Very happy with delivery of our Delta III
Really helpful staff at the Canberra store and very happy with our purchase. Arrived a couple of weeks which is a bonus! Delivery was very professional and Jimmy Melhem made sure our lounge was installed without any hassle. Thanks Jimmy - great service.

Friendly and helpful
I found Lesley very informative friendly and helpful in making my colour choice and design selection. Also what options are available. Explained the care of sofa and chairs. Great service. Will be back for more purchases

Wonderful Service
We would like to thank Osborne at King Living in Canberra for the most amazing service that he provided to my husband and I when we went to purchase a new sofa and rug. Nothing was too much trouble, he was very informative about the various products and assisted us with all our enquiries.
We would certainly highly recommend King Living for not only their products but the staff are very friendly and are wanting to make sure that all customers have a fantastic experience.

Excellent service from employee at Fyshwick ACT store
This review is about the exceptional service I received from a particular employee, Mr Osborne George, at the King store in Fyshwick ACT. It is not specifically about King products or any other aspect of service I have received from King.
I needed a replacement transformer for the electric motor in my King Dream recliner armchair (the first one had been lost in a house move). le to find the spare part online. She undertook to get back to me within 2 days. After I week I had heard nothing further so I rang the same number in Sydney and spoke to a different person who had no knowledge of my previous call and still could not find information about the transformer. She then transferred me to spare parts where I spoke to another lady who, like her two predecessors, was unable to help me. She then said she would transfer me to the sales area (!) and suddenly I was speaking to the Fyshwick shop again. The person who answered this time at the Fyshwick store was Mr Osborne George. I was initially less than happy about the run-around I'd received and explained this to Osborne. He was immediately very helpful and appeared willing to take ownership of the issue. He undertook to look into it and ring me back that day. Sure enough, he rang back a couple of hours later and explained that he wasn't able to find out that day about the part but would get back to me the next day, which he did. He had found information about ordering the appropriate part (why couldn't the spare parts area in Sydney have done that??) and asked me if I wanted to order it and pay over the phone, which I did. He told me it would be in the Fyshwick store within a week. He then rang me a week later to say it had arrived. I have just picked up the part and it is indeed the correct part so my recliner reclines again. Osborne's service was exceptional throughout because (1) he took ownership of the problem, (2) rang me back every time exactly when he said he would, (3) was always very pleasant and helpful on the phone (as well as when I finally met him in the store), and (4) resolved the problem to my complete satisfaction. His service was textbook stuff for how to provide good service and keep the customer onside. Many thanks, Osborne! The service from elsewhere within King was definitely below par. I think King should review its spare parts policy in terms of stocking, providing info on stock access to King staff and in providing a high level of service. On the last point they should get Osborne to give a course to the rest of the staff. My 5 star rating is based entirely on Osborne George's service to me, not on any other aspect of my interaction with King. Overall I would give King 4 stars for product (my recliner is a very good product) and barely 2 stars for service in relation to the run-around I received before Osborne took responsibility and ownership of the issue.1 comment

Brilliant Service!
Sure there are furniture bargains around BUT.. I discovered King Furniture. Soooo cumfy, soooo smart,
I am proud to show my friends. Luxury personified, but it does not end there. Had a wee problem with the electronic chair, that turned out to be the operator, which is ME! Oh well cant help the fact I am blond. Back up service amazing! The technician came to my house, all the way to Batemans Bay, and showed me where I was going wrong. You can purchase a product, then never see or hear from them again. King Furniture will hear from me again, when I need another divine piece. Ros Allen Batemans Bay

Internal sabotage or just incompetence?
Happy with my prior purchase of a Félix metro lounge and accessories, I purchased a Promenade storage bed and mattress for approx. $4000 which was delivered 8 weeks later with a wet behead and the wrong sized base cover. Three weeks later, still without a replacement cover and fed up with the excuses 'it must be condensation', the bad attitude of staff 'was it raining on delivery day', lack of communication (I always had to call them) and their internal blame game - 'it's despatch's fault', I told them to give me money back and take the bed awa...Read more
y. Such a shame because I liked the design and was intending to buy a King size Symphony. This was a problem that should and could have been easily rectified. When there are so many failures along the whole supply chain, from manufacture, despatch and customer service - you've got to wonder, is it merely incompetence, poor management and lack of training or is it internal sabotage? As explained to the 'upholsterer' who called me yesterday (Monday, 10 October) to say that 'he had my cover' and who wanted to know when he could deliver it to me, King Living collected the bed and refunded my money last Thursday, 7 October! Sophisticated Scam
King furniture will promise you the world and tell you that there furniture is the best in the world. But it isn't and they refuse to honour the warranty. They dismiss everything as 'normal, fair wear and tear' or 'your abuse' and 'neither is covered by the warranty. You are far better off buying multiple cheaper lounge suites than one overpriced King Furniture piece. At least that way you will have something that looks decent can actually be used. In summary, an expensive piece of junk waiting for council clean up day. Nice scam King Furniture.

Still waiting after 8 months for that spare part you promised to have within 'a few days' and the premium fabric we paid for is already wearing out. We would now rather buy 10 lounges elsewhere than one King Furniture lounge. At least with other shops you aren't misled into believing you are buying a premium product. The quote from your ACT salesperson sums up you attitude towards customers, she said 'I hope it ( the new lounge) is broken because then you will have to buy a new one'. Beautiful design but took 4 months to fix faults
SUMMARY - we bought a beautiful super comfortable sofa from King but it has taken over 4 months to get all the faults fixed. You can read the full story below but the moral of the story is that if something is wrong with the item it is a long and frustrating process dealing with King Service and your best course of action is to take to product review to tell your story, that gets the attention of a aenior person and then you get progress. That said the sofa is lovely, stylish and super comfortable.

Great Sales Personnel And Customer Support
I recently purchased a Sonata 2 seater lounge and matching armchair. The salesman was very polite and really helpful. Delivery was fast and they fitted it in around my schedule as I was pressed for time. Delivery guys cleaned up and took all packaging with them. At delivery I noticed some of the legs had faulty laminate that was bubbling and cracking. I took the legs back to the store and the after sales service was excellent, they replaced the legs on the spot. Overall an enjoyable and very pleasant buying experience.
