I need help managing our new pool. The hand over was limited and has left me at a loss as to how to respond to an algal bloom. I have done everything possible from cleaning the filters, ensuring the chemistry is correct and vacuuming ( not sure if connected correctly as no instructions as to how to operate if have self cleaner. I put the connection plate in the skimmer basket side). Please give me advice or steer me to appropriate online resources.

National call centre, gatekeepers, first phone contact doesn't know much about the business (couldn't even tell me if they had a showroom, they do). No cant be resurfaced and don’t know what can be done to it as narellan have never sent someone to advise me on what it is or help with answers.

Has anyone used Narellan Pools Northern Sydney (Balgowlah)? We've received a quote from Narellan Pools; the Balgowlah business would be the local guys.
But seeing that nearly 40% of total reviews for Narellan pools on this site are "Terrible" (not for Northern Sydney area / Balgowlah specifically), and many reviews mention Narellan H/O provide little/no recourse, basic responses, or even apparent interest in sorting issues, I've very little confidence in proceeding further with Narellan.

I got what I wanted, but it cost me 15K more than I was quoted.
4 months on, I am yet to have my pool certified.
I am now liaising with council myself and chasing down documents myself, the price I paid was inclusive of certification.

Hi has anyone used Narellan pools in the Inner West of Sydney? We're in Haberfield. Already having a terrible time with them, delays in response to any simple question....wouldn't confirm a crane cost for more than a month, just delaying and wasting time, despite us saying we want a pool in by November. Worried this will be how they do the work as well. Not keen on the sales guy, and feel very doubtful on their ethics...seems more concerned in the sale and not the specifics, knowing we want to know as much about the cost we're in for. Seem to use subcontractors that they know from way out west when its not cost effective as well.....any help will be useful, have a not great feeling about them. But the other companies don't have the pool shape we want. URGH!!!

Read more My builder would take Monday to Friday off to do other jobs and do my pool on a Saturday and Sunday. Needless to say, it took 4 months to build the pool. In the middle is that time, he forget to get the certifier to come in, so now I have an unauthorized construction in my back yard.
