Love this Vacuum Cleaner, I had heard so many of my friends raving about this Vacuum cleaner, my husband bought it on special at local retailer.
Its been a dream, it cleans really well, its easy to handle and move around.
Really easy to clean.
I love it that it cleans on vinyl floors.
Good arm length on vacuum.
Affordable price cannot live without it.

The Dyson V6 Animal vacuum was purchased in October 2018. It was used on vinyl and carpeted floors. By May 2022 it needed a new battery. This was dispatched by Dyson but on using it, the machine failed again. Dyson service centre advised that sometimes the battery will "short out" the motor! Dyson then sent out a main body, a power pack and a charger - with no instructions on how to assemble the bits, to my aged father - who, due to his poor eyesight, gave up completely. His carer could also not work out how to assemble the bits. I will never purchase another Dyson again.

This vacuum is great for small areas or small houses/apartments which is what we have. I find it handy to grab when I need a quick tidy up. It does run out of battery quickly when using the max power mode. I also find the canister is not always easy to empty if it gets very full. These downsides are all outweighed by the convenience of the vacuum as a whole and also how much dirt and dust it picks up!

Got this to replace the old dc35. Great vacuum as usual. It clean up the dog hair much better. the head dont get clogged up with hair as often due to new design. it also feel lighter so that's a plus. only issue i have found so far is the way to open the dust collector can. it's just feel awkward particularly with 1 hand.

Amazing Vaccum! Was very skeptical to pay the large amount of money for a vacuum when I felt Ike my Kmart vac ‘did the job’

Was beyond amazed vacuuming with my Dyson in comparison to just a Kmart vac. The Dyson picked up a whole container of pet hair and dirt from the carpet after vacuuming with my Kmart vac.

The suction on this vaccum is so strong, it makes it a little difficult to vaccum carpets, although you know it is doing a good clean.

Battery life could definitely be better. Only lasts about 15 minutes on turbo.

The downside to this Vac is the fact you have to hold your finger down on the button the whole time and the difficulty to clean the vaccum properly.

Pretty disappointing given that this is meant to be a Dyson. For a start you have to keep your finger on the trigger for the vacuum to continue working. Lift your finger off to give it a rest and you’ll get no suction. The suction itself isn’t great either - my last Sony did so much better. Plus you can’t charge it while it’s on the wall holder that comes with the vacuum. Disappointing

Purchased in August 2018, battery gave out before would/should be expected (March 2022); however, after contacting Dyson Customer Service via email, had a new battery delivered within 3 days. Excellent customer service.

This vacuum has fantastic suction, I was amazed at what it cleaned out of the carpets.
I returned mine after 1st use because of the terrible battery life.
The battery went flat after 15 minutes of use, which only left me enough to time get half the house done.
It then takes 3.5 hours to recharge.

Bought this January 2018 & was immediately impressed with how easy this was to use & how much it picked up. Now 12 months later I'm not 100% happy with it, the battery goes flat very fast & I cannot get my house done & the suction isn't as good as it once was. It's also very hard to get all the dust out of the inner filter as it doesn't detach which kind of lets the whole thing down in my opinion. You can remove the top filter but that still does not clean that inside filter on the base. A good tap on your hand & you'll be shocked how much dust gets stuck in there. They are a great idea but until you can fully pull it apart to clean I'm afraid this little unit will be constantly losing suction as it clogs with dust.

We Use it on carpet and tiles we have a long haired cat and dog and it is perfect for cleaning up pet hair it comes with some good attachments as well which make it easy when I vacuumed my car. I would have given 5 stars but the battery lets it down 3 hours to charge and 7 minutes to drain with it on high

I wanted a stick vaccum that I could pick up and go that was easy and lightweight. I looked at dyson but it's always too expensive for me. This one came on sale so I thought why not try it out. My place isn't huge so I don't need a heavy duty vac. It's perfect so far even the battery lasts on full power to do my place.

brought this from last year and we use this as addition to our other Dyson big ball vacuum.
initial thought is, we use the V6 to do light or small vacuum job. but this little Dyson is way beyond our expectation, as the suction is so much better than my expectation and we are now using it for medium vacuum job.
the build quality is great, battery life is okay, more than enough for small job. the main advantage of the V6 over the big ball vacuum is, it is so convenient. what a great little Dyson.
I would definitely buy another one again in the future. my family just love the quality of Dyson

I have floor boards, tile and carpet and this vacuum works amazing on all surfaces but is fantastic on furniture! I previously would vacuum my lounge then use a sticky roller to remove cat fur. Now with just the animal origin 99% of the fur is gone. Cleaning my carpeted stairs is a breeze! Only regret I should of bought this sooner instead of another brand and robot vacuum which can both go in the bin!

I am a cleaner at a local school and am completely blown away with this great product.Easy to assemble and clean.Good battery life and recharge time.I use the V6 animal origin on tile,lino and wooden floors and it performs equally well on all surfaces. Have just finished my house in approx. half the time it would take with my other vac !!! Would have no hesitation recommending it to other people.LOVE IT!!!! Well done Dyson.Timbo

When we first purchased out Dyson V6 Animal it was great. Noticed a difference on out floors immediately. Easy to use and move around. However, after about 6 months, I now find the unit will not run continually. It keeps stopping and starting while trying to use it. This is even after fully charging. I clean the unit out but then may work for a minute and returns to stopping and starting. Not sure what the problem may be.

Purchased the Dyson V6 Animal Origen from Big W when it was on sale. Honestly couldn't be happier. The battery life is more than enough to clean our whole house with the convenience of being able to quickly grab it for small spills. It is still compatible with our other vacuum accessories which is also a big plus. Has no issues cleaning up the fur left behind by our kitten.

This vaccum was great easy to used and move around the house with. It did an amazing job everytime without fail. There are 2 issues battery charging time to useage is annoying dont get barely enough time to do the house on one charge. And secondly it was hard to remove the catcher from the vaccum and replace it. But other than that awesome
