I have known Allianz even before coming to Australia and they are reliable. I am a firm believer of insurance. The application was fast and easy, no issues. Reasonably priced too!

Twice, the first time, Mrs. had asthmatic attach, ended up in emergency department for treatment, the money I paid was claimed back in full. This time we were fine, no claim mad.

My insurance was purchased on line each time. It was quick to answer all the questions and very quick to obtain the insurance document itself. I have used Allianz perhaps half a dozen times. Good value each time

Very good for the price and the coverage was what I wanted, better prices than other companies and I have all my cars, tailor and contents with Allianz also. Great service

This is the first time we used Allianz for travel insurance.

Thankfully we didn't need to claim anything. Setting up online was easy however disappointed that whilst in the USA couldn't get in contact with anyone to extend. (Rang U.S. number however they could not help and was instructed to call Aus number ...difficult when you're O.S.! Turns out the Aus only take calls during business hours Monday to Friday and they were closed. With no way to extend online or over phone it meant that my husband (who had to extend stay due to his mother's passing) was not covered for the last part of his trip which was stressful.

Didn't need the insurance as had no issues traveling. Insurance was respectably priced. Allianz employee David Lynch in Newcastle was very helpful answering questions, as well as suggesting the snow-sports add on.

Found this insurance cover equal or better than others out in the market place. Price comparison with other insurance company's this wins hands down. I am confident that IF having to make a claim all would proceed smoothly.

This is the 4th or 5th time we have used Allianz. For its represented good value. The staff have always been helpful covering health issues and our age. The follow up after our return has been thoughtful.

Our baggage was missing then it was delayed and they decline the claim unreasonably. It took a long time for them to reply and ended up a waste of time talking with them.

Very easy to use and affordable plan for a one off overseas trip. Covered everything I may have needed. Used this company twice in the last 3 years and both times haven't needed to claim.

Great value and comprehensive cover included for my partner and I, especially as we were heading to the USA. We shopped around and found the best deal with Allianz yet again.

We have found this travel insurance to be economical and to meet our requirements well. Fortunately we have not needed to make a claim so cannot comment on how this is handled. I appreciated the emails with tips prior to our departure. This is the second time I have used Allianz travel insurance and will certainly do so in the future.

I have an unusual medical condition which was not adequately covered in the online questionnaire.
I suffered no ill effects on my trip but was not covered for this condition. The telephone conversation with the consultant was just as inflexible.
Disappointing.

Booked a trip with An HSBC credit card that provided Allianz travel insurance. Father died (not travelling) so cancelled trip. Alliance won’t pay because father had a preexisting condition. What does that have to do with us cancelling our plans? Devastated and hugely out of pocket. If I did not have travel insurance I would have simply postponed travel so as not to lose out. Do not use this company for travel insurance.

Really easy to get the right coverage and at a great price. Covers me for everything i need and all information is emailed and provided to you. Will be using again

I had an issue after purchasing the policy online, i noticed an error with one of the 2 people on the policy with an incorrect date of birth. I sent an email straight away on the 22/1/20 asking how to correct the issue.
The policy commenced on the 26/1/20 to the USA. I received a response by email on the 28/1/20 informing me the change had to be requested by the person in question even though i took out the policy with the answer 2 days after the person in question had left the country,

I believe I should have been allowed a refund when the trip was cancelled a couple of weeks before due to fire threat. I cancelled trip well before travel, but could not get a refund! Surely this is unreasonable.
