Not what should be expected
Gas Wall Furnaces Ecostar WF30a noisy relay to control ignition and fans instead of a silent FET or IGBT common place in most white goods. fan speed via a resistor. using the above is almost a noise free start and with the correct part selection will be far far more reliable often at a lesser cost.Hint : surface mount IGBT's rated at 600 volts at 8 amps are more cost effective AND fully silent. Read morehave a baring on why you might not have elected to move to this technology. just as simple to have a multi would induction motor with three FETS or IGBTs and why no insulation over a motor winding do you really want to trade winding heat in favour of corrosion and possibly an open circuit motor. I makes me wonder as a tenant, if one should trust your firmware in the key roles of protection for over temperature and carbon monoxide sensing ! especially when a look at the above factors admittedly I only see your retail price but even so in 2020 the build is total risk at this price and I DO agree that with the cost of gas to the consumer there is a high emphasis on efficiency and it can be hard to meet the above in that context. I opten wonder if it might fare better as a fan forced solely hydronically fan forced arrangement having no carbon monoxide problems to content with only a small heat exchanger with temperature sensing,
Failed after 2 years, carbon monoxide
Gas Wall Furnaces Ecostar WF30The furnace was purchased a little over two years ago. We arranged for the first "every two years" service/inspection in May and they detected a significant (7-10ppm) carbon monoxide reading over two different days with two different sensors and told us not to use the heater until repaired.
Braemar asked us to have a second group have a look (at our cost) and if there was an issue then we'd pay again for labour but they'd consider sending the part. So: service #1 + service #2 + labour to fix.
Since it'll cost approximately as much in labour as the furnace originally cost, we're removing it. I wouldn't recommend Braemar furnaces.

Not a good heater
Gas Wall Furnaces Ecostar WF30When heater is set on 5it takes about 4 hours to heat room. room size 16 x 14 feet.
I sit with a rug wrapped around myself.
The installers left a gas leak at the gas metre. Gas company came and fixed that.

Loud and doesn’t heat consistently
Gas Wall Furnaces Ecostar WF30Really loud and clunky, it cuts in and out often, so you’re either way too hot or just as you’re starting to feel warm off it goes and you’re suddenly cold again.

Know better, choose better.
Too noisy for living room. Don't buy.
Gas Wall Furnaces Ecostar WF30Some find this unit too noisy others are ok with it. For me it's the former.
The fan has two manual settings: Boost and Auto. On Boost it is guaranteed extremely noisy.
On Auto it can switch between two fan levels depending on its internal temperature. I think this has to do with the star rating and the cool-touch cabinet design. All heat must be pumped out by fanned air and that can be noisy.
The two fan levels in Auto are lower than Boost and the lower of the two is at an acceptable noise level but it hardly runs at that level. It only run

Gas Wall Furnaces Ecostar WF30You should consider another way to heat your room. This Braemer is extremely noisy and not very good at heating the room. Looks,good but performs below par. You should hear this unit working before you consider installing it. I hope you have better luck with your new heater choice. Happy shopping.
