My Dyson V6 Motorhead cordless vacuum- the motorhead has stopped spinning and there's hardly any suction. I've cleaned it fully and nothing is stuck. The vacuum works with different attachments. Just the motorhead doesn't work at all. Any ideas?

Yes.
Sometimes hair around the brush at the ends stops it spinning. But the product is cheap. I’m buying a new brush end off eBay as mine stopped working after a year or two

My wife and I love the Dyson we currently have however, it has been blowing dust out of the back of it after the canister as been emptied. It also has been doing this once the canister is re-attached. Could this be a problem with the filter needing cleaned/ replaced?

So the air filter just pulls out at the top of the motor, recommend cleaning once/twice a week if using everyday

It's best not to leave the machine sitting propped against a wall while charging in case it gets knocked over and damaged. We'd suggest to charge the machine with the power cord while it's sitting on a flat surface, or install the charger into the docking station and install the docking station on a wall.

Please be assured it is completely normal for air to exit the rear of your Dyson machine as this is the location of the machine's exhaust.

Make sure your filter is clean and there is nothing blocking the intake to the rubbish canister. I thought my Dyson was faulty because it would make the noise that’s it had a flat battery however I did the above and it was fully charged and now works perfectly fine.

Hi. I have a dyson v6 stick vac. I typically use it on the high suction setting. I will use it to vacuum the whole kitchen floor at one time. My husband told me I should not run it continuously because it is only meant for small quick pick ups. Is this true or false?

Should you wish to use the machine for the entire battery run time (between 6 and 20 minutes depending on the mode selected), this is perfectly fine. Please be assured this is perfectly fine to do and won't cause any damage to the battery. We just recommend to keep the machine on charge when not in use, to ensure the machine charges, and stays ready for your next cleaning session.

This would usually indicate the machine is warm, and out of battery. Please let the machine cool for 30-60 minutes before charging for 3.5 hours and the machine should then run like normal.

While normally this shouldn't happen under normal use, it can if your machine is being held closer to your face than normal, or at certain angles. That being said, please be assured the air coming out of the machine is cleaner than ambient air, so you don't have to worry.

My ( 3 months old ) V6 pulses off "auto cut out", no matter which attachment. I replaced the cyclone. Cleaned the cyclone filter. Cleaned and checked all connections. However, there is no cutting out problems when the cyclone filter is removed! Any help?

Contact Dyson as it is still under warranty.
I would contact Dyson. They are super helpful. My older model did this and I sent away to get repaired under warranty and it was all sorted within two weeks.

The silver coloured covering, near where the filter fits, on my v6 is broken/split can it be replaced without the whole motor unit having to be replaced? It's still under warranty but don't think the warranty will cover it.
