I have a j9.3 and have had problems from day 1. I understand that it wont make really hot coffee but luke warm isnt good enough . I have tried good quality coffee beans and also good quality ground coffee with the same bitter result. Sometimes the water wont even pass through the coffee and it ejects it into the internal dipenser or around it all over the inside area without delivering the coffee. I spent a lot of money on this machine to get a simple to use great coffee like at a good cafe and it appears to be an expensive mistake. How do l go about getting a refund on this machine? It certainly doesnt do what l paid for. I paid for an extended warranty as well.

When trying to get a cup of coffee instead of the water filling the cup it leaks under the machine. Went through all the cleaning, removed the filter, put in a new filter, nothing worked. Did the rinsing cycle and the water leaked under the machine. Any suggestions to fix?

No sorry that is one of the problems with my machine I haven't encountered thank goodness.
my J5 leaked like that (after it cam back from a service). A seal or line is broken and you would need to get it replaced.
Looks like a blocked spout

OK I've had this machine for 2 years and everybody is correct the milk comes out warm. NO WHERE NEAR HOT ENOUGH. I used to pop my coffee in to the microwave FOR 20 SECONDS TO BRING IT TO THE RIGHT TEMPERATURE. The geniuses at JURA just make excuses and say its correct. If it was served at a restaurant like this we would send it back.
GOOD NEWS I have a solution.
Basically the milk comes through the milk tube too fast. Enclosed with the machine comes a little red stop. Put two small holes in this and put the red stop into the end of the pipe going into the milk. This slows down the milk coming through and gives you very hot milk. GUARANTEED.
A shame JURA couldnt make this modification on a $3000 machine.
yes the red stop works!..Also, dial the Milk Frother a few times after the first froth and set it on the last cup symbol(right).

Our hockey club owns a jura impressa Xs95/xs90 one touch machine. Since we bought it last year it has not made the milk hot enough and we end up having to heat each cup of coffee in microwave before we serve it to our customers . We had it serviced and we have followed the manual but no joy. Can you tell us how to make thr milk HOT? It is very frustrating.

You cannot make the milk hot with a Jura, I tried everything and ended up taking it back and getting a different machine.
You can restrict the milk flow by flattening tubes and get it a bit hotter, but ultimately Juras can only produce cold coffee

Have read the reviews on this machine but unfortunately for me this is the worse machine I could have bought!! My machine either says tray missing or empty tray all the time. Had it serviced twice by Jura and they say there is nothing wrong with it. Had machine for two weeks each time. Comes back lasts for awhile then the same thing happens. Have done everything possible with cleaning, etc. with the same result. Does anyone else have this problem and if so how do you fix this problem? I would never buy a Jura machine!!! As we all know how expensive they are.

Have someone else insert the trays.

Not sure if you still have this issue. I had the same issue but found a solution. Take out the tray and there are 2 metal sensors at the end of the tray. They must always be clean and dry. After a period of time, coffee grinds get caught at the back of the metal sensors. Try to remove them with a small flat screwdriver then clean properly. Also while the tray is removed, feel right at the back in the machine where the tray goes and there is a small slot where the sensors sits. Clean this with paper towel. This should fix the problem.

How can you program the machine J 90 to have hotter milk? This is very frustrating & dissapointing
1 answer
I'm personally happy with the temp, but I do have friends who like it hotter. For there coffee this is what I do fill a cup with milk and microwave the milk just for 30sec just to take of the cold edge off it, then put the hose into the cup but find I have hold it up a bit higher to make sure it foams. Or you could heat up the milk a little and then poor it into the milk canister. Hope that helps

Hi, I just brought a jara impress Z. I love really hot coffee. Is there anyway I can make the milk hotter!??
3 answers
I don't know of a way. You could try Jura.
the milk is a bit of a problem, in that it's all heated automatically, unlike a machine that allows you to steam it manually for as long as you want. make sure the cup is heated well and truly before pouring the milk. this is the only way i have found how to get around the problem. i don't have a milk based coffee that often, so it's not a problem for me. plus i like the way it works as is with pre heated cups. keep in mind this is not a commercial machine and so there are compromises to be made.
I would call the Jura hotline, it could be the machine, we find ours is hot enough as is.

Hey,
I have had m machine for a few years, A couple of years ago I had to send it back as it wasn't pumping any water through the machine. The machine didn't say anything wrong but it wouldn't make coffee, froth milk or just pump water. They returned the machine saying nothing was wrong with it, not sure what happened as when i got it back the nozels broke in transit and i got a new one anyway,
But my current one has just started doing the same thing, tried rinsing, changing filter, everything i can think of quickly, and nothing has worked.
Please let me know if this is a common problem and what I can do to fix it.
Thanks,
Matt

Dear Matt,
Thanks for your question, It sounds like what we refer to as a hard restart could have resolved the problem, this would mean that you need to turn off the unit from the wall and wait 60 seconds before restarting it, this will allow the valve to re set and allow the machine to return to return to normal operation
Also please feel free to call our support line on 1300 285 872.
Kind Regards,

We have purchased a brand new Impressa J9.3 One touch TFT and after following all the instructions given the machine has been prompting us to press the rotary button for the past 4 hours?
1 answer
To stop this, pour all of the water out of the tank and replace with boiling hot water. Continue to press the button and it will get past this stage. Apparently it has something to do with crystals forming in the pipes during transit. Not sure if that is true or not, but the boiling water worked.
