Lovely service
Our visit to the store was a bit impulsive (we forgot to measure our lounge room for a start). We’d been online and had a good idea of what we wanted. The store was well laid out and we were made to feel welcome the moment we came through the door. Salman was attentive without being creepy. He helped us choose the right options without sales pressure.

Review of repair by Carlos
A very good service call by repairman Carlos. He communicated with us well prior to the visit, called ahead to let us know when he was arriving, and was prompt, efficient and effective in his repairs. Carlos also identified issues not evident to us and replaced faullty items. Carlos also explained ways to ensure our use and experience of our King Cloud lounge was as good as possible. I can highly recommend Carlos as an excellent technician and repair person. His manner was also very polite and friendly.

Delivered Defected Product and Declined to reschedule the delivery time
The worst furniture company ever, promised you a king experience but delivered you a crap and defected furniture with premium price. I have bought a Jasper-13 lounge, which has delivered with three component defects. After notifying (phone call, email, defect inspections), they agree to change but took forever to delivery.
During delivery time, the dispatch team set the time on their discretion and declined to accommodate any reschedule. Therefore, I have to take off from work, stay at home, and wait 3-4 hours until the delivery happened.

My husband and I visited king living canberra store before the Christmas on several occasions to find a dinning table and two lounge sets for our new place. We had completely different ideas/styles of what we want. Lesley from king living kindly sat us down and draw up our place with different lounge options. That really helped! There was no push sell and they really suggest from the best interest of the customers.

Terrible quality control with misaligned seams and headrest
I recently purchased a ReoGrand Sofa Bed from the Canberra showroom in April 2018 and had the product delivered to my home in July 2018.
When the sofa arrived, it arrived with the head rests and associated seams not aligning, with a jarring difference. Needless to say, this was a very disappointing experience. King Living furniture was recommended to me as a brand of premium quality for which a premium is paid, but I have never experienced this problem in cheaper furniture. ould have had better product quality had I bought an IKEA sofa. This product should have never left the factory and the defect is noticeable to my bare, untrained eyes. Furthermore, this raises my concern for defects in areas where I cannot see them or do not have the expertise to identify. My time has also been wasted, as I had to wait several months for this defected product to be made and delivered to my home, to communicate my complaint, and to schedule an appointment with a serviceman to have this rectified. Needless to say, I will not be purchasing King Living furniture in the future. When communicated to the Customer Service team, the $150 delivery fee refund was offered as reimbursement, which I do not believe is adequate as it amounts to 5% of the sofa value, but such a defect has made the sofa virtually worthless in the secondhand market. Furthermore, I now have to wait 2 months for a spare part to be delivered, and to then reschedule an appointment for the sofa to be fixed. Nevertheless, I would like to pay my compliments to [name removed], a Canberra showroom employee, who provided exceptional customer service. He was more than happy to dedicate a good portion of his time to bring me around the showroom, and to follow-up with my complaint and arrange an inspection for the defected product.1 comment

Fantastic Service
Just wanted to say that Suza and Jeka were fantastic to deal with over the last few days. They were both very patient and knowledgeable and incredibly helpful as I tried to figure out what I needed for my new space. This was all just as a major sale was winding up and they were very busy. I can only hope the rest of the process goes as well!

Fair product, disappointing service
We visited King Living to order a lounge and two armchairs. Showroom service was pleasant. Our order was split into two, due to the time it would otherwise take for delivery (several months). So far we have had three deliveries, none of which has been complete. In each instance, items have been missing, delivery has been careless (order forms not checked), and follow up from King has been non-existent. e have had to follow up repeatedly and still have not had all items delivered - in particular, one of the armchairs is inoperative for lack of parts. I spoke to the deliverers, the showroom and customer service and still have no idea if or when the matter is going to be resolved. Shocking communication, no one cares, they just want money for poor quality.
AVOID King Living unless you want to be in an infinite loop with nothing good.

Very disappointing customer service
Our King Cloud lounge was damaged on delivery, one arm missing altogether, the wrong colour accessory tables were sent out and in the first month the recline function broke (apparently a bad batch of parts). The Customer Service from King Living was incredibly disappointing. Sent photos and an email on the day of delivery on 4 February and had absolutely no response. Finally a local repair person fixed the damage and last week we gave up on Customer Service to send us the correct accessory tables and went to our local King Living store where the professional staff ordered the tables themselves and had the issue resolved in a week. Wonder if another set of tables will turn up from Customer Service one day? Awful customer service
Ordered the couch in the 20th of January and we were assured it would be delivered on the 4th of April. It is now the 18th of April and still no couch. The delivery has been deferred twice without any communication from Kingliving. I have had to be inconvenienced twice (taking time of work to wait for delivery) and only finding out the couch won't be delivered on the day by chasing it up myself. Very disappointed, not getting straight answers and at the moment I don't have a confirmed delivery date.

Nice furniture (over priced) - poor delivery and customer service
Place an order for a new Neo package with bedside tables on 26 December 2017 in Canberra. Like others on this website have reported, received a text from dispatch with delivery date in early March. Late, the day before the bed was to be delivered, I received a call informing me that the bed had still not arrived and was still in Customs. Noting that King Furniture knew that it could not be delivered the next day, it is disappointing that they could not call sooner and inform me of the delay which I believe they were well aware of.

d delivery for 15 March 2018. The Neo bed arrived and the material on the base was damaged (it appears to me that it had been dragged across the driveway). Call the Canberra store informing them of the issue and stated that I wanted a refund noting the continuing issues. While I was encouraged that the item (the material skirt around the base) could be replaced, I was not keen to waste more time with King Furniture noting that approach. Am considering raising my concerns with the ACCC about some of King Furniture's practices as I believe that they may not comply with Australian consumer protection laws. While their senior managers who contacted me about the issues were very pleasant and tried to be helpful (by trying to get me to change my mind about accepting damaged items) I would encourage others to be careful about purchasing from King Furniture in the future (or at least until they get their delivery systems and practices up to a reasonable standard). And I encourage others to check out their consumer rights if an issue arises and accepting what you are told by the company. Now does anyone know a good supplier of quality made modern beds?1 comment

Fantastic furniture and great customer service
I Purchased through King Furniture Canberra. The 2 Opera lounges arrived on date specified and looked great. After the delivery men left, I noticed a small mark on one of the couches which appeared as a handprint. Rang King Furniture immediately and they sent a cleaner out to clean the couch. He found it was a mark in the leather itself. King Furniture acknowledged this, emailed and rang me and told me that a new seat cover would be made for me. They gave me a date when the new cover would be ready. it arrived when indicated, fitted and I now have two beautiful couches!!! I don't believe I have ever experienced such good, efficient and pleasant service....well done King Furniture. I highly recommend you. Brilliant.
