Dyson V6 Animal Origin

Bought this vacuum after our last unit (Dyson V6 Absolute) failed after 12 months. Thinking I would give Dyson products another chance, the vacuum performs just like the last one we purchased. Continually surging, not sucking debris but pushing it around. The surging thing really is annoying, you can clean it continually and it will block up and surge. A gimmick, so much for no loss of suction.

I hated vacuum cleaners, heavy bulky things that would have to be dragged from room to room. What I love most about my Dyson is how powerful and yet how light it is. I find myself vacuuming every time I get a spare few minutes. It's so quick, and because I use the supplied wall mount it's never been easier to keep my vacuum tidy and out of the way. I love it!!

I have tile and carpet flooring and it performs pretty well. Disappointed with the short battery life and dust gets stuck in the filter. But overall easy to use and for the price I paid happy with the product.

Less than 1 year old - first battery died - I got sent free replacement. Then 3 months later this battery has died . They will send me another maybe faulty battery but I want my money back . Not what I expect from $600 machine

I bought the Dyson stick vacuum to make life a lot easier in my small unit. It's just so handy to use and the attachments are really great for different jobs including my car. I have both carpet and wooden floors in my unit and it does a great job on both. Even my 4 year old grandson likes to help vacuum.

I use this vacuum on hard floors and carpet and absolute love it, I have a long haired dog that sheds hair everywhere, within in not time at all the barrel is full of dog hair, would never have believed it if I hadn't seen it for myself, love it

Laminate floor we have cuz of children, the machine works well for carpet but had to change to laminate floor, a bit worry at the beginning of floor change, however it really easy to use and clean floor properly. Only one disadvantage which is only can use about 20 mins then has to charge. Otherwise, super good.

I recently had a problem with the battery, I contacted Dyson service Australia, their service was amazing, efficient & courteous.
I use this machine on all surfaces tiles and carpet, I couldn’t live without it, with three cats it’s such a breeze.

I’ve used this vacuum on carpet and tiles and even a mattress. I cannot believe how much dust this can collect, and do easy to empty and clean ! Charge lasts a long time and is very easy to use without troubling cords.

very light and easy to use. It has a 20 minute battery life before changing but it’s really not a problem. Great attachments, especially the one for the car, fits in tight areas. I recommend this product to anyone.

We use our Dyson on polished boards, vinyl flooring and carpet mats. It has very strong suction, better than any corded machine we've owned, for any surface and picks up an astonishing amount of dust/debris. The battery allows a full house clean, (approx 20mins) on full power, on the one charge and emptying is so easy straight from the dust canister. Couldn't go back to a corded machine after having had the Dyson for the past 3 years.

Great on tiles, then onto Loop Pile Carpet very smooth operation, I have a ducted vacuum by the time you pull out all the hose etc pugging into room connections BORING .
My first Dyson Was the Dyson V6 Animal so impressed I have now purchased the Dyson V6 Animal Origin

If you have kids this is the vacuum for you. It’s super light, gets into nooks and crannies, easily cleans all rooms in my 3 x 3 home. Quickly charges and easy to empty. Love it! Just buy it!

I have wooden floors in the living areas but carpet in the bedrooms. It works extremely well on both surfaces, particularly on the carpet, as I am amazed at how much dirt and dust it gets out.

Too expensive looking at the performance . As new it performs very well but, any vacuum would work great in new condition . After 6 month you need to service and it will not perform same as before .

After just 2 years of having the machine, the battery has died and we cannot use it. I wish I had of listened to the people who warned me not to purchase a Dyson in the first place. Even when it was brand new, the suction was nowhere near as good as I had expected it to be. Sometimes the vacuum would not even pick up small crumbs. Very disappointing when you pay $400 for a vacuum that is now sitting in a cupboard useless!

Love this Vacuum Cleaner, I had heard so many of my friends raving about this Vacuum cleaner, my husband bought it on special at local retailer.
Its been a dream, it cleans really well, its easy to handle and move around.
Really easy to clean.
I love it that it cleans on vinyl floors.
Good arm length on vacuum.
Affordable price cannot live without it.

The Dyson V6 Animal vacuum was purchased in October 2018. It was used on vinyl and carpeted floors. By May 2022 it needed a new battery. This was dispatched by Dyson but on using it, the machine failed again. Dyson service centre advised that sometimes the battery will "short out" the motor! Dyson then sent out a main body, a power pack and a charger - with no instructions on how to assemble the bits, to my aged father - who, due to his poor eyesight, gave up completely. His carer could also not work out how to assemble the bits. I will never purchase another Dyson again.
