Is the water dispenser meant to just trickle out?

Yes I think so as ours is the same. Perhaps they did that to limit the amount of water that would spill out if a child played with it, or in case the rubber seal ever failed (?).

1 year old reply coming - anyway, I noticed ours did the same so, I took a rubber strip off the top (it actually kept coming off) and that allowed the freezer to shut properly therefor not freezing up inside.

HI - I've not had this happen before - tho we mostly refill the tank while it's in the fridge.
I would google till I found a solution if that happened to me.
Sorry I can't offer more.

Hi there. Yes we had the same problem before, we then noticed there was small stripes of sticky tape from the packaging still attached to the tank. We also found out that the nozzle on bottom of tank wasn't properly screwed on so that the tank didn't slide all the way down to click in. It will also take some hard pushing to get the water back in position . After that we never took the water tank out again instead we just filled it up with a bottle . Good luck

No i havent had that problem But i experienced lots of ice cubes hanging off the inside of my freezer after i checked to make sure my temp was right i realized if anything in your freezer is stopping it from sealing totally it will produce a build up of ice.make sure nothing at the top of your freezer is stopping it sealing propely.

I allowed that deal to fall off completely and ever since, no more ice build up and the door shuts properly now. No more fights in the family over who didn’t shut the door properly

The child lock doesn't lock the actual fridge. If you hold the button down for a few seconds it locks the water dispenser and the buttons on the display that change the the temperature.

Hi - we have just bought a Hisense RS696N411 American FF. The water is plumbed in but it takes ages to shut off when the glass is taken away from the lever. There is only a small tube coming out of the fridge, was there supposed to be a nozzle fitted of some sort or can anyone help ?

Is there a way to remove the "pop can rack"? That's the rack below the water dispenser container on the left hand side fridge door which can hold 4 cans of drinks. We normally do not drink can drinks, thought to use the additional space to store taller containers on the shelf below the "pop can rack"

Bought it October 2016, after giving away a perfectly functioning plumbed in lg side by side that the wife hated.
Got talked into this brand by good guys sales, 3 year warranty.
I guess you get what you pay for, 5 months and our first major problem.
Hard to give this brand a good review.
Fridge not working, freezer is fine.
