Details setting is to make sure we install filter as part of setup, and the filter needs to be submerged in water before putting it in the tank, so that air is not trapped in the filter.

I have a j6, I got a new milk frother, but made no difference. I have requested a refund about 10 times and they do not respond. I have had Jura machines for the last 20 years, all were brilliant, but this one isn’t.

Dear Stewie R.
Thank you for your question, it sound like an air blockage caused by the filter please remove the water tank, remove water, remove filter and put hot water into the tank as hot as the hot tap will go. Place the tank back on with hot water and NO filter press rise button (please note it can take up to 20 goes) we are trying to pump the water through to remove the blockage.

Well i believe Jura forgot to install camera in the chute in order to detect tablet? In that case after dropping a tablet, you might want to try closing the ground lid, and press a button to proceed?

HI, I have a Jura J6 for over 2 years. Just came up with a message now saying not enough ground coffee. I don't use ground coffee, I only use bean. Other reviews said to use a vacuum to suck out anything stuck, tried that in all crevices but to no avail. Help!

Jura A.JURA Australia

Dear Keesha,
Thank you for your question, if you could kindly open the pre-ground lid and see if you can see any gound coffee, how you changed the grinder setting to fine? if this has been changed and not in the middle the grinder can over grind the beans causing a fine grind that blocks the machine and goes up the pre-ground shute just sends a error message to the machine not enough ground coffee or it could be the beans please vacuum the pre-ground shute and test the machine.

Hi, I have tried all of the above... still comes up with the same error message...?

i would take it in for servicing, people as consumers do not have a lot of time to do research - it can be a number of things - ranging from the type of bean used which may have more natural oil in it - derived from the roasting process. The residue / grinds catches on the delivery shoot on the way out from the grinder restricting the passage to the brew housing. so there may not be enough coffee getting to brew group. In all, for the copious amounts of coffee these machines make and the high quality of the machine i would recommend an annual service at minimum. and use a light to medium roast such as Grinders which is local to Coles and Woolies ( look at the bean rating to see whether it is light medium or dark roast )

We have just purchased the Jura E6 the coffee isn’t hot enough. I have done everything correctly with the setup but it’s still not enough. How can this be fixed?

Hi Melissa,
I have exactly the same problem, cappuccinos are lukewarm. I have had many coffee machines in the past Saeco, Nespresso and other Jura - all make a nice hot froth and never used a cupwarmer. I have set the ‘hot’ setting and tried slowing down the flow of milk to the frother, this helped slightly. I’d like Jura to answer our question on this..

Hi. I don't have your model but do have a Jura that doesn't make a very hot cappuccino/latte. I found out that if I squeeze the tube (the one taking the milk from the milk container to the frother) then I can get more steam through the milk and get a hotter drink. You can also turn the dial on the frother to the steam setting but still allow some milk through but this is a bit hit and miss. You will notice that you have to fill the water container a bit more often. Hope this helps as these machines are otherwise great. (From a mate in NZ)

No I don't think. I once interrupted a cleaning cycle but it didn't cause any problems. I've been using Jura for many years and I've never had problems except I had to service it for full cleaning and change of grinder after 6 years.

We have just purchased the Jura F9. The coffee is adequate temperature, however the milk is unacceptably cold. We cannot see a way to increase the temperature of the milk. Do you have any advice to resolve this? At this stage, if we can't fix it, we will be returning the machine.

1 answer
Mick
Mick

I am not familiar with the F9, however if it is the same sealed design as the J series, take it back and use the milk temperature as your excuse for return. If you can't easily remove the brew group the machine will become toxic over time just like the J Series unless you pay big dollars to have it regularly serviced. I highly recommend the Breville Oracle.

I have a Jura Impressa 11 Z5 model, and it has run reasonably well in the years I have had it, until the style of the Air intake nozzle changed that is, I am fortunate in that I had some spare old style air intake nozzles, but every time I change to one of the new style air intake nozzles, there is no foam/froth on the milk, it just comes out as hot milk, if I change the air intake nozzle mid flow, back to the old style air intake nozzle, all is well, so, in my opinion it is something to do with the new style nozzle, I ordered 6 of them, and have tried all six, all brand new, and all present the same problem, as I only use the machine for Cappuccinos, this is very annoying, has anyone else experienced this problem, and if so, what can be done to correct it please?

Try turning the milk frother dial counter clockwise a few times then press the cappuccino button. you should get results after the second time.

Someone had suggested to remove a small rubber tip on the frother and clean it under running water.

We don't bother that much with the frothier but we do put the milk into a small jug & just microwave for about 35 seconds for 1 person. We are just lazy but it works. After traveling through Europe last year we found that the coffee is never as hot as we have it in Australia . Also I have found the first cup isn't as hot as the second or third one

Hi Katrina, Its best you call Jura service centre on this one..Sounds like a programe error.

I believe it’s the mechanism that switches between the centre spout and side (with milk) spout broke down, it’s called squeeze valve. It controls which spout coffee shall comes out, either the twin spout in the centre or the side spout with milk.
