What an Absolute Moron
[Name Removed] the owner is the biggest moron I have ever met, after 2 months of waiting for my laptop to be repaired, I called him, he then hung up on me, when I popped into the shop, he through my laptop on the counter without the back screwed on, I have to beg for the screws so I can screw the back on, How is this guy in Business???

i dropped off my iphone which had both cracked screen and internal chip. Shane diagnosed the problem and repaired in 2 days. very professional and reliable service. support your local small business

DO NOT GO! Awful abusive service.
Awful abusive service. I am a customer service worker and understand high pressure circumstances. However the owner Shane, yelled down the phone at me complaining that I should not be calling up to check on my laptop progress. My laptop had been in the store for a week and I had not received a single update regarding it.
Additionally, my job was a 'simple easy fix' according to the owner, however it not only took over a week, with multiple abusive phone calls, he also charged me $350 for the fix
DO NOT GO, ridiculously expensive for the horrible experience

Absolute PIG!
This arrogant man not only has NO people, or customer service skills, but he’s also a total rip off!
I took my phone to have the screen replaced, only then to receive it back and have it not working properly. I took it back and was told it was something else that was the problem now, and it would be another $150 to fix.
I took it somewhere else to be assessed, and was told it was 100% the screen that was the issue!
He is so rude with his filthy language, and speaking to people like crap, that I refused to go back in and ended up getting a ...

He is disgusting!!! I would NEVER evere recommend this place, and I will NEVER return. PS I feel sorry for his wife who seems quite nice.

STAY AWAY
The guy at the counter made up his mind straight away that my laptop would not charge because of the import when I had asked him to test the charger.so $100 later I get it back home and it’s still not charging.when I return the technician is there and he tested the charger for me and it’s not working.No refund or discount for unessessary work.So bought the charger online for $30.I don’t think I’d trust them again,seem very untrustworthy and unorganised.

Hopeless, Rude and Incompetent
This business is nothing more than hopeless and incredibly rude. After they had my device for one week and did not return any calls when I was seeking an update, I finally spoke to 'Shane' in which he abused me and then hung up the phone. Steer clear of The Gadget Doctor.

Worst service and incompetence ever
The only thing that Shane excels in is aggression and arrogance. They had my hard drive for months and still didn't repair it, but still charged me. Totally useless and a ripoff as well.

FAULTY TOWERS!! Shameless
Dropped off iMac on Jan 24, there was a problem with the startup/boot process.
I called [Name Removed], explained the issue and he was happy to take the job, and take a deposit $90.
He suggested an upgrade of the hard drive to SSD which I agreed with and he suggested about $300 cost. I agreed
I won’t bore you with details but these clowns had the Mac for over 5wks and all they had done was turn it on (classed as tech work so no refund on deposit)

Absolutely abysmal
Can’t tell anyone enough not to come here. Put my laptop in to be fixed. Did not reply to messages and were rude on the phone when I tried to follow up after a few weeks. A month later was given a call telling me my laptop had been stolen. They had informed me weeks after the break and enter had occurred. Terrible communication in regards to how the whole insurance process is taking place. has been months now and no computer or update

Slow, expensive, and very poor customer service
I had a similar experience to most of the other reviews, which I really wish I'd read before I used this place.
Their communication skills are zero, they're very disorganised (not ordering parts etc.) so you're continually chasing them, and they are much more expensive than most other places.
Oh yes, and they're really rude.

This guy should not be in business! I took my laptop in 3 months ago and after being run around, phone calls not returned, visiting multiple times and promises of a few more days, still "didn't get around to looking at it."
The whole business is so unorganised. Every time I go in I have to explain who I am and what I'm waiting for.

Hopeless
This guy has no right to be in business.
He couldn’t fix my Samsung 6 phone so I bought a new one costing $610.
I subsequently had a friend look at my old phone which he got working & the Gadget guy did not give me a full refund & physically threatened me when I argued my case.
I would not recommend him to my worst enemy

The worst on the GC.
Absolutely terrible. I posted my old iPhone 5 for sale on gumtree and he answered to buy it. I took the phone in (with a broken screen) and they kept it to check. They replaced the screen and annoyingly my actual phone (7+) bugged out the same week and so I took back my old one (5) and they kept my (7+)
I went back to return the (5) and sell to him and collect my (7) and he tells me he no longer wanted to buy it as he had one in stock and I owed him for the new screen.
