Experience with Samsung support has been terrible. I would stay away. The TV performs well but picture is poor on an angle.
The problem - TV does not come with record and timeshift capability. They are in the manual (noted as region specific) and the specifications page on the website does not clearly state they are not included in Australia. I bought online - perhaps the mistake wouldn't have happened instore. My 5yo $300 TCL TV has these features so I was very surpised when I unboxed and they weren't available.
Samsung's response to this wa...
Read mores disappointing. I offered to buy a more expensive TV which was on sale ($600 off), but wanted to know if they could take back the other TV, for a portion of my purchase price. Samsung requested I go back to the retailer, which I did, but they could not help. Samsung refused to help with the unwanted TV. However, most annoying was the sale price on the more expensive TV expired while I was dealing with the retailer. Having convinced myself I would just have to resell the old TV with no support from Samsung, when I went to buy the more expensive TV, the sale price was no longer available. I asked Samsung if they could honour it, given the unfortunate situation, and they said no. It was only expired by 12 hours. To their credit, they did offer me a 20% discount after 90 minutes on the phone, but this fell short $150 on the sale price that had just expired. I felt I had been very flexible and that Samsung was not very helpful. Perhaps you will have a problem with your product and need some assistance - and for this reason I would not purchase any product from Samsung.Purchased in January 2022 for $995.

The most advanced TV on the market in my view. The picture quality is outstanding and Sport viewing is the winner. Took a little while to be acquainted with the features, but all good now. Streaming of Netflix, Stan, Disney and Amazon work well, The Apps already installed as well as adding to the list, are easily mastered, along with free to air Apps. The remote is Solar powered and works well although it takes some time to master all the controls. Wireless connectivity is good and there are probably never enough ports for all the additional associated appliances available these days.
Purchased in April 2021 for $1,500.
