I'm wondering what the temperature range is on the heat setting for this unit. I have a Mitsubishi currently which only allows you to set a minimum heating temperature of 18 degrees. I'm hoping to find a new unit that allows you to set a lower heating temperature of 15 or 16 degrees.

Panasonic Australia C.Panasonic
Hi Audrey, the Panasonic controller goes from 16 to 30 degrees in heating.

My aircon compressor (outside unit), from time to time doesn't seem to be running properly. It has happened a couple of times and now it has happened again. I have tried changing modes and even turning the main power off. Also the fan
to the compressor is only spinning really slow. Any ideas???

Hi Pride, best to check with your energy company that they haven't reduced the power during hot weather conditions in Australia, this could explain the symptoms you mention. Alternatively you can contact our customer service team on 132600 for further assistance.

We have a 50 sqm tiny home with a living/ kitchen area and a bedroom. We had this unit installed today. We have under floor insulation, wall insulation, ceiling insulation and double glazed windows. We have had it set on 28 degrees for the last eight hours and the house temperature is currently 16. Am I missing something here? The installer said it would heat our entire place in fifteen minutes.

entire house maybe due to the walls and air flow direction. i usually turn on to 28 and maybe after 30 mins it will reach 18-19 and it is open space for kitchen and dinning maybe 20-25 square meters.
At two o'clock this morning after being on all night the house temp was five degrees Celsius. Not a pleasant experience.
Panasonic Australia C.Panasonic
Hi Shane, apologies for the information you were provided, a split system is only designed to heat / cool the room it is in. You could find a problem if the unit is oversized for the application, once it reaches temperature (which can be very quickly in an oversized capacity), the unit will shut down. We would recommend using our sizing wizard guide app to confirm the unit size you require. https://www.panasonic.com/au/air-conditioning/learn-more/not-sure-what-size-air-conditioner-you-need.html

Hi,
Is there a way to turn this onto dehumidifying mode? We get a lot of moisture/mould. If it can dehumidify what do I press on the remote? The instructions were not clear in regards to dry mode and the likes. Explain it to a child (even though I am 31).
Thanks

I don’t think it operates as an humidifier which as I understand extracts the moisture which then has to have an outlet somewhere. The dry function just provides a gentler cool.

I have read the manual through and through, but find it very ambiguous. It cools the house nicely but appears the outside unit continuously operates without cutting out when at right temperature. I thought the unit should cut out utilizing a themostat. Maybe i'm doing something wrong. Hmm Any ideas?

Hi Tony
My understanding is that how an inverter works to save energy.

Hi I find if you have fan in auto speed this is a good indicator of what the outside unit is doing.
You probably don't want it to shut down as it uses more power to start back up.
I don't know to much but I highly recommend phoning Panasonic and ask to speak to a technician as there is a lot to these heat pumps.
But I think you will find it should be fine but give them a call to ease your mind and maybe give us a update cheers.
Panasonic Australia C.Panasonic
Hi Tony, the fan speed will reduce when the unit is in econavi or automatic mode. If you have questions on the functions, please give our customer service team a call on 132600 and we will talk you thru it in more details on the phone.
