The Southampton facade is beautiful! Vanessa, we actually have two Marseille 32 display homes open with Southampton facades. We have one in the South East at the Clydevale Estate in Clyde North. The other is in the West at Jubilee Estate in Wyndham Vale. Feel free to let us know which home you are referencing and we will provide the colour details you are looking for.

Trev,
Thank you for your question.
A NSW builder by the name of Mojo Homes (mojohomes.com.au) have purchased a few of our home designs and offer them for clientele to purchase.
If you get in touch with them hopefully they have exactly what you're looking for and are able to build in your area of interest.
Thanks, and all the best with your build journey.

Ede,
Thank you for your question!
We purchased both the bar stools and dining chairs from Uniqwa Furniture, who are a trade-only wholesaler. If need be, you could perhaps get in touch with them to see if they can recommend a retailer for you. Hope this helps!

Hi Tracey. Hope this reply isn't too late.

We have the spotted gum timber floor in our Montpellier and couldn't be happier with it. Apart from looking good with grain and colour variations, it's extremely hard and doesn't scratch easily. We have three kids in the early to nearly teens age group plus a big boof headed Golden Retriever who give it a constant work out and no problems with marking or warping (despite more than a few spills) so far.

Thank you so much for replying John! Timing is perfect, we had our showroom tour Sunday & will be doing our colour selection in 2 weeks. Do you find the timber shows up lots of footprints etc? Also are your timber floors matte (that is the only option they seem to have now) and did you get the quad beading? I prefer without. Glad to hear they are hardwearing as we have two older teenagers (work boots!) and dogs.

I belive it is called "Fresh Concrete" The Caesar stone gradient used in the Jubilee display is an upgrade option which you can make at Colours and Contract appointment. I achieved the same look with our Bench Tops and Fireplace using "Osprey" from Category 1. Find our House on Instagram under @muskmanor

Hi there, do boutique offer polished concrete floors as an option? Also, do the floorboards have to have the strip on the skirting boards?

Hi Girl30,
Thank you for your question.
Unfortunately we do not offer polished concrete flooring.
Regarding the beading strip laid against the skirting, there are options available to you to have it removed but only in conjunction with timber flooring.
Your New Homes Consultant will best be able to talk you through your design options for floors. If you don’t yet have a Consultant feel free to get in touch with one by phoning 9674 4500 or email [email protected].

Hello Boutique,
Boutique Homes Official advised Steve on Jan 16 2018 that Boutique offer upfront fixed pricing for up to 15 months to title. We were only given 12 months price protection with our Boutique home and that is due to expire in late Feb 2018, but land developer has still not settled title and expectation is touch and go for a settlement in time for late Feb deadline. Does your 15 months to title advice as per 16 January mean that we could expect a few more months buffer past late Feb for our land to title and still retain price protection ? Please advise. We fear missing the deadline by just a few days potentialy and need to know how much additional cost that will incur, what is the formula? What can be done to request small extension to price protection deadline beyond current 12 months. Thanks kindly, Victorian Customer.

Hi BH,

How long is the price of the house protected from signing a PWC. Is it 12 months and do we have to pay any additional figure if the house will be built within the 12 months of signing the PWC.

Thanks,

Thanks, but how long is the price protected from the date PWC is signed. Is it 12 months? My understanding is that if you think that your land tittle would go past the 12 month then you can pay an extra amount to lock in the price further. But for the initial 12 months post signing PWC we shouldn't be aksed to pay extra amount if the land is getting tittled within 6 to 12 months. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Just a general question. A couple already signed a contract with you when they realized that the *most important* modification/upgrade that they requested was not included in the contract. It has already *been relayed to the agent* during the negotiations but the agent *doesn’t remember hearing it,* thus was not included when the contract was signed. Now, when they asked the agent to include it, they were asked to pay for the variation cost as the contract was already signed. They need your help to make sure that clients are treated *fair and just.* Thank you in advance and God bless boutique homes!

Thanks for your reply. Aside from the their pre-start consultant, is there any other person they could talk to, if possible with capacity to make decisions, since discussions before with the pre-sales resulted to the misunderstandings in the upgrade. Thank you.

Hi Boutique team,

we will be building Montpellier with you in Geelong (land not titled yet). Regarding insulation, your premium inclusions state 'premium insulation for all extenal walls with minimum for R1.5 batts and R3.5 for ceiling'. The recommended R-value in Victoria, for ceilings, is 4.1 and 2.8 for walls. Can you please advise what you mean by minimum? I thought the roof would have the same R-value throughout.

http://www.yourhome.gov.au/passive-design/insulation

I have no building expertise, so please excuse my naivety.

Thanks

1 answer
Boutique Homes
Boutique H.Boutique Homes

Hi Jack,

Thank you for your question. The R1.5 and R3.5 insulation batts are included in the base price of your home, which on some different orientations will achieve a 6 star energy rating, also standard with all of our homes.
During the preconstruction process, once the home is sited on your block and we have a survey to show the neighbouring properties and the potential shadow from neighbouring homes, we then send off for a 6 star energy assessment.

At that point in time your Prestart Consultant will contact you to advise of any additional upgrades that we will be including to your home to achieve our 6 star rating – this is at no extra cost to you. Often this can include items such as insulation upgrades and sometimes double glazing to certain windows.

The YourHome website references insulation if you were to upgrade this only and not have a specific thermal report completed for your home. All Boutique homes have a 6 star energy report completed to ensure we are achieving this overall energy rating and also ensure that we include the right thermal properties in your home.

The minimum levels on the website is the TOTAL R-Value of the wall system (not just the insulation), so this can include brick walls, reflective foil wrap, insulation in the wall, wall plaster etc.

We hope this answers your question. If you would like any further detail, please do not hesitate to contact your New Homes Consultant directly.

-Boutique Homes
