that I got conned ! Worst Fibre Optic plan ever experienced! Signed up for 24 months and at least half a year to go.

100/40 Plan getting speeds of BARELY 5mbs down, and 25mbs up.. absolute garbage, crap customer support, crap service. Avoid at all costs. This is the worst internet company I have ever been with..

Good guidance from the technical support team
Hi,
I was with iinet and changed to avtive8me last week( march 8th 2020), when i contacted activ8me sales team thay said i do not need to buy a new router, which saved me $98, most of the time providers asked from the customer to buy a router from them, i was pleased with that out come.
After that i have contacted the technical support team to establish my new connection, the pperson i have contact was DAVID, he was very good at his job, he guided me step by step to set up the connection . I am not good at these type of work, but his instructions were clear, of course i did some mistakes but he was ok, Its a good experience .

So bad connection- poor customer service
So bad connection from last 3 days . Called them 4 times but no proper answer . Waiting time is hours . So sick of this company . Very very poor customer service . Connection dropped over 20 times these few days . I can't work from home . Can't do anything, I really want to change my provider ! Don't ever go with this company . The service is so poor . Enough is enough!!!!!!

So poor, not worth paying for
Constant dropouts, extremely slow speed on 100/40 plan getting 15/0. Yes their speed test is indicating my upload speed is zero. Every single time I have ever rung them, their recording tells me they are experiencing More calls then normal or words to that effect. If you elect a call back you don’t always get called. Waited 3.5 hours Saturday before finally accepting option to be called back.
I did get a call this time and they blamed my equipment, despite the fact at times I get high 80’s download speed and 20’s upload speed.

Terrible technical support team!
I tell u guys, their technical support team NEVER answer your calls. I signed up with Activ8me last week and paid for set up fee. I got my wifi router yesterday but i had a problem with setting up the router. I tried to contact their help team, and a taff from sale team said she will transfer me to technical sup team. I waited in line for 3 hours and no one from technical team answered my call, so i selected a call back. However, I haven't received any call back from their technical team yet since yesterday.
I will wait a few more hours. If there is still no call back till tomorrow morning, byebye Activ8me, bye. I will move to other providers.

WORST COMPANY
Signed up with them had no service and didn't even use the internet as it was impossible to load a page i cancelled straight away and changed providers and told them i wasn't paying $70 for a month I never used. Now they have taken me to a debt collector to pay $70!!!! What a joke !! Maybe provide internet and people will pay you idiots!!!

Slowest internet speed....my mobile phone internets speed was wayyy better....dnt waste your money
We've had this ripped off for about a year plus...
And im shoppin around to change...the internet speed is soo slow....I usually just end up using my mobile hotspots...what a complete ripped and waste of money...for 69 bucks a month....lemme say it's not worth it

Disgusting service and crap reception
When i first connected over 2 yrs ago speed was good for a few months then all of a sudden went to crap. Dropping in and out every 10 seconds. I rang to upgrade to super sonic speed. Pffft yea right its even worse. I set up a direct debit payment to be constantly wacked with a 15 dollar payment fee for funds not being there meanwhile there was no direct debit even done it had been done like it was a credit card. back with this company again once i find a better provider December 24th 2022 Update: Disgusting service. Do not use you Disgusted at the service. I have been with the company for 2 years and 6months I moved house 6months ago and they restarted a new contract. U am travelling so ordered a disconnection for this month to be told I owe an additional 250 for terminating the contract. After speaking with his supervisor I was informed that it was myproblen and regardless I owe the 250. That's how they repay their loyal customers who move homes. A new contract is started. Even after saying I ain't ever be back with these ppl again the gentleman on the phone said OK and basically bugger you we don't care. Am going to the new internet company belong as they have said its wrong what they have done to me. Good speed
Good service and speed but at times specially during long weekends it stopped working and the customer service number also goes off during that time. Otherwise the service is very good and reliable. It happened 3times in 1 year so not bad.

They Couldn't fix the connection since the beginning, Internet was never connected to any devices.
Only monday to friday until 8pm for technical support.
Poor customer service.

up to your expectations. Our technical support is available 365 days a year, with the weekend hours indeed slightly different, from 8AM till 5PM AEST.Don't worry about that, i have signed up with other provider and all extremely good.

Do not sign up. Stay well away
Customer beware do not sign up to activ8me. Both customer service and internet service is extremely poor. Daily speed loss, multiple testing with reps and no resolution. Absolutely appalling company.

Reliable most of the time
Opticomm had a hardware fail and it showing was on their site as an outage which subsequently took longer to rectify that was first stated.
However the outage wasn't showing on the Activ8me web site, I called Activ8me and they didn't know about the outage. I can't understand why these 2 companies didn't talk to one another as the outage wasn't on the Activ8me website.
Activ8me should be more upfront and show the Outage section along side the Support option as it would make it easier to find why the internet isn't working.

man made system and it'll have problems from time to time, I would suggest Activ8me should make it easy to find a problem when one occurs rather than bury it under the Support area, as it's not support you're want but information quickly and easily. As a result of not knowing what was happening I called Aciv8me twice, they called back 3 times, I called Opticomm who helped immediately as their website was upfront with the problem. All this could have been avoided if the outage was easy to find on Activ8me's web site and if Opticomm and Activ8me communicated between themselves.1 comment

Excellent service, knowledgeable friendly staff
Have an Opticomm internet fibre connection to our home, and when we moved in ten days ago the connection was seamless and trouble free, after 10 days we lost internet due to Opticomm Fibre fault in area, but Active8me and Jim in particular helped and advised us in an attempt to correct the problem, and then booked the fault with Opticomm, who attended to it ASAP, cannot fault the after care service provided, would recommend Activ8me to anyone....keep up good work.

Perfect customer service
I had their Opticomm fibre connection. I went through lots of problems through activation since the previous tenant did not terminate his service, but the customer support was really helpful and supportive. Great company and service
