We were very pleased with the outcome and quality of the workmanship. There were very few issues, but the ones that arose were promptly and very efficiently dealt with. Everyone was always very helpful and friendly, from admin staff to the owner. Representative, Erin, always helped where she could and it was a pleasure working with the project manager,John.

As soon as I walked into their Cairns display home in Smithfield I knew I was with the right team. I worked with Erin and John on the specifics of my build and my ideas, their team were nothing but helpful with everything!

Due to my work I was in and out of the Cairns area alot but they took that in their stride and helped me the whole way, being my first home everything was new to me but that were amazingly helpful with explaining everything and even help with all the paperwork.

With the end product I am even more impressed as they had gone above and beyond with the minor details which really makes a house a home, could not recommend them enough and I am so happy with my new home so thank you so much!

Being a retired couple in our late 70s, the desire for a comfortable, easy to manage home was a priority. The wonderful customer service, advice and support from day 1 and throughout the build from all staff at the Cairns office made the building experience a pleasure and hassle free. The quality of workmanship, materials and fittings supplied are excellent and building progress was managed satisfactorily and professionally with delays kept to a minimum. The workmanship of our house was very good as we have built 12 other homes. Every small detail was attended to with minimum fuss. Nothing was too much trouble. They were the only builder in Cairns prepared to build in Yungaburra for us without extra cost involved. Yungaburra is about 1 hour from Cairns. We were actually quoted $30,000 extra to build in Yungaburra by a local Cairns builder.

We enjoyed working with all the people involved with our build. From the very beginning with designing the house all the way to the final handover. Nothing was ever an issue and if we did have a concern it was dealt with straight away. All the conversations we had were very friendly and the people were all approachable. I would recommend GJ Gardner Homes to everyone.

I was looking for a builder who could understand my needs and wants in a home. I felt like I was banging my head against a brick wall until I walked into the GJ Gardner office in Cairns. They not only built a superb home, but supplied the best customer service, workmanship, honesty, and professional integrity. I am that happy with their build that I will definitely talk to GJ Gardner staff in Cairns for my next build.

The workmanship the staff and the trades used on my house were second to none. I would not hesitate to let anyone know GJG are the ones to build with. It's not if,but when I build again, GJG will be the only choice. As simple as that. It was so easy to talk and to deal with, no worries here.

We bought a house that GJ Gardner built approx 7 years previously and the finish is poor, the quality of material were appalling i.e. non galvanised nails in exterior areas, soft wood for hand rails, ballustrades, and fixtures that don't conform to safety standards.

You may think your house is OK now, but just wait 5-10 years when it's falling apart.

Poor finish, and sub-standard materials. External stairs and verandah that doesn't seem to conform to safety standards/building regs.
