A Nightmare On Oracle Street!
Should be awarded the most unethical builder in Australia.
Do not waste your time or money on this company. We chose them to build a home and we lived to regret our decision.
1. We were rushed to decide on the finishes and colours in order to finalise the documentation and sign the building contract.

An amazing building experience from start to finish!
Honestly, I thought building was going to be a nightmare from what we had heard from every other person that had built with other builders in the past. All I can say is that Oracle Platinum Homes under-promised and over-delivered on every aspect of our build and we couldn't be happier with out new home.

le) gave us the tip to go next door and check out the Oracle Display Home in Jimboomba Woods. As soon as we walked in, we both immediately fell in love with the home. We spoke with the Sales Consultant for Oracle and he gave us honest and realistic pricing which remained true through to the end. Not once were we hit with an unexpected cost - this really surprised me because a lot of other people have said that there's so many hidden costs with building. Anyway, we went home, did our research online and checked out the reviews for the few builders that we were deciding between. Oracle had some negative reviews about their communication but one thing that did stand out was their great quality of workmanship. My partner and I agreed that we could deal with poor communication if it ever came to that but as long as the great quality of workmanship was there, that's what we'd be dealing with for a long time to come and we were happy with that. I confronted the Sales Consultation about the poor reviews in regards to their communication between internal staff and clients and he assured me that things had changed internally and we didn't have to worry about any of that. He was right! Not once have we received one bit of poor communication - all staff have been efficient, honest and prompt with any communication that we have had with them throughout the whole process. A special mention goes to the Customer Service Officer who remained in close contact throughout the whole build and had no issues with answering any of our questions or discussing any of our concerns. The colour selection process was a simple process. I've since found that they've updated their colour selections studio which would be a welcome addition to their process. Our main Colour Consultant was super helpful! Nothing ever seemed too hard for her. She sent me photoshops of our facade with our colours, she sent me photos of previous builds with similar selections.. she was an angel! I'm pretty sure I reached a new height of anxiousness throughout the build from my selections because I'm such a perfectionist and really wanted to get it right and the Colour Consultant put my mind at ease so many times. Thank you!!! Build process - we were given a rough 20-22 week building timeframe for our build (that's a pretty impressive timeframe for 462sq/m) and sure enough, they came in smack bang on 20 weeks (and that included a 4 week stop in works over the Christmas / New Year period - so 16 weeks of actual building). Our Site Supervisor was nothing short of amazing! We would often pop in and check up on the build and he would be more than happy to go over any questions, discuss any issues that had arisen and explained how they were / would be rectified. We felt really comfortable knowing that he was on top of everything without us having to bring anything up. We did have some minor issues throughout the build (some paint defects and a difference in front door colours), but Oracle dealt with these issues in the most professional and prompt way. Each issue has been rectified and on each occasion, we've had multiple people from Oracle contact us to ensure that we are happy with the resolution and outcome. Out of honesty, we paid our final invoice prior to even attending our PCI date and although others ridiculed us for doing so, as it's quite common for builders to take the money and then have no incentive to actually finish and rectify defects - I can safely say that Oracle did the complete opposite. If anything, by showing that we have trust in them by paying the invoice early, it made them more motivated to finish everything off for us. Our Site Supervisor even basically moved mountains for our handover date (3 days after PCI) to fit in with our plans and we really appreciated that. Post handover - since moving in (we've been in our new home for four weeks now), we've had a couple of issues (the TV antenna box not being turned on in the roof, a sensitive air-conditioning touch screen, a gas regulator problem - all very minor issues that couldn't have been picked up on prior to handover) and I kid you not, we've had someone show up within 12-24 hours to resolve the issue. I don't feel like Oracle have left us behind and moved on. I honestly feel like they still care.

Best Post build company by far
This is a follow up review from my review 6 months ago, Oracle customer service post build is 1st class, we had our retaining wall bow through no fault of oracles builders (thats another story) but Vince and Peter have outdone themselves fixing the bowed wall and now its back to a beautiful straight wall again, not only fixing the wall but including an extra drain for the water and extending the rocks down the side in which got ruined from the water coming in from the bowed wall,cheers to oracle for great service

We first learnt about Oracle when we visited their display home in Springfield Lakes in November, 2018. We had visited several display homes before and when we first met Adam Collins we were quite impressed by his genuine interest in what we wanted to do. What an easy building experience!
From start to finish, this has been such a seamless, easy, problem-free experience. Caroline from Oracle has always been on hand to answer our questions and is always pleasant and helpful. Excellent Experience with Oracle!
Right from the beginning I stepped into ORACLE office till the end of construction, my experience with them is fabulous. Sales guy Adam impressed with his experience and suggestions. So as Client Services officer and Site supervisor. The key is "Under Commit, Over Deliver!". I saw this practically from them. Bumpy start with good and bad experiences throughout, however ended up with a stunning forever home
Let me start by saying we ended up with a beautiful home that is far better than what we ever thought it would be, however we didn’t find the process as easy or stress free as we would have liked it to be. This was mainly due to poor estimating costs and the drafting team consistently drawing our plans wrong.

uild where worked stopped on site. The whole build went incredibly fast and overall the quality was very good. However, there were a couple of hiccups along the way. From the get go we ran into a lot of drama with the estimating and drafting team. Our plans were consistently drawn wrong or items that we had added to the plan were left out and while our sales consultant, colour consultants and office administration staff were very prompt at raising variations in sorting out the issues, these errors kept happening and this carried on for a several months, until our plans were finally corrected and the final copy was ready for signing. We also had a change in administration staff in the pre-construction stage of our build, while this was frustrating and stressful, Caroline did a great job taking over and sorting issues out and getting us on track to starting our site works. Before our build even kicked off we ran into extra costs outside of our contracted price, we were under quoted for the amount of peering needed for our house, this resulted in thousands of dollars of extra costs. We also found out a quarter of the way through our build that we didn’t even have a water meter, this was another costly item of several thousands of dollars. This was very stressful to hard to swallow that these costs were out of pocket costs as finance had already been secured, We definitely think this was due to poor estimating and while both these issues were a massive oversight, it was nice that oracle did accommodate us with these extra costs by raising a variation with the accounts dept and allowing us to pay these extra costs off throughout the course of our build instead of one lump sum. This also allowed for work on site to continue and progress. Overall, we are very happy with the quality of work on our dream home.1 comment

Family Home with Inlaw Accommodation
Our family home was finished in August 2018, at Stockleigh.
We needed a customised plan due to extended family requirements and after searching hi and low we came across Ben at Oracle at their Display home in Jimboomba.

Dream home
Being our second build our expectations were set quite high. But from start to finish the Oracle team have pulled through on all occasions from the design stage which we totally redesigned to colours and fixtures thanks for your patience.
Minus a few hiccups with the staff changes we are very happy with the build.
Big shout out to Geoff our builder who came on board at the last minute who kept the communication lines open when I was stressing out and always letting me know what was going on. Many many thanks to your patience and building knowledge you definitely are an asset to Oracle and we are much better off from your expertise. :) We can't wait to show off our new Oracle Platinum home to our family and friends.

Great value for money
We built a large house with Oracle above 500sqm floor space on a large acreage block, build time was very reasonable for a house of this size and the value for money with our inclusions was excellent. The sales person Ben Brownjohn was a wealth of information and made it very easy to do business with them, he made numerous site visits which assisted with the design and house placement on the block.
We have had a few minor items post construction that needed rectifiying which has been done with a minimum of fuss. Overall a very good experience and very happy with our house.

Excellent experience building first home on acreage
We had a very well organised build from start to finish, Oracle called and told us exactly what was going on.
Our supervisor was right on top of every part of our build, any issues we were called straight away and they were all sorted really quickly.
We had a honest and helpful consultant Ben,, he always answered my calls and gave me advice before and during the build. The quote Ben provided us was 100% accurate and it matched spot on to what our build contract price was.
I would recommend Oracle & Ben to anyone as he made the process easy for us.

Decent Quality builder with great commitment. Highly recommended.
We have recently built our new home with Oracle Platinum Homes at SPRINGFIELD Lakes.
Our building process approximately took around 8 to 9 Months from Contract stage to Handover stage. There were some delays due to climate conditions. Our home was built with a great quality standard. Entire finishing of the house is very good.
Out Customer service team (Caroline, Amanda), Color selection team (Ebony), site supervisor (Peter T,Ryan) and management team (Peter M, Chris) was very cooperative and reachable. We would definitely recommend Oracle for anyone building a new home.
Thanks to Oracle for building our first home beautifully. We would definitely construct any of our future houses with Oracle.

Should the gardens, fences be up at practical completion?
