Well where do I begin?
I signed up 15/3/20 before the Covid19 issue..
I was told my modem would be sent out within 7 business days.. it is now 21/4/20 I have no modem and I have been charged 2 bills!!! For no internet... what a disgrace of a company.
I have been trying to call for weeks and weeks for over 2 hours on hold and apparently due to the virus they are having high calls... Ummm NO I think no one is even there to answer our calls.
I have messaged Facebook, they can’t help I have emailed and still nothing.

No internet connection and NO contact from Kogan.
My internet suddenly dropped out Saturday night, I followed the troubleshoot instructions with no success.
Sent an email as per the instructions Sunday morning, had no contact besides auto reply from Kogan so rang 1300 010 400 and sat on hold for 2.5 hours. Got tired of listening to the hold music so sent ANOTHER email (we are now at this point over 72 hours without internet!)
I am currently on hold with them again trying to get through to someone/anyone! I am currently up to 2 hours on hold!
I am a small business who relies on my internet so very very disappointed in Kogan. Even with COVID, over 72 hours with no response or contact is disgusting considering that this a urgent issue.

NBN Works but No Customer Support
Unfortunately, changing of credit card details is so difficult with this company as they put you through to their Kogan Customer Call Centre which is almost non-existent at the moment! I wish Kogan would make a login page to do some things on their own, or perhaps allow customers to change direct debit details via email.

Worst customer service
I have recently connected with Kogan to the NBN after about 4 hours after my NBN was installed it stopped working. I spent 2 days trying to contact Kogan on 1300 010 400. On 3 occasions I spent over 1 hour waiting with no one answering my call.
I then started looking for an alternative company to help me access the NBN. I contacted Launtel who responded within minutes and set up an NBN account with them. Non-existent customer service
Been with Kogan Internet for 6 months. During that time, no issues but now I'm moving house and have tried calling the call centre 1300 010 400 most days for the last week. Ive waited up to 1hr10mins twice, both times the phone automatically hangs up.
I contacted the Kogan.com facebook page, where a representative told me to start a ticket at help.kogan.com. After doing this, I got a response saying Kogan.com cant access Kogan Internet and I need to call the 1300 010 400 number again.
Tried emailing [email protected] yesterday, no response.
By now, im ready to quit Kogan internet when I move but i cant even get onto anyone to do that!
Next step will be the Ombudsman

Cannot Get through to Kogan Call Centre
Kogan Call Centre is ridiculous. I have tried to call the call centre for the past 2 weeks and cannot get through. Multiple times i am on hold for over an hour and the system hangs up on me. I have moved address and need to change this over. I'm currently paying for internet i cannot use. I have emailed over a week ago and still no reply. If this isn't resolved i will be taking this to the ACCC.

Not working for 24 hours now and nobody available at customer sevice
The connection is not working for the last 24 hours. Our family is self isolating and without an internet connection it is quite challenging to keep the mood up. I was for 1.5 hours on the phone trying to reach someone on the help line but without any success. How can the problem be fixed if nobody is answering the phone? I am open for suggestions.

Internet not working - support not answering
I understand that this must be a difficult time for the company due to COVID-19. However you NEED to hire more support staff. Got Kogan NBN installed 7 days ago and have had working internet for maybe 3 days. If you call Kogan Internet support, almost every time of the day your call gets dropped immediately due to lack of resources. I have luckily gotten onto the caller queue this morning and have now been on hold for an hour.

e Kogan as my NBN provider as I otherwise consider them a reputable brand but am very much regretting my decision. I would advise any reader of this review to pay a bit extra and go with a bigger and more experienced internet provider.1 comment

Poor performance, lots of dropouts and low speeds (3Mb/s) very often
we signed up for the last 2 months and couldn't load movies and doing research online was difficult. Was more effective hot spotting my phone then using the Kogan NBN.

Drop outs
I have just joined Kogan internet, just received my first bill. The drop outs and waiting for the internet to re-connect has been incredibly frustrating, I rang the IT help initially but its the same thing, turn off the modem, reset the settings etc etc.. but that's actually not the issue.. On random days the WIFI just doesn't connect and I have to use my phone (which is also with Kogan/vodaphone). My phone is also struggling at times to connect to the internet.. I'm a bit over it now.. looking to change providers and go back to who I was with. Kogan are a bit cheaper, but you do get what you pay for....

Constant drop outs
I had no issues with the service initially, but the last few weeks the rate of drop outs has been ridiculous. It drops out every night, conveniently once their call centre has closed. The internet on my phone is faster than the internet through kogan and the dial up internet I used at my mothers house in 1997 was more reliable than what I am currently experiencing.

Bad surprise
I was surprised to find out that the minimum monthly charge is not the same amount as advertised because it is a postpaid service. Kogan is going to charge a month in advance. And there is no online account like the mobile service where you can update the credit card or the usage.
I am yet to find out if the speed is adequate to watch in 4K TV.,
Kogan said that it can refund the amount, but from experience with Vodaphone (the service provider for Kogan internet), Vodaphone failed to refund the amount and even charged more on top incorrectly.

After a bumpy install, all good & impressed w Kogan's NBN
After a bumpy setup (bad communication by kogan with the sub contractor installer) it's all working well. An obvious difference from ADSL. Now that the kogan ph operator Mohsin (yep I got his name because he was so good) got me sorted & online I'm pretty impressed w Kogan.

Excellent connection experience, ok speefs
Connection experience from purchase through to delivery of nbn box and modem was excellent, I started with 100/gold, excellent speeds, dialed back to 25 after a couple of months, still ok for All but a few streaming videos

Overcharged Bill and Irresponsible Staff
A late payment fee of $15 was imposed on my monthly charge without even sending me a bill. My payment is always made by automatic direct debit in Kogan's choosing date. Tried calling the support team and they couldn't figure out the details. Staff promised would look into this and call me back; never heard anything from them.
Yes they offer good value nbn, but when something bad happens, you won't have anyone to count on. Terrible service!

It is a pretty good internet
The connection is pretty reliable and works perfectly. I do not use it during the day, but it is always functioning well when needed. One problem i have had is editing my personal details and changing the name and password of the internet.

I have Huawei HG 569 modem I have called three times to kogan call centre to know How to configure it, nobody is giving reliable answer instead hung up saying" we can only help you if you buy modem from us" very pathetic customer service. now I am thinking to switch to some other provider.

I would agree with Kogan. Why do you refuse contacting Huawei as it is their modem ? Hope your next provider does not give the same answer.
