If it is still under warranty, better have the technician look into it. Otherwise, don't waste your time. If just over 2 years old, ask the retailer to either have it fixed or have it replaced. Under the Australian Consumer Law, the retailer has the responsibility to give you remedy for a defective product that they sell. They should not refer you to the manufacturer.

The rubber around front of the dishwasher keeps coming away whenever the racks are pulled out. Have tried ringing but do not have the time to wait forever to speak to someone. Extremely frustrating as I always have to push it back into grooves. Any suggestions?

After 4 months I took the my Billini dishwasher back to Bunnings and asked for a full refund, and received it, as the product had continual problems, this is the only answer i can recommend for Billini dish washers, as their service call back was non existent, Bunnings need to ditch the brand, but to their credit they did give a full refund, when I turned up to the front; returns and refund counter, with the dish washer. They were polite, I told them I was not happy with it, as i had continual problems and they refunded, no further questions.

Thank you very much for responses. I am going to try the Selleys Seal Fix and if no luck with that I will be returning it to Bunnings for a refund.

Hi Gina,
Sorry Mine was so bad that I ditched it and bought a Miele after just a month, so didn't encounter your particular problem, but I am sure I would have eventually lol. Good luck with it!

My machine is 3 years old and is halfway through a wash when the beeping and flashing of the padlock symbol and 6h symbol bring the cycle to a halt. I left the dishwasher turned off for days and when starting it, the same occurred. I don't have the manual. Any ideas?

Did you ever resolve this issue as I am now having the same problem.

For anyone who has a similar problem, this specific error indicates that there is a problem with the heading element (abnormal heating). I have no idea what that means specifically, except that you will likely need to get the machine serviced / replaced / thrown off a bridge. This is all in the manual, which you can find at the following address (search for the model number): http://www.belliniappliances.com.au/cooking/useandcare.aspx

Page 19 of the manual should have a list of all the error codes and what they mean. Hope that helps.

We bought a home that had just had the kitchen refurbished. New dishwasher, oven & stove-top... all Bellini. All items were brand-new, as they all still had the packing materials in/around them. No problems as yet with the stove-top or oven, but the dishwasher is proving to be a nightmare!!!
1st problem was the door-lock. Rang the warranty line, explained the problem (door wouldn't shut) and they arranged for a local service certre to recitfy the problem by installing a new door-lock..... Upon speaking to the service tech, he said it's a common fault!!! 2nd problem has occured with a full machine of dishes ( of course).... The "tap" icon lights up, regardless of other settings, and have visually checked the hose fittings, with nothing found leaking.
Q. Is this an 'easy' fix, or do I have to go through all the with phone calls and wait times? n.b. We have only been in the home for 8 months, and used the d/washer only about 2 dozen times total. :(

I had the same issue. You need to get a replacement part and have a tech install it. That was my first issue. The replacement part did not solve it so they had to replace the whole dishwasher - sorry.

Wish I read these before we went and bought the Bellini dishwasher from Bunnings!! My daughter has one and said it was good and she hasn't had any trouble with it! We have only owned it for TWO weeks and it hasn't washed anything properly yet! ONE tablet has gone through properly since we had it every single, one just ends up sitting on the floor of the dishwasher! Any advice on if the problem is something I'm doing or if it's the tablets? One lot was Finish Powerball and the other is Logix from Aldi!

Not sure if this will help, but I only fill the dishwasher half to two-thirds. I tend to always use pot scrub or higher on settings, always clean the filter otherwise I end up with grit. I use Costco brand tablets. They are in little plastic packs. Gave up on the boxy finnish style after the same problem after the first go.

I complained to Bunnings about it. Suggest you call local store and say you want the complaint sent to head office as you know that others have complained about the dishwasher and head office has called them back. Not sure what Bunnings will do but if more complain maybe they will do something. I live in Canberra.

We had NO problem with washing tablet used; FINISH POWERBALL. Can only suggest that you may NOT be correctly closing tablet area. Our difficulty with Bellini was the bottom shelf being too large in Three Bellini Dishwashers for fitting correctly. It pulled out the Rubber Door Seal. Yes Bellini replaced it TWO more times from original. NO Refunds. When you put the tablet in place; ensure that the lid is FULLY closed. This is ONLY suggestion we can give. When our THIRD dishwasher after TWO uses was also pulling out the door seal; we went back to Bunnings' . We NOW have a Dishwasher by Fisher Paykel, an ELBA. Working well! Hope thjis helps. DJP

How long have you had the dishwasher?
It is probably the pressure guage that connects to the tap. You can buy the whole pipe and replace. I chose to buy a new one as mine was 4 years old.

Ensure that your rinse aid is always full. As soon as mine gets low the dishes don't dry as well. This is what the rinse aid helps to do. Also run a cleaning agent like CLR through it. That helps clean off any scale in the machine. Dirty water does not rinse off as well.

thanks for your input we have worked the rinse aid part out,but thanks for the heads up on CLR never gave that a thought.Cheers Ian.
